We Didn't Want To Leave!

We had a fabulous week aboard Captain Kris’ catamaran. We were a little apprehensive at first as there were no reviews, but as soon as we met Kris and boarded the boat, all our apprehension went away! Kris is a very kind and patient person. He is a very experienced sailor and told us many stories of his past sailing expeditions – including going to Antarctica! The boat had plenty of space for us all to spread out. We had sent Kris our ideal itinerary in advance, and he told us it was optimistic. We had great weather for our week, and were able to get in every spot we wanted to stop at, and then some! The first night Kris had Painkillers ready for us – and they were amazing - even better than that at the Soggy Dollar Bar! We cooked most of our meals on the boat – which took some time as the stove and oven are a bit small for cooking for 9 people – but we had no issues. We helped Kris with the moorings and he even let my son drive the boat at times. We very much appreciated all the amenities on the boat including: snorkel gear, a paddleboard, a single kayak and an inflatable tandem kayak, pool noodles and chair floats to float in. Kris also has an Optimist which is a mini sailboat that he used to teach kids how to sail on. Most of our group had a turn learning to sail – even the men! Kris took his time and taught each person individually as much as much as they wanted. If you are considering this kind of vacation – we highly recommend Kris and his catamaran!

Our captain have been sailing all over the world for over 40 years from Baltic Sea to Antarctica and for over 30 years in Caribbean Islands.
He is easy-going, patient and focused on safety. He loves to share his passion for sailing with others.
Sailing with him is safe but adventurous, peaceful and exciting and satisfying.
Kris for over 30 years teaches kids and adults how to sail.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The Leopard 48 was voted Multihull of the Year 2013 by Cruising World magazine. Our catamaran was built in 2014 and renovated in 2021.
Leopard catamarans are safe, easy to handle, spacious, well-built, and deliver an exceptional cruising performance. A Leopard Catamarans are built to provide optimal livability and adequate space.
Our boat’s 4 spacious cabins (each with double berth, electric toilet and shower) are functional and comfortable.
They offer adequate storage space in cabinets, under the beds, and on the floor. The galley has favorable spacing including large counter spaces, and can accommodate more than one person at a time.
Our catamaran has twin cockpits. There’s a spacious aft cockpit with a large table and dinette to port and a lounge to starboard. The shade of the forward cockpit comes in handy when sun gets in the aft cockpit. Watertight door leads from the interior to a forward cockpit, with twin drop down tables and bench seating.
Large saloon and a galley are on the same level. The galley has black Corian countertops and stainless-steel appliances including new Isotherm refrigeration. Headroom is good throughout with over 6’ everywhere in the very spacious saloon.
Port side has 2 double berth cabins and 1 single berth cabin. Starboard side has similar setting but single berth cabin is taken by skipper.
Table in the saloon can be lowered to create another double berth.

Catamarans are called "hotels on the water". You don't need any sailing experience - our captain will take care about that part of your vacation. Those interested can learn sailing.
Lately more and more people use catamarans for their vacations. Our catamaran will get you to places accessible only from water.
