About this property

Holiday on the green Canary Island of La Palma.

Our finca is a restored, Canarian estate, consisting of three houses, incl. Bathroom and kitchen. In the house "Antigua" is the 2. Kitchen with bread oven and other bedrooms from four people available. The large garden / park (about 10,000 square meters) is available to all guests. There are protected, private terraces for all houses.
The large garden / park invites you to sunbathe, discover, play and relax. From the viewpoints, enjoy a fantastic view over El Paso, the imposing mountains and the sea. Shops, bus stop are within walking distance.

House 1 can accommodate up to six people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove and oven and a fridge. The house is available for the occupancy of up to six people - three lockable connecting rooms, kitchen, shower and toilet. All three bedrooms and the traditional kitchen each have an outside door. For an occupancy of up to two people, bedroom # 1 is available. Up to four people receive two bedrooms and up to six people three bedrooms. The additional traditional kitchen can be used by guests of Casa Antigua. Here, after consultation, the popular baking courses take place.
It should be noted that the temperatures are about 4 degrees lower than those on the beach due to the altitude.

Nice place in a central location

House antigua is a nice and mostly quiet bungalow on a bigger property with a really nice shared garden. Although others mentioned the bungalow could be cold we felt that is was manageable and only really present when the sun was down. We stayed here around Christmas time. We liked that this place was close to El Paso, which had all the amenities we needed. And if we wanted to go further it felt very central on the island. Our local contact was also very helpful!

THE PERFECT location to explore La Palma

We absolutely loved the place, and would come back anytime (if time permits). The location of the house is perfectly situated to have access to the beautiful hiking regions of the island. The garden and the house have been created in a very individual, personal and creative style, with wonderfully matching colors (I love red!) and cozy corners and multiple little places with wonderful views in the garden. The kitchen is amazingly equipped, the beds are fine and very comfy. The bathroom is very spacious. The WIFI worked perfect, despite a heavy office workload. All is reasonably well cared for. Despite the quite central location, you really feel remote, no noises from the street or village can be heard, no nasty civilization can be seen (if not explicitly searched for). The local shops, supermarket, natural food store and restaurant are in walking distance. We had minimal trouble though staying warm in the evenings (cold March), with a wood stove and electric heaters, and the floors might have been a bit cleaner, these were the only (but really minimal) disadvantages. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends, who like individual traveling.

Die Finca war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit María war hilfbereit und sehr nett. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und es ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt in die Caldera de Taburiente und nach Los Llanos. Gut zu wissen: Es gibt insgesamt 4 Fincas. Die Fotos bei Fewo Direkt haben nicht der Finca entsprochen, die wir am Ende hatten (ähnlich aber nicht identisch). Auch haben Angaben wie z.B. Meerblick leider nicht auf unsere Finca zugetroffen. In der Finca war während unseres Aufenthaltes ein "feuchter" Geruch, den wir trotz Lüften nicht raus bekommen haben. Vielleicht lag es an der Wärme.

Sehr entspannend...

Eine schöne ältere Finca mit bequemen Betten und grosser Küche. Ein wunderbarer, besonders angelegter Garten mit vielen Ruhezonen. Leider war es uns nicht möglich das Haus genügend zu beheizen. Im Sommer jederzeit wieder, im Winter zu kühl für uns. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Monika und Manfred die uns bei allem Fragen rund ums Haus geholfen haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Finca Cosmos gefühlt.
