Built in 1951, our Edinburgh Cottage, is a must see, must stay cottage. We are conveniently, located in the historical Southdown area of the red stick state in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are a short walking distances to the Sprouts Farmers Market, 1.9 miles from the LSU Lakes; 3.0 miles from LSU Campus; 3.3 miles from Tiger Stadium & Alex Box Stadium; & 4.6 miles from downtown Baton Rouge. Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Set thermostat/ Air conditioner to 78 degrees during HOT months OR set the thermostat/ heater to 60 degrees during the COLD months.
Place the used towels in tub/shower.
Wash any dishes that were not placed in the dishwasher.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The Edinburgh Cottage was a wonderful place for 4 ladies and a baby to overnight. We thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome by Simon the cat and the raccoon. The home was very clean and beds comfortable. We felt safe and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edinburgh cottage because the place is clean and comfortable. It also is convenient to shopping and restaurants and a good neighborhood for taking a walk. We were visiting relatives nearby, and the house suited us very nicely.

The Edinburgh Cottage was very close to the Auberge Casino and Elsie’s restaurant. It was comfortable and clean. We will stay there again for our future upcoming Baton Rouge visits.

We booked this for a family wedding. It was within 15 minutes of the church and reception. The house was adorable! It was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed plus more. Simon greeted us with purrs and enjoyed neck scratches. We even had a visit from the neighborhood raccoon. I hope to return for future events!
