Nice Getaway

House was clean and nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked, pool and hot tub was clean. Easy to check in and out, great communication. Conveniently located between 2 beach access.

Great family getaway

This is beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay very much. We were all able to gather in the main living areas to play games, eat, and relax. There were also two other smaller common areas on the bottom two floors that allowed people to get some space or do other activities. It's an easy walk to the beach and to Jockey's Ridge.

Beautiful Cottage! Perfect Location

Very clean! Beautifully decorated! Minutes from the beach! Fully stocked with beach/pool toys and cookware. Owners extremely communicative! We couldn’t ask for anything more!

Vacation 2024

This house is amazing! The Turner’s are such wonderful hosts and they have truly thought of everything for their home. We had 4 teenagers annd 4 andults. Everybody had something to do and everyone was amazed at how wonderful the house was! Beach access was super easy to get to! Thank you for a fantastic week! We already signed up for next year!

This was a nice place to stay with beach nearby. Pool and hot tub were nice additions. Did not use hot tub. The pet peeve I had was that we had to pay for linens and towels. Haven't had to do that before. It is hard enough for families to meet in a common place aftering driving sometimes for days to have to make beds for everyone when they got there. I guess you are really forced to pay for that service if you fly in. It really drove the cost up of what we thought was already high priced.

Perfect location

We had an amazing stay at this property. The location is perfect. The beach access is about a block away. You can see the ocean from the front top deck. We spent a lot of time watching the cars go by and looking at the stars at night on the top deck. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. There were 2 keurig machines. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The only suggestion I would make is to bring extra blankets for the beds and for the couch when watching TV at night. The house was very cold, so if your someone that sleeps cold (like me) you will appreciate having extra blankets.

Great Time at Turn'er Loose!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family just returned from a week at OBX Turn'er Loose and had a wonderful time! The home was clean, well appointed, just the right size, and a perfect spot to make family memories that will last forever. It was less than one block from the beach, and only a few blocks from our favorite ice cream spot (Surfing Spoon), easily within walking distance. We also enjoyed many hours poolside, and especially loved that it was fenced in with a locked gate and not accessible to our grandson. Overall, a 5 star rating.

House and location fantastic

The house is even nicer in person than it shows online. Very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. You don’t need to bring anything to cook with because the kitchen is fully stocked. There are several coffee makers, a traditional and Keurig! There is even a waffle maker. Beach access is extremely close-there are lots of pool toys to use. There are corn hole boards, horse shoe pit and a putting range. There is an option between charcoal and gas grill, with an extra propane tank, if needed. Although we didn’t need one there is a high chair and gate provided. The decks had great furniture and well as amazing views! Our family can’t recommend this house enough!

Turn'er Loose was a Hit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a multigenerational family and made the most of all Turn'er Loose had to offer. The pool and hot tub were great amenities for the teens when not at the beach. Both are cleaned weekly and fresh water was awaiting us in the hot tub! The house is ideally located close to public beach access making it easy to set up our camp and go back and forth throughout the day. Jockey'a Ridge and ice cream shops are within walking distance. Grocery stores are close by as are the retail outlets and movie theater for rainy day options. Sunrise views in the front and sunset views in the back are a BONUS! The rental was very clean upon arrival and the owner was accommodating and reachable. Highly reccommend!
