House was very clean and nice. Long car ride in so bring your meals or spend 30 minutes each way to get dinner. The host were wonderful to deal with, would definitely stay again.I give that part a 10 out of 10.We brought our boat and used the docks.Owner did inform it's a community dock and beware of water level issues. Got to the dock no issues but had to be towed out next morning,river water level went down during the night. Dock area needs work and dredging to make water deeper. Other than that great weekend on the river.

We absolutely loved the house! So comfortable, so clean, very well stocked. We really loved the place. It's a long drive down the road to get to, but mostly a pretty drive at least. the neighbor made it a bit weird with all her keep out signs. I tried to put my dog in the fence twice and both times she let her big dogs out that never stopped barking, so we just walked our dog. But the owner/house was very accommodating. I'd book this place again in the future.

Great Escape

Was in the area visiting family and this was the perfect rental! It had everything we needed, beds slept comfortably, and it’s very clean! This will definitely be our go to rental when visiting in the future.

Property was amazing. Very neat and clean. I will say we loved the drive in and out from Chattanooga but be ready for a 20/30 minute drive each way. The reason we did 4 out of 5 was due to the small tank pool in the back yard. It has been removed and a fireplace put in. Very nice just the kiddos were expecting a tank pool.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a sign saying go away and that we weren’t welcome there. The neighbors clearly don’t like that the property is a vrbo, which made us feel very unsafe there with our young child since the property is so far out in the woods. I feel this is something people should be warned of prior to arrival.We had issues with most of the appliances during our stay. The host offered to send someone to check them out, but we didn’t feel like we should have to be disturbed during our stay. The oven made the whole house reek of gas, so we wasted money on groceries that we couldn’t make in the oven due to obvious safety issues. The washing machine was just filling up with water and draining it right out, skipping the wash or spin cycles half the time. This made us feel like any towels or sheets had not been cleaned properly. The dishwasher’s detergent drawer was still closed and full of the detergent after running a cycle, meaning the dishwasher is not using detergent. Again, this made us worry about the cleanliness of any dishes. Many of the pots and pans need to be replaced. Most of them are borderline unusable due to burnt food on them and heavily scratched nonstick surfaces. There was dog poop left in the fenced area that I picked up myself, the fridge needs a deep clean, mold on the ceiling by the vent in the master bathroom, hair in the sheets in the master bed, etc. Nice house with a beautiful view, the house just needs attention in some areas.

Comfortable Stay in Chattanooga

We had a nice time staying at this VRBO. It was comfortable and a nice place to come home to after long days of activies in the Chattanooga area. Solo stove was a plus along with patio to sit and listen to the birds.

What a great escape

Everything is as pictured! It’s such a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Is nestled in the trees but still next to the river. Definitely my type of getaway!

Wonderful quick NYE stay

Very cute house, clean, easy check in process, beautiful river view. Comfy beds! Hard to navigate with GPS. The owners are very easy to communicate with.

Relaxing

This place is relaxing and truly nature oriented. I spent my days and evenings on the patio watching the river and the birds. There is a bird nest on the porch!

Great place!!!

The check in process was super easy, and the home was really nice! It worked well for me, my husband and our 3 year old and 1 year old. Our gps did not take us there, but we were able to find it based on instructions provided! It was within 30 minutes of Chattanooga, and lots of hiking!!

Private and Quiet

My husband and I were able to sneak away for 24 hours which never happens! Jeremy was so nice to accommodate and early check in and allow us extra time together. Kitchen was well stocked so I could make a nice dinner, it was quiet and peaceful. Back patio was great and the perfect place to sit and unwind.

Peaceful retreat

This was a lovely home. Very peaceful and quiet. The location was a wee bit inconvenient for our particular plans but for people wanting to enjoy the river and the peacefulness it perfect. The hosts were responsive and helpful with tips and recommendations. And all of their tips were spot on.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed the location, the house, and surrounding areas. We went to visit one of our children at UTC. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, & the area was quiet. It was a bit of a drive to campus (we were aware & ok with that). We hiked, sat outside, played games & read. At first we were worried about the other reviews saying the neighbors didn’t want us there but we felt comfortable.

Beautiful Place on the River

If you’re looking for a well-designed place for a quiet getaway with easy access to the water, look no further! Jeremy’s place has great appliances for those who love to cook, plenty of space to spread out, a great outdoor setup, and just feels good to spend time in. It’s far enough away from everything to feel like a true getaway, but only about a 30-40 minute drive to all the activities in Chattanooga. The best of both worlds!

The only concern was the big brown dog that kept menacing us And no sheer curtains on the sliding glass doors out to the deck We had no issues with getting in touch with the property manager it was a very short stay but we would stay there again It was clean very well laid out

Beautiful house

Loved the house. There are a lot of pet situations and if you are sensitive to that I wouldn't go. Neighbor leaves her big dogs outside all night and all day and there are dogs just walking around. Getting out there is a trip to say the least and getting down to the water and then back up to the house is a work out to say the least.

Very nice house, beautiful views, but located in the middle of a 20 mile rough mountain road

The house was very nice, clean and adequately stocked. Outdoor covered patio was great with beautiful views of the river and mountains. Two car parking was ok for vehicles but not able to handle a boat and trailer, which we had. Road was not maintained well enough to handle a boat. Travel time was 50 (13 miles) minutes going west and 35 going East (8 miles) and had many very narrow parts down to single lane. Hosts were good to communicate with and very responsive. I would have rated this rental as 5 if not for the roads. Would have been tolerable if not for the fact we had a boat and trailer.

Great house. Bad road & angry neighbor

There pothole filled road to get to & you must not use gps. Use the odometer to find the row of mailboxes just after the cemetery if coming from Suck Creek Rd. One of the mailboxes in the community has VRBO NOT WELCOME. GO AWAY written on it. One house has signs that says praying is the best way to meet God. Trespassing is the fastest. They're clearly not pleased to have the VRBO there & have blocked access to the river via above signage (if they haven't then I couldn't find the access). TLDR: Great property but hard to get to with one angry neighbor. No lake access unless you want to risk getting shot.
