Perfect location to various wineries, parks and breweries! Our dog loved the large outside area in the back and had plenty of room to lay around or run in the sun. Easy to find…cozy and cute! Perfect for our weekend getaway.
The property was great! Clean and pet friendly. Perfect for a family of 3. It was located near plenty of fun things to do. Would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Poconos. We had a lovely little get away! And the property manager was great at communicating and very informative about what was in the area.
This was the perfect place to stay for our short visit to the Poconos. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was nice having the option to make a meal there using th grill and stove. The area was very quiet and easy to access the places we visited. Great communication with the host! Very enjoyable stay!
My wife and I had a great visit at this cottage in the Poconos. It’s equidistant from NYC and Philadelphia, about and hour and a half. We stayed 10 days and saw and amazing number of sites. Host was very attentive. Highly recommend!
The sofa bed to watch tv is very uncomfortable you can feel the frame on your butt, would not want to sleep on it.
The security chains on exterior doors were installed backwards. The hot and cold water in kitchen are reversed. Overall nice quaint place to stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Very neat and clean, but there's always something...
We had a very pleasant stay because I knew what to expect. Still, numerous disappointments: We couldn't walk the path down to the stream after it rained because the brush was so overgrown we would've gotten soaked. There was no hairdryer although it was listed. Shower curtain was too short and caused wet floor, also it was very dirty and stained at the bottom and should be replaced. In kitchen the spices, sugar and coffee listed were ancient and should be disposed of. Futon in sitting area was VERY uncomfortable to sit on for TV, and two beanbag chairs were OK but too low & KID-sized. Bed was extremely soft but still comfortable for sleep. We wished there was a bench or low shelf in closet to set suitcases on. Early on we notified owner of active yellowjacket nest under back deck, so we couldn't use that area (or the back door or the grill). We did say it was not "urgent", but we would have expected it be dealt with before Day 3 checkout. Lastly, VRBO is ridiculous with FEES; I HATED the mandatory Breakage Insurance $$ that popped up when booking, I almost didn't book. The chain hotels on Route 80 would have been a better value.
Super cozy, great location, attentive host- we'll be back
In full transparency, we arrived to the cabin and it wasn't cleaned from the last guests. I called Besik directly to advise him of the condition of the cabin. Immediately he put into action to making it right. In less than 20 mins the cleaning company arrived and went right to work.
We were not inconvenienced at all from this boo boo; we actually welcomed the time to relax at the gazebo in the back while our 2 dogs just went wild in the huge grassy "meadow," smelling all the smells and just getting their zoomies out.
The owners of the cleaning company, Mike and Natalie, came out personally to apologize, which I thought was a really nice touch.
The rest of our stay was without further incident. We were able to relax and feel apart from the crowdedness and concrete heat of Philadelphia. Check in and check out was easy. Loved that there was French Press to use. Bed was really soft, you sink into it, but it gave good support. The AC in the bedroom was really nice since it was in the high 80s the 2 days we were there.
Internet is fast. Water pressure ample. One bone to pick: The deadbolt digital keypad on the outside is not lit, so you can't see the numbers at all at night.
The trail in back to the creek, falls off pretty quick and is all down hill. The Canopy of trees is pretty dense so it acts like a lid trapping all the heat; cooling breezes are non-existent the entire hike. The hike back up was very challenging in the heat, and on the glutes. Bring lots of water.
