Beautiful waterview home with 5 beds, 3.5 baths, only 4 blocks from the beach!

Gorgeous, fully renovated home away from home offers a breathtaking view of the intracoastal waterway from the privacy of two private screened in front porches. One block to beach access road and only minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, beach stores, bars, ice cream and candy shops and fun places for the whole family.

Back yard has a spacious paver patio full of greenery and flowers as well as a fire pit, sitting wall and top notch lounge furniture. Blackstone grill available for cooking breakfast and dinners outside, if desired.

The low traffic volume on Yacht Drive allows for morning quiet time and coffee on the porches, long walks, bike rides and golf cart trips with beautiful scenery along the way.

Four bedrooms accommodate sleeping for up to 10 people (1 king, 3 queens, 1 full), with three full baths and one half bath. Tankless water heater insures everyone can enjoy taking hot showers throughout their stay.

Large beautifully decorated master bedroom with king bed is conveniently located on the first floor making it even better for those who don’t do well with stairs. Spacious master bath has gorgeous walk in shower with glass doors, double sinks and the convenience of a brand new washer and dryer hidden in a lovely customized cabinet.

All beds have new, comfortable mattresses. Linens are provided including sheets for all beds, as well as bath towels.

Kitchen has updated appliances and granite counter tops. Between the kitchen and dining room tables, 12 people can gather to eat and spend quality time together, with seating for an additional 4 people on the first level front porch. The 2nd floor bar also has seating for 6 inside and seating for 4 on the upper deck porch.

Upstairs has three bedrooms with four beds, as stated, but a unique bonus! Front bedroom overlooking the water (where the full size Murphy Bed is located) has been turned into a gorgeous, airy bar where good times can be had by all. There is a TV over the bar for watching ballgames and more, as well as a Keurig coffee pot and mini-fridge for convenience. Throw in a whiskey barrel, bar stools, some disco lighting, and a beautiful porch and it's the perfect hangout spot!

Roundabout driveway provides plenty of parking. Guests are asked to put all cars in the driveways and not park on the street, per town rules. Huge backyard and back patio area provides space for hanging outside, playing corn hole and enjoying the sun in the afternoons. Outdoor shower beside the back porch makes it convenient to wash the sand off before entering the house as well as provide an extra shower space.

Great Place

We were very happy with our vacation to Oak Island and this house. It had all kinds of kitchen items and utensils, perfect for a family with kids who want to stay in and eat. It was near to the beach and family-friendly. Great neighborhood! The bedrooms and bathrooms and house de or were very inviting and beautiful. Perfect girls’ trip stay

We enjoyed a family girls trip to Oak Island. We had room for all 8 of us to be comfortable dining, lounging and sleeping. This place is perfectly decorated! Comfy bed linens and plush couch blankets. I wouldn’t recommend this place for curious little ones unless very well monitored as there’s nice decor, art, old record albums and a player, etc.

The pictures do not do this beautifully remodeled home justice. We enjoyed our moms weekend away to the fullest. From the wonderful views from the balconies. To cooking and laughing in the kitchen. This house was a slice of heaven for the weekend.

Great house, close to sound

This house is a great find, but important to note it is one block from the sound, not from the ocean. You will want to drive to get to the ocean side. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. Master bedroom has the most comfortable bed I have ever enjoyed in a rental. Living areas are spacious, and a giant table for plenty of friends and family. The outdoor areas are amazing (fire pit with ample seating, outdoor shower, great Blackstone grill, and 2 screened-in porches). Overall, a great stay. Would have been perfect if close to the ocean.

Perfect Set Up for group.

I’ve stayed at a handful of houses at Oak Island and this one exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness alone would prompt another stay with our group (we have some picky ones 😆). The bedroom set up was great with multiple groups. Everyone had plenty of privacy, space and bathroom accessibility. The openness of the kitchen/ dining/ living room made it easy for meals and hang outs. The furniture and decor were top notch. A lot of beach houses are retired pieces from owners personal home… the house decor was very well thought out and aesthetic kept throughout the house. The parking in front and back provided plenty of room. We were able to drive to closest beach access and easily find parking. Communication with Tracie was easy and checking in and out was seamless. The two porches were wonderful and the two coffee machines were a great touch. We didn’t even get a chance to enjoy all the amenities. Location was great, quiet neighborhood and a mile from Publix. Do not hesitate- book this home!

Great stay in Oak Island

We (6 adults spanning 3 generations) really enjoyed our stay at Tranquil Harbour. Tracie was very responsive to our questions and accommodating when we needed to alter the dates of our stay. The house appears to have been recently renovated and is beautifully decorated in a coastal theme. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats on the Intra Coastal Waterway, as well as Oak Island's wide beach and nice warm water.

One of the best things about Dune our Thing is the front porches. Rain or shine, nothing beats sitting in the swing downstairs or on the top deck and watching the boats go by. Also you can't beat hanging in the bar with friends without having to leave the house.

There are upstairs and downstairs porches where you can enjoy the intracoastal waterway in a peaceful atmosphere, as well as a backyard patio with seating, a Blackstone grill, and a propane fire pit. And as a bonus, a bar room on the 2nd floor for entertaining and enjoyment.
