  • Adorable house with all the essentials

"Great little house in a perfect location for a beach getaway. The house is adorable inside, decorated in a shabby-chic beach theme with plenty of space for our 4 families (10 people total) to hang out, cook and relax. The host has gone to great lengths to make sure everything you'll need is there - toilet paper, plates, utensils, spices for cooking, mini toiletries, hair dryers, laundry essentials, board games, books and movies. There is wifi powerful enough for tons of devices, but we weren't able to stream Netflix on the TV with the device we brought, so bring DVDs for the kids instead. Also helpful to know, one of the bathrooms is between two bedrooms - which could be tricky with late sleepers or napping babies - so having the second bathroom in the back was really great. Overall we are very very happy with our stay and plan to return to Gulfport again next summer! Thanks, Beth!"

  • The stay was more than we expected!

"The condo and the property were fantastic. Nancy made sure we had everything we needed, right down to the laundry soap, razors and even extra toothbrushes if you needed them. The beach was well taken care of and there are no words to describe the view of the beach from the condo. The condo was stocked with beach chairs, umbrella and toys to play in the sand. This is a very quiet, family friendly place, if you're looking for something with a little action or beach activities it's best to stay closer to Biloxi. We brought our 4 year old grandson with us, he was only interested in the large swimming pool which provided equal amounts of sun and shade. It was litterly the best part of the stay~ so relaxing and just deep enough on one end for him to play in with the other children. It was about as worry free and you can get with a swimming pool. It's a bit of a drive to a grocery store, as long as you know that before you get there, and come with your groceries, you won't even miss it. The condo had a good assortment of spices as well as refrigerated condiments. One last thing that I want to mention was the scrapbooks Nancy provided telling the history of Pass Cristian and the storms that it has experienced. Often you stay in places without giving the history a second thought, it was a very nice touch and made us feel proud to spend our money in a community that has truly been through so much! She also provided detailed reviews of the local eating establishments that we found to be very helpful. We would definitely stay again. It was our first time using the HomeAway site and didn't realize that we needed to check messages using the App so the payment stuff was a bit confusing."

  • Great Vacation Get-A-Way

"My family and I stayed here July 7-10. We had a great time! Property is very nice and clean. The pool was great and very large which my 8 yr old could have stayed in the whole trip. Close to many things to do while there. Paula was very responsive to my messages and a sweet lady. I saw many reviews regarding the train. It did not bother us at all. In fact, my 2 year old absolutely loved it. It didn't wake us up any in the middle of the night. Great property and would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great Rental Property

"This place had everything we needed in a vacation rental. It has plenty of space, all the indoor necessities, a beautiful in-ground pool and patio area, large fenced in yard for pets, and a great location to get to and from the beach area and main highways. On top of that, it is beautiful and well-maintained inside and has DirecTV and AT&T Wifi for rainy days. There is only one bathroom, and the tub is very high to get into with no railing to use. That was an issue with us because we had some seniors with us, but we still made it work. There is a Wal-Mart just a couple miles from this location, which was very convenient. The area was good. The beaches and ocean, as you've seen in other reviews, is kind of nasty-looking. You have to go out pretty far to actually get deep in the water, and the sand/silt makes the water brown. Our kids (8 & 12) loved it, though, because they would rather look for sea creatures than swim. We found tons of shrimp, fish, and hermit crabs to examine, as well as plenty of shells. I liked the lack of crowds on the beach. We also spent time up in Gulfport and Biloxi for activities. The kids really liked going on a shrimp boat and seeing them catch & release a net full of animals. That was made better by a couple of dolphins that swam along side the boat for a while. Of course, there were many great seafood restaurants up Ocean Blvd. We had a very memorable meal at the Half-Shell Oyster House in Gulfport. Overall, a great vacation at a great location."
