  • Better than a hotel

"If you are a couple looking for a clean, quiet place to spend a few nights then this is a great option. This is a one bedroom with a fold out couch located at the back end of the property. Although it is near train tracks (which I thought was neat since I like trains) this is not an issue. I think two trains came by each night we were there and I only heard them briefly since I was up. My wife never heard them and she is a light sleeper. Don't let this be a deterrent. There is a full fridge, silverware, cups, plates, a dishwasher, coffee maker (filter kind) microwave, and pretty much whatever you would have at home. Mr. Cooper replied quickly to my requests and was easy to work with. The location is across from Shaggy's restaurant and the gift shop with the giant shark mouth. We were in between Treasure Bay Casino (about 1.5 miles away) and Beau Rivage on the other side a couple of miles away just as a reference point. Easy access to everything. We will return if able."

  • Romantic weekend

"My husband and I were lucky enough to find this gem. It is perfectly appointed, completely private and is everything I could have asked for and more. The property has an amazing view of the mighty Mississippi from the porch where you will likely have your morning coffee. If you venture out at sunset rest assured Ms. Carol has insect spray in the kitchen so you won't be bothered by the mosquitoes. The owners have literally thought of everything. There were binoculars for bird watching, suggestions for restaurants, a variety of breakfast and snack items and so much more. The sun porch is perfect for a good book or a nap. I took advantage of the claw foot tub after sight seeing and hubby enjoyed not missing the football game on the TV. Thank you so much Ms. Carol for sharing your slice of heaven with us for our anniversary!!"

  • Cottage Hideaway at the Beach

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Camellia Cottage!! Jeannie has gone out of her way to create a magical little hidden gem. The house, itself, is perfect for 2 people and 2 dogs. Which is great because that's how we travel. Please pay attention to all of the detail of the property. From the beautiful crystals hanging in the beautiful live oak that greets you in the driveway to the beautiful glass stones sprinkled into the gravel path, you just won't believe that a place like this exists. The home and property are well maintained and clean. The decor is just perfect (I wanted to steal the cool lamp with the old-school beach town shade). We live in vacation homes full-time and have rented 19 homes in the past 17 months. None have been more magically creative like Camellia. This isn't just a home, it's an experience. We absolutely recommend that you rent here and make sure to have dinner with Jeannie while you're here. How can you not love a fellow dog lover? Things to do: walk the beautiful neighborhood including the old cemetery, walk or drive to the beach, eat all-you-can-eat sushi at Ichiban (just around the corner) spend a day in Biloxi or Gulfport, have a massage or facial at the Red Lily, drive to Mobile and check out the battleship, or just sit on you patio and enjoy your private little piece of heaven. We'll be back!!"

  • Quiet, secluded home. Sleeps a lot.

"We enjoyed our stay at Pickwick. Jared was great to work with and very accommodating. Our very large family met here for Thanksgiving - lots of places to sleep. Beautiful views of the lake."
