  • Beautiful home on a quiet beach

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Seaglass. As another reviewer mentioned, the pictures don't do it justice. The home is beautifully decorated, spotless and comfortable. The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. Renter tips:You will be provided with an initial set up of paper products, so a trip into the local WalMart for groceries and supplies is a must. Also, there is a sleeper sofa which isn't mentioned in the listing. This was good to know since we have a couple of older boys who weren't interested in sharing a bed! My only word of "caution" is that it is very secluded and the closest stores and restaurants are 15-20 min away. If you're a family who likes to be constantly on the go, likes attractions like mini golf, waterparks, etc to be close by, or even gathering shells on the beach, then this would not be the ideal place for you. However, if you like to get away from it all, and have a completely peaceful and uncrowded setting, then Seaglass is perfect. Because our weather was chilly, we just piled everyone in the car and went on a shrimp boat in Biloxi (pretty cool!), to a Gator Farm in Pascagoula and also to Jefferson Davis' retirement home. There's plenty to do if you've willing to drive a little while. We had a great time and throughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking to get away from it all in Mississippi!"

  • Fantastic! Very comfortable and conveniently located.

"We had a great time at "The Land Where The Blues Began". We stayed 4 nights and found the cottage very comfortable. The beds were comfy and all the linen pristine. The kitchen is well fitted out and the washing machine and dryer work well. The air-conditioning works very well also. The owners were great to deal with and communicated promptly. Would recommend it to anyone!"

  • Great Rental Property

"This place had everything we needed in a vacation rental. It has plenty of space, all the indoor necessities, a beautiful in-ground pool and patio area, large fenced in yard for pets, and a great location to get to and from the beach area and main highways. On top of that, it is beautiful and well-maintained inside and has DirecTV and AT&T Wifi for rainy days. There is only one bathroom, and the tub is very high to get into with no railing to use. That was an issue with us because we had some seniors with us, but we still made it work. There is a Wal-Mart just a couple miles from this location, which was very convenient. The area was good. The beaches and ocean, as you've seen in other reviews, is kind of nasty-looking. You have to go out pretty far to actually get deep in the water, and the sand/silt makes the water brown. Our kids (8 & 12) loved it, though, because they would rather look for sea creatures than swim. We found tons of shrimp, fish, and hermit crabs to examine, as well as plenty of shells. I liked the lack of crowds on the beach. We also spent time up in Gulfport and Biloxi for activities. The kids really liked going on a shrimp boat and seeing them catch & release a net full of animals. That was made better by a couple of dolphins that swam along side the boat for a while. Of course, there were many great seafood restaurants up Ocean Blvd. We had a very memorable meal at the Half-Shell Oyster House in Gulfport. Overall, a great vacation at a great location."
