"This is a lovely home - perfectly laid out! It is beautiful and comfortable. Brad is great at communication - always answering every question quickly. The home is stocked with kitchen trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soaps in the bathrooms, so you need not bring those things. There are 2 Weber kettle charcoal grills, and 4 beach chairs, and 9 adult bikes! Cape Charles is a lovely little town. We have been here many times. I think The PInnacle is our favorite place to stay so far - it was perfect for our family. The golf courses are my husband's favorites. The golfers have enjoyed eating at the Coach House Tavern, which is just a 5 minute walk from the Pinnacle. And the community pools are a bonus - they always seem to be very quiet and uncrowded with lots of lounge chairs, and there is a baby pool. There nice places to eat out in Cape Charles - had great sandwiches at Dead Rise Pies, and wonderful lunch and dinner at the Oyster Farm, and dinner at the Shanty. Of course, Brown Dog ice cream is a must, and an easy walk from the public beach. On previous visits we have eaten at the Pub and enjoyed it. Thank you, Brad! Our little get away was wonderful!"

  • Comfortable, well-equipped Home

"We made our first visit to the Virginia Eastern Shore and were fortunate to stay in this home. The owners are very pleasant to work with and have equipped their property very nicely for a family vacation. We especially enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the front porch, comfortable bedrooms and furnishings and a well-stocked kitchen. The house is modern with all conveniences. As it was near 100 degrees at the start of our stay, we very much appreciated the working air conditioning. The owners thoughtfully make beach chairs and water toys available for renters to use at the town beach. Easy access to Cape Charles and to the Bay Bridge-Tunnel over to Virginia Beach. The community pool and tennis court are nearby and are in good shape. Top marks for this vacation property!"

  • Just as the description said.

"I have rented various properties in different locations through VRBO. This house was the best with supplies. This may seem trivial but there was hand soap at every sink, plenty of ice cubes ready in trays( sure an ice maker would be nice). Well stocked kitchen. This historical home was charming. Thankfully they upgraded with air conditioning, Internet, & cable tv. Impressed with Chesapeake Properties that managed the reservation. My first visit to Cape Charles. It was so quaint. Chesapeake Bay beach is great. I didn't have as much time to enjoy it, as I was there for a golf tournament at Bay Creek Resort. We ate at Oyster Farm Eatery & Shanty's. Would have eaten at Hook u Up, but they only serve dinner Tuesday- Friday. If this is peak summer season, I will say it is very low key. Some businesses are only open Wednesdays - Saturdays. There are no major brand restaurants or stores in the area. Frankly, I enjoyed that."
