  • Spacious, unique, well stocked

"Our family of 8 vacationed here along with another family of 6. We were very pleased with the house. Plenty of rooms for us to spread out and lots of extras that were kept on hand for us to use (baby gate, high chair, etc). Our only complaint is that we couldn't keep the upstairs cool despite keeping all the doors to the hallway closed as the owners suggested. It was an usually hot week when we visited so we used every fan we could find and even purchased some extras but it was still uncomfortable sleeping upstairs because it was so warm. Understandable since the house is older and definitely not a reason to keep us from returning."

  • Florida Family of 4

"We had the best time at the Loft! Our family enjoyed cooking out, picnics on the boat dock, snorkeling and swimming in the river, along with kayaking and fishing. We ventured off to Chattanooga for some sightseeing and dinners out. Susan and Jerry were wonderful hosts - and the breakfasts were amazing! Our accommodations were more than what we expected and we certainly plan to refer our friends to the Loft! Thank you again for a great week!"

  • Showpiece home near everything

"We had a fantastic time exploring this home as soon as we arrived. There was plenty of space. With seven of us, including two big kids and one baby, we didn't even use one of the bedrooms! Living in an older Victorian home ourselves, we loved all the features - transoms, pocket doors, moulding, staircases, etc. And we also liked that the sidewalks in the Fort Wood neighborhood indicate when all the homes were built. This house is close enough to walk downtown if you're willing to get some exercise (about a mile), and it's right next to UT-Chattanooga, which has a nice campus and a Starbucks a few blocks away. It's also close enough to the Tennessee Riverwalk for those wanting to go for a run. We would definitely stay here again on another Chattanooga visit. Thanks!"
