Perfect for the week

Found this place last minute for a trip down to McAllen and it was great! Inside was clean, comfortable, nicely updated and quiet. Located close to shopping and other amenities. Great having kitchen to make small meals and bathroom even had blow dryer just like a hotel! We’ll definitely stay there again.

Very nice, spacious, and clean apartment. Close to shopping areas and restaurants. The host is so kind and is quick to respond to any of your messages/calls and requests.

Family Reunion

When I saw the online pictures, I loved the look of the place. It was clean and comfortable. Fit our needs perfectly! It was super close to all our family events and family. There were plenty of eateries and stores near by, within walking distance. Nikkia was very accommodating to our needs as we ended up needing to stay one more night. The housekeeper was friendly and respectful of us and our needs. Parking in the assigned spots was great, but we had two parking spots under the carport and we only needed one, plus there was parking up front if needed. I would book again to stay there.

I didn’t feel safe !!! So disappointed!!!

The property is like a four-plex very close together . The surrounding area did not look safe . My family included myself , and my 2 sons (ages 15, 11) . Walking on the walkway to enter the property ,the people who live across from us had the music blasting. Outside of property had a foul smell. When we entered inside the property the door knob entrance was loose, I felt like someone could just kick that door open. I am a women with 2 young boys and I was not willing to risk the safety of my kids . The hall vent was very dirty. So I contacted the owner and told her my concerns. I was not comfortable staying at her property. She try to reassure me that we would be ok , but am I just suppose to take her word ? I left the property having to look for hotel . I’ve contacted Nikki about getting a refund since I didn’t stay. She stated the she adheres to the cancellation policy in place by VBRO. So I’m not getting any type of refund because I didn’t cancel 7 days prior to my stay. I am so disappointed, a customer states valid reasons for not staying and the response I adhere to VBRO cancellation policy . Wow!! Really !!! The pictures about this property are all pictures of inside the apartment. I am so disappointed, I’m in disbelief.

Emergency trip to RGV

Our family had to make an emergency trip to the RGV for a funeral. I found this amazing apartment that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. This is truly a home away from home. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of five that included our two adult sons and teenage son. Thank you to the owners for their wonderful hospitality and allowing us to stay in their apartment during this difficult time for our family. I will certainly keep this in mind for our future trips under better circumstances.

A Blessing

When we arrived we were so tired that we honestly went straight to bed! In the morning when we woke up (which we slept comfortable in the king size bed), we were able to look around the apartment. It was small but HUGE!! Very roomy, clean,nice & at the same time we felt at home & safe. The hosts have thought of everything for their guests! The apartment was close to everything. To our families, stores, restaurants & malls. Thank you for everything!! It was home away from home & we will be returning soon! Yours truly, The Flores Family
