Stunning Beachfront Villa Azul Celeste in Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Villa, 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 6 adults privately)

Villa Azul Celeste is located directly above the sea, on the Bay of Banderas and offers incredible ocean vistas and a personal staff to make your stay carefree. The courtyard entry leads to an exquisitely furnished spacious villa with 4,000 square feet of interior space and an additional 2,000 square feet of terraces, gardens and a heated infinity edge pool. Traditional Mexican furniture and art graces the terra cotta floors and antique hand-hewn beamed ceilings hand overhead. The villa has recently been lovingly restored with attention to every detail. With the addition of new folk artwork and electronic upgrades guests will delight in all the comforts Villa Azul Celeste offers.

The primary suite on the top floor is spectacular with a king bed, fireplace and a cupola shower open and overlooking the sea. The primary suite also has a custom built rancho style twin size daybed. The two guest bedrooms are poolside. One has a king bed and large garden bath with a sculptured rock formation and tropical plants. The other has a king bed, space for 2 twin beds if desired, and a large private bath. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Location is 5 minutes from town. Just past the Hyatt Ziva Resort but before Garza Blanca. Many taxis just up the elevator at street level. Local number provided to call taxi.

Delta offers service from Atlanta, Salt Lake City and seasonally from Detroit, Los Angeles and Minneapolis/St. Paul; American flies direct from Dallas and Phoenix and seasonally to Chicago and San Francisco. United is direct from Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, and Newark. Alaska Airlines jets to Los Angeles, Seattle, and seasonally San Diego. Southwest has several choices including John Wayne and Phoenix. Villa Azul Celeste is even in better in person! We were blown away when we first arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views of the ocean. But the best part? The Staff! Maria, Juan and Flor were so good to us and spoiled us all week and make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. This was a dream trip for your family and it was one we will remember forever. We can’t wait to come back!!

Most relaxing vacation place perched between the sky and the sea

The villa is more spacious and more comfortable than the pictures can show. It’s easy to spend time together in the living room or by the pool or find privacy if one craves it. The views are stunning: with whales, manta rays, pelicans, and other wildlife right off your terrace. The terrace and the pool are filled with sunlight in the afternoon, which makes it perfect for reading a book or sipping a coffee in the mornings with no need for sunscreen. We stayed nine nights in the villa and we had one of the most relaxing vacations ever. Especially, since the staff (Juan Jose, Maria, and Flor) made us feel pampered like royalty. The food was super tasty, healthy, colorful, and abundant; the cleaning service was discreet and at a high standard; anything else that we needed was taken care of immediately and well. We can’t wait to return in the future!

Exceeding Expectations

Wow, what a place! The villa and its location were fabulous. Easy and quick ride to downtown and all it has to offer. The staff (Maria, Flor and Juan Jose) were nothing short of spectacular. And our host, Brandon, was great to communicate with and so responsive. Without a doubt we would recommend this villa and Puerto Vallarta as a wonderful place to spend a week or longer.

Breathtaking villa and views, and amazing staff!

We spent a week in this lovely villa for my 50th birthday in mid-December. The villa itself was stunning in every way - beautifully designed, furnished, and located on open oceanfront with incredible views. The decor and art work all throughout were beautiful and quite amazing, really. The staff were the ones who made the entire week so special. Maria is an awesome cook and has the sweetest spirit and presence. Her smile lights up a room. Juan Jose was so kind, fun, willing to help with anything and go out of his way to do so, and he makes the BEST margaritas! Flor had a quiet, gentle presence and was genuinely kind, helpful, and amazing in her work as she was so thorough in cleaning. Having clean folded laundry every day was such an added bonus, making this place and stay over the top. Each of them went above and beyond every day to make our stay at Azul Celeste spectacular, and it was. All three of them as well as the concierge, Paty, were there on the morning of my birthday and helped my family and friends decorate the dining area, surprising me when I came down for breakfast. And then my fam and friends surprised me even more by hiring a full 8-piece mariachi band to come and play. Maria knew them and she and Juan Jose helped arrange this most amazing birthday surprise. And the band - by far the best any of us had ever heard - gave us a 45 minute concert, all during breakfast. The master bedroom was beyond any and all expectations, especially with that amazing outdoor shower and plenty of space to spread out. The pool area was so nice we spent half of the week just hanging out in and around it, looking out at the water and seeing whales, dolphins, stingrays, and turtles. Everything was perfect except for one piece which was completely out of everyone's control: the beach that had been there was washed away during the hurricane that took place two months prior to our arrival. So we had to drive to one close by (Juan Jose "JJ" as my husband nicknamed him, offered to take us more than once). We were only 8 minutes from the Romantic Zone when anyone wanted to go into town and shop, but once at the villa, it felt like we were miles and worlds away from the craziness of the city. It was heaven. I will never forget the sweet staff, the gorgeous villa, the yummy food, the mariachi band. This place is 5 star in every way. Thank you all so much for making my 50th birthday so special!

Exceptional vacation of a lifetime

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Azul Celeste. The property is beautiful and the sounds/views of the ocean were incredible. The staff were amazing and attentive to our every need. Maria's cooking was so good we actually regretted leaving the villa to go to some restaurants for dinner in PV. We enjoyed relaxing in the infinity pool and also being able to snorkel and kayak in what felt like our own private beach. We will absolutely be looking to come back and visit again in the future.

One of the most amazing vacation experiences ever!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa Azul Celeste . The villa is located in an amazing spot perched on a cliff overlooking the Bay of Banderas. The views are AMAZING. The villa is wonderfully decorated and yet feels so comfortable and authentically Mexican from top to bottom. We had the best time swimming, lounging by the pool, eating Maria's (the cook) delicious cooking and exploring the wonderful town of Puerto Vallarta. And although you are up above the beach looking out at the Bay, there is a set of stairs that leads you down to a wonderful beach. I enjoyed it so much I made a point to go out swimming in the ocean every day we were there. The Villa is immaculate and beautiful Flor (one of the other staff members) makes sure your laundry is clean every day and that your room and bathroom are spotless! The owner, Sharon, is very responsive and helpful with any request or question you might have and the Concierge set us up with the perfect day excursion out on the water. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this special villa and we want to say how much we love this place! We will return. THAT IS FOR SURE!! I would certainly recommend Villa Azul Celeste to friends and family!

Wonderful experience

We had New Zealanders who were experienced travelers, not so experienced Americans, and us repeaters in our group. Everyone fell in love with the house staff, Mari, Flor, Juan, and Raul. We used Uber, taxis, and the local buses (Juan was nice enough to wait for the bus with us to make sure we got on ok) for transportation around town. Mari's cooking was amazing as always and she was kind enough to do a cooking class for us. Katia was very helpful in planning activities that suited everyone and very quick to respond to any questions we had. She was very knowledgeable about restaurants to eat in town and places to visit around PV. The house staff was very accommodating to the guests in our party with particular needs . They've never had such an experience before and will never forget it. The New Zealanders were planning a 60th birthday family celebration in Bali, where they usually vacation, but are going to talk their family in to having the celebration at the villa instead.

Outstanding

I was reluctant to review this property so I could ensure that I would have no problem booking it again, however Sharon and her incredible staff deserve great praise. This property is absolutely wonderful from every aspect and even though the pictures alone sold me on this house, the actual experience far exceeded our expectations. The staff, Maria, Flor, Juan and Raul took care of our every need and again exceeded our expectations. We had fully expected to sample some of the restaurants in the area however after experiencing Maria's lovely personality and genius food preparation set in the most incredible dining room, we never left the house for a meal. Inside and out this property was maintained perfectly without disturbing our stay. Juan would make us the best Margaritas every day and serve them poolside, and he was always available to go to town to pick up some necessities day or night. Somehow Flor managed to clean every bedroom perfectly without ever seeing her do it, and our personal clothing was laundered and folded neatly in our bedrooms daily, and Raul was always there when you needed him. We have traveled to many exotic destinations and stayed in many upscale properties but this one will never be forgotten. We will be returning Thank you Sharon, Maria, Flor, Juan, and Raul. See you soon

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

To Sharon and to the entire staff at Celeste thank you for an amazing 10 days. Traveling with a baby can be challenging and sometimes relaxing is difficult ... But the Villa is a perfect option for a family with a young child! Our baby slept in the guest room downstairs leading to the pool area while we enjoyed the pool and sun while keeping an eye on him. The staff was so accommodating! Maria's cooking was excellent and we enjoyed everything! She also did all of our shopping which was marvelous so we had more time to spend relaxing. Flor the housekeeper managed to get every single stain out of my baby's clothing!!! So appreciated having clean clothing during our trip . The views from all rooms in the house are stunning! Raul and Juan were wonderful as well, there to help with anything we needed from picking up something for the fridge we were running low on, adjusting the pool temp and so much more. Having a private beach was great. We love privacy and having only a few people to share the beach with was heaven. Guests also have access to kayaks and snorkeling gear which my husband loved! This is not our first time in PV but it is truly our favorite! We already miss it! We plan to return! Highly recommended ... No need to think about it ...just book and enjoy!!

Perfect week at Stunning Villa Azul Celeste

Villa Azul Celeste was everything that we had hoped for - beautiful and luxurious home with plenty of space for all, stunning views of the ocean from all levels, easy access to a very private beach, and a staff that took care of all of our needs and desires. Maria cooked up such fabulous meals for us daily that our children didn't want to go into town at all; Raul and Flor kept the villa clean at all times; and Juan was the best who was always there to help with anything, whether it was launching kayaks out to the ocean, grabbing an ice box with drinks for an afternoon at the beach, getting an extra bottle of special tequila or beer from town, etc., etc. We had the most relaxing week of eating well, lounging at the pool, visiting the beach, and enjoying this spectacular villa and vista. We absolutely hope to return!! Thank you, Sharon, for sharing your stunning villa with us.

Beautiful Villa Azul Celeste!

All of us absolutely loved our short stay at Villa Azul Celeste! Everything was perfect from the location in the south zone, beautifully designed and spacious villa, unique interior decor, splendid open air shower off the master bedroom, sensational infinity pool with a view, comfortable king size beds, superb friendly and helpful staff, excellent meals prepared twice daily, and gorgeous weather...it was the most perfect stay we've ever had! I didn't want to leave

I am SO happy that we decided to stay at Villa Azul Celeste. We vacation regularly and by the end of our vacation I am always ready to go home - not this time. I truly wanted to stay and live at the villa forever! It felt like home immediately when we walked in. The staff is FANTASTIC! Maria is an excellent cook and so agreeable. She will get you whatever you request and provide you with the receipts. Flor kept the villa clean and did our laundry every day! Juan and Raul were so friendly and really kept the pool and outside areas very comfortable. I really cannot stay enough about them. I've been home for only a few days and already want to book another vacation. Stay during whale season and you can regularly see whales from the living areas and pool area. It's amazing. Thank you for everything Maria, Flor, Juan, and Raul! We will be back!

Beautiful villa, Amazing staff, Mexican Paradise

We had a wonderful week at Villa Azul Celeste. The villa is beautifully decorated in a traditional Mexican motif. Sharon (the owner) was very helpful responding to questions about local attractions and restaurants. All three bedrooms are spacious with wonderful views of the ocean and/or infinity edge pool. The palatial master suite includes an enormous bathroom with a private open air shower overlooking the Pacific. There is access to a small private beach with snorkeling directly in front of the villa. The staff is AMAZING, so friendly and accommodating; Maria created the daily menus with our guidance and prepared delicious meals, Flora tidied up our bedrooms, and Juan and Raul assisted with meals and daily upkeep of the villa. The location is very private but only a short drive to town. The bedrooms are air-conditioned while the public areas are open air; fans are provided, but for those travelers sensitive to heat I would recommend avoiding the hotter months.

Cannot Imagine Staying Anywhere Else in PV

I booked this villa nearly 2 years before going away for our 10 year anniversary. As we drove from the airport to the villa, I was suddenly nervous that I didn't do enough research (I did an obscene amount of research) ... and what if it wasn't everything we had hoped for our big, romantic, celebratory trip ALONE, away from our twins. As we pulled up, Juan was there to greet us and threw my 60+lb bag on his bag and went down the steps. This in itself was insanely impressive.When we walked into Villa Azul Celeste I felt like I could exhale. It is amazing. It is everything you would want your own Mexican villa to look like. It is the perfect, luxurious representation of the surroundings it nestles itself within. Maria, the house chef, is not only incredibly sweet, she is also extremely talented in the kitchen! Every meal prepared was fantastic and authentic. We treasured our meals in, enjoying not only her cooking but also getting to know her better. And really, everyone that works at the villa is extremely kind and helpful. Every room in the home is beautiful and offers an incredible view. I've never taken more showers than I have at Villa Azul Celeste. The master bathroom offers an open air shower that will leave you never wanting to go home. There is not one bad thing to say. Our 10 year anniversary could not have been anymore romantic and we hope to return with the kids next time. If you are on the fence, jump on over!! It will NOT disappoint.

Awesome villa with stunning views!

The location, layout, amenities and customer service were beyond our (party of 6) expectations! A very beautiful, clean and well-maintained property. We have already recommended the villa to other people. There are several good restaurants in PV. One we enjoyed was Barcelona Tapas. Delicious dinner with an excellent view! We enjoyed diving and snorkeling at Islas Marietas with Silenr World Divers.

The Dream Mexican Villa on the Beach!

Villa Azul Celeste is absolutely one of the most beautiful ocean homes in the perfect location just outside of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Villa Azul Celeste PV

One of the best PV vacations ever ! So very comfortable and relaxing. We were impressed with the food quality as well as the bedding and linens. Having your laundry done daily was a real treat. Such a very comfortable atmosphere and the staff could not have been more welcoming. the Mexican folk art throughout the villa was fabulous ! So happy to have made the choice to stay at villa Azul celeste.

Simply Stunning!

The villa was positively perfect. Beautiful wall art, beautiful decorative accent pieces scattered about on beautiful, handmade tables contribute to the ambience. The kitchen had an amazing assortment of beautiful glassware, dishes and pottery which was enjoyed at breakfast and dinner daily. The seating areas in every room....including bedrooms, dining areas, living areas and pool areas were very comfortable. The villa's interior was beautiful and comfortable and rivaled only by the views of nature from every balcony and the ocean from the pool area. Our every need was met by Flor, Juan and Raul.....they were most accommodating without being intrusive......so very pleasant and warm and gracious! Maria, the cook prepared wonderful meals everyday. The presentation was so beautiful,we found ourselves scrambling for our IPhones or iPads or cameras to take a picture of every meal before we ate. Truly a wonderful holiday! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Does not get better!

I cannot brag about this place enough. One of our favorites! Outstanding views. One more step and you fall into the ocean. This house on a cliff with a negative edge pool. SO cool. The amenities are outstanding and plentiful. Don’t go out to eat as the chefs cooking will blow you away. The house staff is incredible. They will get you whatever you require. Having a private beach made us feel like rock stars. White sands and warm water. We travel a lot and this place blows everything else out of the ocean. Don’t tell anyone!! SIX stars!

The vacation of a lifetime...

Our experience at Azul Celeste was beyond any experience we have had in our many years of traveling. The ambiance of the elegant rustic villa, combined with the open views of the ocean and a private pool were exquisite. The meals prepared by the staff were better than we have eaten on cruise ships and five star hotels. The cleanliness and security of the villa were top notch. One thing we really appreciated was how well the air conditioning worked. We have stayed at other locations in Puerto Vallarta and in Mexico and that has not always been the case. We plan on returning every year.

"WHERE HEAVEN MEETS EARTH"...Serene, Tropical, Breathtaking, Dreamy, Luxurious, Pampering, Exciting, Relaxing, Sunny, Scenic, Warm, Long Awaiting, TOO SHORT! are only a few words that describe VILLA AZUL CELESTE Purerto Vallarta Mexico! Not sure this vacation can be topped, amazing staff, fabulous beds and bedding, your own cook Maria.....everyone loves Maria!...oh let me not forget to mention the best margaritas ever! After starting our family in Boston, then living in Mexico City for a time, we decided to settle at the base of the beautiful Utah mountains, where we enjoy skiing in the winter, and hiking and mountain biking spring through fall. We love to travel the world as a family, and Mexico feels very much like home to us. We love the people, we love how the jungle meets the sea in Puerto Vallarta, we love the access to the ocean and the whole new world we are able to explore. And of course, we love the tacos!

Our first visit to Villa Azul Celeste had us instantly amazed. The home is exquisite, and the views absolutely will take your breath away. We love the access to the very secluded beach, kayaking and snorkeling from the villa, watching the whales from the infinity edge pool, and enjoying the lovely outdoor shower. The full time staff make our every stay incredibly special.
