Villa My Sunny Place is a family home under the Caribbean sun, on Curaçao - the island of perpetual Summer - on a private estate close to the beautiful beach of Playa Cas Abao.

Beautifully located on the west side of Cas Abou, this breezy villa presents a wide and unique view from its porch over the Caribbean Sea, the surrounding bays, San Juan Bay and the nearby salt pan. This is a wonderful place to enjoy sunset viewing from your porch.

The gated and quiet residential area of Cas Abou is just a 5-minutes' drive from the pristine Cas Abou beach, that was voted by National Geographic in 2017 as one of the world's best beaches. The villa is about a 20 minute drive from Hato Airport and Willemstad is just 30 minutes away.

The living room and kitchen lead out to the porch and open dining area, looking out over the swimming pool, and beyond to a panoramic view of the sea.
The living area is 200 m2 plus a spacious garage. The swiming pool is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped tropical garden .

All the bedrooms have louvred shutters that allow the cooling breeze through, with aircon for the hottest nights.

The guests have access to the entire villa and it is not shared with anyone else. The garden and pool are relatively private, only disturbed by scheduled pool cleaning.

Cas Abao is a private estate. It has a small beach via a rocky track, but nearby is the wonderful beach of Playa Cas Abao with a bar and dive shop.

Our rate includes free WiFi. An average utility usage of $ 25,- will be added to your nightly rate. To help us promote sustainability and avoid unnecessary charges, we kindly ask that you use water and electricity thoughtfully—especially when using the air conditioning. Nightly rates vary based on occupancy, ensuring flexibility to suit your needs.

Awesome spot! We had a fantastic time. The house and location are great. Had a couple of hiccups that were addressed quickly. the one thing to be aware of is there are mosquitos and no-see-ems in the morning, evening and night. Need to use bug spray with deet except for the middle of the day. We adventured around during the day and were back for happy hour by the pool. Sunsets are great and a constant view of the ocean is awesome. We actually watched a tuna feeding frenzy with huge tuna jumping out of the water within view and close enough to not need binoculars. nice hike to the northwest beach and a 5 minute detour took us to the flamingo lagoon with 30 flamingos. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and quiet

This place was perfect for our holiday. - very quiet area- loved having the pool to ourselves- the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated!- some extras that were nice to have: laundry, ice machine on the refrigerator, garage to keep the car cool during the day- location was central on the island and made it easy to get most places within a 30 minute drive.- we found several restaurants within 15 minute drive that were excellent.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Beautiful property, with an awesome view. While there are neighbors, it still feels very private which we liked. The property managers made checking in and out extremely easy and even though we had zero issues, i felt if we did they would have handled it right away. I would 100% stay here again.

Quiet and private

A lovely two weeks in a quiet community. We've stayed in Cas Abou several times and love the area. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and just chill, this area is for you. Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Cas Abou very much. It's in the perfect central location on the west coast to travel both north and south for quick half day/full day trips. The views are phenomenal. Access to the water is amazing with great snorkeling right at your doorstep. The hosts were welcoming and informative. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Cas Abou!

Perfect place for our family to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. Very comfortable setting for our family of four ( two young men-early 20’s) and my husband and I to spend 8 days. We enjoyed cooking together, swimming in our private pool, toasting the beautiful sunsets and star-gazing at night and coming home after a day of snorkeling and exploration. Highly recommend!

Very nice property in an usually quiet area. Good furniture and kitchen appliances. Plenty of space for a family of 5. Two quiet small beaches within easy walking distance. Unfortunately during our stay there was noisy construction activity daily close by.

The villa was absolutely beautiful – spacious, clean, and set in a stunning location. We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. However, the kitchen could use some upgrades. The pots, pans, and other accessories were quite basic and a bit worn, which made cooking a little challenging. A refresh in this area would make the experience even better. Still, overall, a lovely place to relax and unwind!

Very good value for the money! Gorgeous views, plenty of space (large master bedroom and living room, and spacious outside patio). Nice and clean. Also very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The pool is warm and has both a deep and a shallow end. Very grateful for well-functioning A/Cs in the bedrooms. Hazardous for small kids that there are no railings at all on the patio. Just a sheer drop. But no problem for adults. We also had issues with water backing up from the drains but Noom took care of the problem in a professional way and compensated us for the inconvenience. All in all a lovely stay, and we'd be happy to come back.

Overall, this is a great property. There were several scheduled maintenance items that had to be fixed while we were there, so we had to be gone multiple times. It was difficult to communicate with the company to determine accurate times when things would be taken care of. Due to this, our plans changed multiple times, to accommodate the workers. The location of the house was great, and overall, it was a good stay.

Beautiful views

The house itself was well stocked and very comfortable. It was great for 3 adults who love sitting outside and taking in the spectacular view. I would say that it isn’t a house for small children— the lack of a railing on the porch might scare parents. But adults and older children will enjoy this home. There is currently some construction in the area. and they work from 7-5. Didn’t matter because we are early risers and most of that time was spent on the beach. The neighborhood is wonderful. Very safe and secure being gated.

Private villa perfect space for tween and teen

We just stayed at Cas Abao for a week with our 10 and 13 year old girls. Good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds, aircon and fans in all the bedrooms and we didn’t need to turn it on til about 30 mins before bed. The kids lived in the pool overlooking the sea and we were able to sit on the porch and watch them while reading if we didn’t want to swim. There are a variety of lounging and seating areas inside and outside. Fans in kitchen and living room. Good kitchen with all the amenities we needed, and a grill on the porch. Everything was clean and plenty of towels. The location is too far to walk to anything and was probably 25 mins to big supermarkets (we liked Carrefour) and 40 to Willemstad/Mambo beach so we only went out to dinner one night. We didn’t feel like we missed out though and loved our time here.

Gorgeous house!

This house is absolutely stunning, even better than the photos make it look. The unobstructed, 180-degree view of the ocean is beautiful, and the pool and outdoor areas are lovely. The house itself is quite large, and the bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was also well equipped, and we appreciated having a washing machine. The management team was also super helpful and responsive. The beaches nearby are all excellent. If you're looking for something close to restaurants and nightlife, this wouldn't be a good fit, but if you want peace and serenity, this is the perfect spot. The one thing we struggled with was bugs. The bedrooms have screens on some of the windows, but the living area does not. For the first few nights, we kept those windows open in the evenings, but then we got absolutely chewed up by mosquitoes while sleeping, even with the bedroom doors closed and the A/C units in the rooms on. The only way to keep the bugs out was to shut all the doors and windows in the living area from about 5pm on, which made the house stiflingly hot. Having a few bug screens or an A/C in the living room would have made this a lot more comfortable, but all in all, we still had a great stay.

Incredible views and house

Amazing property

Beautiful villa with an amazing outdoor living space. Immaculate grounds with blooming shrubs and great pool to keep you cool!! Very clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Management quick with response. Recommend going to Centrum for groceries only 20 min drive away with everything you need including beer and wine for those hot days. We will return!!
