The garage apartment is special for many reasons, but being freshly renovated doesn’t hurt either! When compared with a stay in a hotel, our “crow’s nest” apartment is no comparison with the decor, amenities, and space provided for guests to enjoy a Lewes Beach visit. The apartment is filled with lovely decor with unique local finds and books about our area. Wifi and a desk provides a great work space for the remote work warrior and a canopy bed allows for a welcome escape to our quaint beach town. Unwind in the evenings with a smart tv filled with your favorite apps. We also have a fully stocked kitchen for the culinary minded, but hand washing of dishes is necessary so watch out for that friend that uses a million water glasses!
We have added a brand new pergola with cafe lights and an outdoor dining space for nice evenings. Enjoy cornhole boards we provide or giant paddle ball in the spacious driveway or yard. A hammock overlooks a manicured meadow that has many local wildlife visitors like deer, birds, foxes, rabbits and more. Our home backs to a protected natural wildlife area.
New for 2023: In the summer we will often have croquet set up in the field with all the gear available for guests so make a cup of tea and have a lovely afternoon! We are also putting in raised organic vegetable gardens and when various produce is ready to pick we will gladly share fresh vegetables with guests to cook a plant to table dinner!
We have several standard outdoor plugs available for Level 1 EV charging! Electric vehicles are welcome.
We have super easy transit to the beach for bicycle riders (hint: bike parking is free parking) via the Georgetown Lewes Bike Trail. We also have a downstairs lockable laundry room to store bikes and other beach gear in as well so your gear is secure.

Guests have full access to the garage apartment and garage apartment laundry room which is all separate and private from the main owner’s home. We provide parking for guests right in front of the apartment.

We are always available to our guests and keep a close eye on the Airbnb app to make sure guests have everything they need. Don’t be afraid to send us a message!

Our neighborhood is convenient and easy to get to. It’s right off of Route 1 for quick transit, but backs to a protected wildlife area which makes it still quiet and tranquil. We are located just .4 mi away from the Lewes Georgetown Bike Trail and definitely recommend using it to bike to downtown Lewes and the beach! Using the trail we are just a 4 mi bike ride to Lewes Beach. Turning left onto the bike trail, we are just .5 mi from Old World Bread (great breakfast bakery) and Beach Time Distilling! We are about 3 miles to the Rehoboth Tanger Outlets too for all the shoppers out there! If guests bring their own bikes, we have secure storage for them if requested!

Biking is by far the easiest way to get from downtown and the beach (about 4 mi via the bike trail to the beach and a similar distance to downtown amenities like restaurants, bars, and shopping). Aside from biking, driving is the second best option but see our printed guest book for local parking tips!

- We typically request guests be at least 25 years of age to book but we do make exceptions.
