  • Beautiful

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. The views were beautiful, the building was clean and well maintained, and the unit had all of the amenities that we needed to enjoy our stay for the week. Have already booked for next year!"

  • What an amazin house and Host!

"Skip was a great host! On really short notice I had to stay in South MS for the weekend to see customers on Monday. I called several places and they would not have their rental ready till sometime on Saturday. I spoke with Skip on the phone, he was cleaning his rental as we spoke. Skip invited me down to take a look. What a wonderful view from the back deck, we talked and Skip let me stick around while he cleaned up everything. I went to the store and picked up some beer and enjoyed the view. When Skip finished cleaning I offerd him a beer and we found out that we are the same age and have a lot in common. I told him my wife was coming down Sunday and I was just going to relax and do some catchup on work stuff Saturday. Can you believe he showed up with his boat Saturday morning, we loaded up and he gave me a tour of the river that is behind the house. We ended up meeting his friends and having lunch at one of the local casinos. I cant say enough good things about my host and the house is awesome! Nothing like sitting in a hot tub drinking a beer and watching an amazeing sunset!!!!!! On a side note while I was at Skips house I found a house two doors down. We will be closing at the end of November. What a great area, If you own a boat you have got to check Skips place out!!!!"

  • A wonderful place in Bay St. Louis.

"This was our third time back - twice to Latitude Adjustment and this time to Southern Comfort. Very clean and comfortable with easy access to old town, golf courses, and a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Joey is most welcoming and helpful."

  • Cozy and Comfortable Cottage!!

"We really enjoyed staying at the Sea Turtle this vacation! We had more than enough space for our family of 4 and really appreciated being able to bring our dog along as well. It was clean and the decor made you feel right at home as soon as you stepped through the door. We loved all of the antique furniture, the decorative 'beach' touches throughout, and the piano which we had fun playing every day. It was stocked with everything we needed for our week. The area was great. We spent many days on the beach in Gulfport and Long Beach. We drove to the beach every day, though it would not have been a bad walk at all. It was hot and we had a lot of stuff to take and with plenty of parking it didn't make sense to lug it all when we could just drive and park where we wanted. The best beach was Ship Island. The ferry ride was fun, the beach was beautiful, and the water was clearer than the other beaches we were on. We searched for shells and it was fun to watch the blue crabs scurry away as you walked up to them as we had never seen anything like that before. Would recommend just renting the umbrellas and chairs they have there as it's a little walk to the beach from the pier where you're let off. Tony's Brick Oven Pizzeria was excellent downtown and we appreciated the gift certificate Beth left for us when we got there. That was very thoughtful and was a nice treat after a long drive to get there! We also ate at Steve's Marina Restaurant one night (really good and sat outside on the balcony) and Shaggy's (sat on the balcony-fun, but we weren't as crazy about the food here..) We visited the Gulfport outlet mall one day and Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis' home) and the Katrina Memorial; both in Biloxi. New Orleans was a little over an hour away so that made for a fun and enjoyable day trip. I have always wanted to go there and it did not disappoint; food, music, shopping, and people. All in all, this trip was fantastic and there were so many different things to do and see. And lastly, if you go, get up early and do not miss the sunrises' at Gulfport Harbor. They are beautiful and what a way to start the day........ No regrets! We would stay here again if we ever get back to the area. Thanks for creating such a relaxing and comfy space, Beth!"
