Perfect getaway

My family and I love this cozy cabin so much! Its perfect for our needs, and extremely close to oour favorite fishing spots! Eric and Stephanie are amazing hosts!! This is the second time we've stayed here and definitely wont be our last!!!

June Family Vacation

If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, look no further! Super clean and has anything and everything that you could ever need. My family and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake poinsett, and it was so nice having everything that we would need for our stay and more, we will be staying here again in the future!

Much needed vacation

Stephanie and Eric were amazing hosts! The house was perfect for my husband, daughter and myself. Our week long getaway was just what we needed, even if the weather wasn't the best, we still made the most of it. Poinsett never disappoints us with great fishing. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!!!

Cozy, comfortable, clean, canine-friendly with stunning lake views!

Great getaway home on beautiful Lake Poinsett that was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed. Property is conveniently located for easy day visits to both Watertown and Brookings and less than 10 minutes from the Poinsett Recreation Area where we enjoyed the most gorgeous sunset! After our busy days, we relaxed, played games & enjoyed a very comfortable nights' sleep. Dogs loved it, too. Communication with the host was also exceptional! We will definitely return to this gem!

Summer stay

We came to the area as my husband does some recruiting from the Watertown Tech college. About seven guys in his department are from the area. Thought we would check out the Glacier Lakes do some fishing. Plus I do like Watertown. Our accommodations were perfect. Though we did not catch fish. The lake was beautiful and lacked congestion of many lakes I’ve been too. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Weekend at the Lake

This Lake Poinsett lakefront property was exactly as described. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for meal prep. The bed was comfortable, loved the fluffy towels, and everything inside the home was clean. The lake service came and raised the dock while we were there which was great otherwise we had to wade through a few feet of water to get on the dock due to all the rain they've received. The owners were kind enough to offer early check-in and said we could stay past checkout on Sunday. Wish we could've taken advantage of that but had to get back to reality. The beautiful weather made our weekend even better. Unfortunately the fish must've left for the weekend as we didn't catch a thing! We enjoyed golfing at a couple of the local courses. This property is nothing fancy but if your looking for a reasonably priced stay on Lake Poinsett with all the basic necessities I would highly recommend it.
