  • This place was magical!

"We had a ton of family converge on this property and the one next door owned by the same person. I'd thought we'd be really tight in this home, but it was AMAZING how everyone seemed to melt away into the many spaces all over. The two living rooms plus the kitchen and dining were more than sufficient for all of us. The kitchen was fully equipped. The decor just charmed the socks off me!!!! So much goodness to look at! The neighborhood was great to stroll through. We walked to the college campus and to Warner Park. I want to come here again!!!"

  • Wonderful Cabin on the River, Great place to vacation, Worth Every Penny!

"We stayed here 4 nights with 3 adults, 4 kids and had a wonderful time! The cabin and surrounding area is gorgeous. A little tight with 7 of us, but everyone had a place to sleep, had plenty of towels and everything we needed. It was great to walk into a nice cool cabin too, because it was definitely HOT out! We also did a lot of grilling and cooking, so the kitchen was no problem. The kids (11 through 15 years old) - had a great time fishing when the river was down, then swimming/tubing when the river was up. Best of both worlds! We all ended up buying river rafts and floated down the river directly to the cabin for 2 of the 4 days we were there, so much fun! The boys caught some nice bluegill from the river, it's very pretty in the mornings when you can see the bottom. Easy to dangle a worm in front of a fish! Conveniently located to tourist areas like Ruby Falls and the Lost Sea, but we ended up just staying at the cabin. We did hit Chattanooga one evening with the photographers of the group and got some nice night shots from the local bridges there. We took a lot of pictures! Even some of butterflies checking out the pretty flowers on the property. :-) Cabin was nice and clean, has everything you need to feel at home - right when you walk in the door. The owners are very kind, easy to deal with, and quite helpful with local info! We highly recommend Welcome Valley Village cabins, and definitely hope to go back soon! The surrounding area with the dock, access to the river, hammocks, fire pit, grills, etc. is perfect for families. If you're on the fence about renting here, just do it. You'll love it!"

  • Good family gathering

"Plenty of room for big family and great location. Some of lights and outlets didn't work but it's and old house. Overall great stay."
