Note: We are flattered from the inquiries we receive regarding weddings and special events. However, we have a strict policy regarding these type of events. This is NOT a wedding or special event venue. We do not have the facilities (bathrooms, parking, electricity output, insurance) to accommodate this type of request. Additionally we really care about our neighbors. There is a Winery and a wedding venue not far from the home that I can refer you to. Thank you.

Why Roseanne S. chose Azle
With our busy schedules this location works out great for us. We can take a 'last minute' get away and be there within 30 minutes and really feel like we are getting away. The location offers the best of both worlds. A country setting on 2.3 acres that offers privacy but is convenient to everything we want, need and like to do.
What makes this House unique
We've been told by previous guest that the setting reminds them of the hill country. We enjoy watching the wildlife (Deer, hawks and lizards mostly). We love the character rustic charm and history of this 1920's home. It was originally part of a 100 acre dairy farm in the 1900's. We have had the pleasure of connecting with the grand daughter of the family that built this home.

Sweet and Charming
My husand and I were recently in town for a wedding. I booked this house and from the very minute you turned down the long driveway you were drawn to the house. It’s got history, artistic touches, and it is so quaint. The inside was nicely decorated, felt inviting, and the views from the windows were of land for all the deer to roam on. We loved our stay.
Girls’ weekend. All four loved the house. Very comfortable, very clean, and well furnished.
Host accommodating and pleasant to work with. Beds and gather area of house comfortable. Herd of about 35 deer coming to graze morning and evening were a bonus!
Amazing, beautiful, relaxing, quaint home
The home is absolutely lovely! We had two little kids, 5 and 1 years old, and they just loved the cute place and getting to play outside . We enjoyed s’mores in the evening over the fire pit and grilled out and sat outside drinking coffee and eating our breakfast in the morning. We saw deer every evening and once in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the place was really clean. Roseanne was very responsive and even put some little kid toys in a cabinet for our kids to play with which was so kind of her. Fantastic stay - close enough to drive in to Forth Worth to things. You will not be disappointed if you want a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway
This cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. It is charming and clean and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals. Bonus: we saw buzzards, a hawk and deer on the property. Its proximity to Eagle Mountain Lake and the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge is a plus. I'd stay here again.
We had a great stay. Everything was great! The Christmas tree was a plus! The only thing we would suggest is removing the firepit as an option. We were looking forward to hanging outside and bought wood. We don’t live in Texas and therefore didn’t know about burn bans. Everything else was great!!
AMAZING!!! We had such a wonderful stay and loved the house.
We had planned a very special family vacation and wanted to be close, but not too close, to Dallas, Fort Worth and AT & T Stadium. We loved how peaceful and quiet, this house was...and waking up to all the deer in the front yard...was great. Such a wonderful home, with an amazing history...We loved sitting outside on the Veranda, relaxing and soaking in the surroundings. The house was made to feel like a home, filled with all the comforts that one could ask for and more. We will certainly stay here again and will treasure the memories we created. Thank you for allowing us to share in the history of your home and the surroundings.
Enjoy privacy, peace and quiet at this home on 2 acres. Don't let the rural setting fool you....guest are still within a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores in town. A 10 mile drive to Lake Worth (City) which is on the Fort Worth border.
