With pleasing aesthetic design, this home is a great stay for comfort and inspiration located in the heart of Oxford. Open the sunny-yellow front door and take in the view of Lamar Park which has enjoyable green space with great walking trails including an art sculpture walk. When staying here, you are within walking distance to the grove and stadium; bike path, sidewalks and crosswalks will get you safely on foot from this house to campus and the square.
Circular parking for four cars means you will love the accessibility to Ole Miss campus without the headache of parking for a big event.
The owner loves to travel and has curated furniture and art that gives the house a unique vibe of one of her favorite places - Palm Springs, California.
Mid century modern furniture complements the architectural style of the house. Two large open windows in the den brings light to the the spacious, natural feel of the home.
Quality furnishings like leather couches, cozy bedding and a baby grand piano make for an intimate gathering space and a relaxing get away. The bedrooms have black-out window treatments providing darkness essential to a good night's rest. There are two bedrooms with private bathrooms - one has a tub and shower and the other has a stand-up shower. Additionally, a den space steps down from the dining room and has a couch that easily converts to a bed and becomes the third bedroom.
The half-bath can be used by guests who sleep in the third bedroom. For guests who need one extra bed, the living room couch folds out as well. The kitchen is equipped for preparing food and also has plenty of counter space for take-out meals. You will enjoy the designer OXO drip coffee maker and alkaline water filter allowing for a range of PH level preferences.
There is an enclosed porch space that leads from the kitchen to the backyard. The backyard is fenced in and has beautiful trees for privacy - you can enjoy the outdoor surroundings on the patio table and chairs.
