Located on Lake Tuscaloosa, only 20 minutes(16 miles)to Downtown Tuscaloosa and the UA campus. We love inviting our guests to a sparkly clean home with all the basics (and a few extras) provided.
*Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Tuscaloosa.
*Great deck with seating, grills, and a great view.
*Fire pit by the lake.
*Two of the 4 bedrooms have king-sized beds and in-suite baths.
*Three kayaks, chairs, porch swing on the dock.
*Two boat slips with plenty of tie offs and bumpers, and a lift.
*Gas and charcoal grills
*Kitchen and coffee bar are well stocked.

Publix is nearby, and it's only a 20 minute drive to downtown Tuscaloosa. There are 3 large screen TVs (2 with full cable line up including SEC HD channel), cards, and board games. Discounted for Weekly rentals and more by the month.

Let us know about your outdoor endeavors so we can help with recommendations. This includes golf courses like Ol Colony, or mountain biking at nearby Sokol park, Lake Lurleen State park, or other areas within 45 mins such as Tannehill or Cahaba River parks. Depending on rain conditions there are even a couple river trips that can be had nearby on Hurricane creek or little Cahaba River. Tuscaloosa regular events not to miss include our Saturday morning Tuscaloosa farmers market, Friday evenings Summer concert series (Live at the Plaza), Kentuck (October), and the Druid City Arts Festival (May). If we can provide any service such as stocking with groceries or transportation, let us know.

One of the best ever!

Never have we had as good of an experience. A beautiful location, a beautiful home exactly where we wanted to be. Most importantly, an immediate connection to wonderful people/owners who were more than willing to take care of everything we needed! Not a "corporate" BS VRBO, this one is PERSONAL!

Amazing!

Amazing Home and a fantastic host. The property and lakefront is awesome. It was also also the best stocked house that I have ever rented. I hope to come back here again and again.

Every detail was perfect!

We stayed at this gem of a property while moving our son into the U of Alabama and it was perfect. So well-appointed, comfortable, and clean, we had plenty of room and enjoyed the lakeside location. Morning yoga on the dock, afternoon kayaking and cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Lakeside getaway

Wendy is responsive and very accommodating! We had such a great time and the house was perfect for the kids and adults! Plenty of space and everyone loved the lake, cooking s’mores around the bonfire, and the dock with some great fishing! Such an amazing 3 nights of family time and we want to make this a yearly tradition to go back! Highly recommend!

Great location to relax while visiting Tuscaloosa

Our son was visiting the campus and we wanted to make a vacation of it. It was a short drive to the grocery store and easy to get to the U of A campus when we had visits scheduled. The owners provided so many things that I was not used to, like plenty of garbage bags, laundry and dish detergents, and other necessities that saved a lot of time and effort. I highly recommend checking out the property if you ae thinking of staying for several days to have a comfortable place to go after a day of fun.

Lake Retreat

This property was the perfect home to spend time with our University of Alabama daughter. We found it to be spacious and wonderfully furnished. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, utensils and dishes. The beds and bedding were amazing. The home and property were clean. Sitting on the dock allowed us the opportunity to relax literally on the lake! We are looking forward to renting this property again on a future trip to see our daughter. Wow!

What a super experience. Wendy could not possibly have been more accommodating. She thought of everything. Welcomed us with some cookies and waters. Stocked with coffee, spices in the kitchen, paper towels, Qtips, even bug spray! Clean and spacious and right on the lake. Beautiful location, about 20 minutes from campus. Not fancy, just awesome. Will Not Look For Another❤️

First of all the home was beautiful and so spacious for a large group! There were all sorts of special touches:toiletries, laundry room supplies, garbage bags, kitchen spices and many other things you might forget there for you. But, the over the top assistance provided when we had unexpected car trouble was amazing! These hosts were kind, so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay great! Beautiful pier with a beautiful view!!! We have definately found our home away from home at Lake Tuscaloosa❤️

Great Tuscaloosa Getaway

The perfect setting for a getaway during your visit to the University of Alabama. Its just a 20-25 minute drive to campus, but you can also spend your days enjoying the lake activities, sitting near a fire, or having a cookout with a perfect view. Wendy is a fantastic and responsive host, and the house is stocked with all of the essentials you need for travel. I definitely recommend and will be staying there again.

Lake Weekend

We had a great time and everything was easy from booking to departure. The property exceeded our expectations for lake house. We enjoy cooking and Everything we needed was was available and organized. The property was Clean, neat, well furnished and equipped indoor and out. Nice deck overlooking trees and short walk down to dock on water. Owner was in contact couple of times throughout stay to assure all was well. This is All around great spot for group getaway at lake.
