We are so excited to surprise our guests with our newly renovated, jungalow inspired home!

This is a large 3 story, 4 BR/3.5 BA house located just outside of the popular Ghent district in Norfolk, Virginia. The location is perfect: walking distance to many breweries, upcoming restaurants & coffee shops!

Bedroom configurations:

ROOM 1: Located on 2nd floor. 2 Twin beds.
ROOM 2: Located on 2nd floor. 1 King bed.
ROOM 3: Located on 2nd floor. 2 Queen beds. Attached full bathroom.
ROOM 4: Located on 3rd floor. 1 Queen bed. Attached full bathroom.

Our home is your home, so you will be able to come and go as you please during your stay using our keyless entry! This house features a large front porch, a backyard with an outdoor dining area, a large open concept living room/dining/kitchen, coffee station & nook, 4 bedrooms (2 of the bedrooms are master bedrooms!), a pack n play, and highchair for the kiddos! Sleep is extremely important to us, so we even installed all new memory foam mattresses in each room!

FREE PARKING ONSITE - our driveway is long enough to fit up to 4 vehicles. Street parking is also free and there is plenty of space directly in front of our house.

Yellow door home was best!

Beautiful spacious home with everything we needed. Walking distance to great downtown restaurants, breweries and shops. The home was spotless, beds super comfortable and decorated really nice. Loved the coffee bar. We willl be staying here again!

Good for a crowd

Ample room for 4 couples and a child. Walking distance to great breakfast and coffee options. Older house in an unkempt neighborhood, but clean and comfortable for a crowd.

We were in town to celebrate my grandson’s birthday. Your property was close to everything we needed including the zoo. Everything was clean and so comfortable too. I will definitely come back again!

The residence offers impressive spaciousness and cleanliness. With numerous bedrooms and bathrooms on every floor, a large front porch, and an expansive backyard, it undoubtedly deserves a 5-star rating!

Perfect place

We loved our stay at the Jungalow! Safe neighborhood with a great playground around the corner, zoo close by, and ODU baseball field!! Quick drive to the beach and shopping. This home was spacious and comfortable. Beds were extra comfy and most importantly to me, there were no funky odors. Clean upon arrival!! Host was great to work with, we will be staying here again.

Wedding fun

Mostly the house met our needs and was enjoyable. Loved the fenced in backyard. We had some trouble with the washer and dryer. Oven light wouldn’t go out, but no big deal. Good parking space. Mattresses a bit hard. Generally it was a very good space for us.

Perfect Yellowdoor Inn!!

This house is absolutely perfect! My family flew in from multiple places throughout the country for my son's first birthday. Alisha allowed us to have the party at this house and it was everything I'd hoped it would be! She was so quick with communicating back to me about any questions or concerns I had. I am a neat freak and this place was squeaky clean! Everything gets a 5+ star aside from the location. Kind of a sketchy area but it's super close to multiple breweries and only 10 or so minutes from downtown Norfolk. Again, my family and I absolutely LOVE this place and LOVE Alisha. Such a great and accommodating host!!! We will definitely be booking this place again!

Nice place for the family

Look like the grass man forgot to show up. The grass was not cut. So therefore, Outside was no place to hangout. Landscape need improvement. The house was beautiful inside. The smell was fantastic. This is a BIG house. Everything was in place. Love it. We didn’t get a chance to venture the neighborhood. We had events to attend everyday. Yes, I will come back. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay.

We always check in with our guests the next day to see if there is anything you need, and unfortunately we didn’t hear back from you to have the grass issue resolved. Nice house, Central Location

Nice house for the family, plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children. An older house but appears to be renovated throughout well recently. Centrally located to be about 30 minutes drive from most attractions. The zoo is about a 10 minute walk but I would just drive as it has free parking. Also the neighborhood is sketchy and I would recommend not walking around at night. Alisha was a great hostess and super responsive before and throughout the stay. Internet worked well, she fixed it went it went down once quickly. Also sent an amazon package of garbage bags when we ran out. The backyard is fenced so your dog can run around.

Great for a group

The property and home are well maintained and stocked with plenty of amenities. The home is clean and decor is adorable. Lots of room for families both inside and out.
