Great stay!

We had a great stay at Peter's apartment in LA. Great location for our purpose, being close to the Convention Center and restaurants. The apartment was great, clean and modern. The rooftop pool was a very nice feature as well. Peter was an excellent host, very organized, great communication and available whenever we had questions. I can definitely recommend this place.

My Husband and 15yo daughter drove up from San Diego to LA to see a concert at the Belasco Theater which was literally a 5min walk from this condo. This is a gentrified neighborhood, so sketchy but safe yeah?

Great little apartment

This was my first VRBO experience and I'm very pleased. The hosts were amazing and very easy to work with. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We were really just there to sleep so it served our purposes. It is a small space. The listing says it will sleep 4, but I wouldn't recommend this space for 4 people. It's really quite perfect for a couple though. Also, we're not familiar with the sounds of 'the big city' which, in this location, can go all night. Besides that, the lobby staff were super friendly, the rooftop patio is really nice, and lots of convenient amenities nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Exactly what we were looking for!

First of all, Peter could not have been more accommodating. He was extremely quick to reply with any questions or needs. Their apartment looks exactly like it does in the pictures: clean, trendy and pretty spacious. It’s in downtown LA so there are tons of places to eat and grab a drink. Using the available parking space was a little tricky but we figured it out fine. We were a little hesitant to book this VRBO because of the heavy deposit but I can confirm that we just got reimbursed fully and it’s only been two days . We would happily book this apartment again! Thanks Peter!

Bizarre owner behavior & uncomfortable bed spoiled an otherwise delightful getaway

The property was in the perfect location for the event we were attending and the inside was clean and well maintained. It was convenient to have access to free parking although it was across the street and we had trouble locating the parking access card. Aside from the bed, the room was comfortable. The bed in the only bedroom was about as comfortable as what you'd find in a pull-out couch. Both my wife and I tossed and turned all night. I woke the next morning to a message from the owner informing us the cleaning crew would be arriving an hour before checkout time, which was really odd. I'm not sure if he was trying to accommodate the early check-in of another party or if the cleaning crew wasn't available later or what. We couldn't clear out that early and didn't want to be in the middle of changing when they arrived so I messaged him back to request they come after the checkout time. He wrote back accusing me of making demands and was beyond rude. I've never felt so unwelcomed by a host in any capacity. Next time I need to stay overnight in LA it won't be at one of his properties, and I advise you avoid this one as well.

DTLA!

We chose this apartment because we had concert tickets at Ace Hotel, right next door! We have anxiety about driving and parking in LA, so a guaranteed parking space was very much appreciated. Modern, comfortable....so glad we headed to the roof for the view and for the hot tub! We will be back to this property for future visits to LA.

Nice comfortable apartment, well furnished and kitchen had everything needed. Peter was extremely responsive and helpful. Parking is a bit of a pain and like much of LA, the neighborhood has its share of homeless. Location was very good for getting to Dodger Stadium.

Every home we list, we live in first. We sleep in the beds, cook in the kitchens, shower in the bathrooms, and spend time in the spaces just like you will. We don’t guess what makes a great stay—we experience it.

Each of our properties is designed to feel like a story. Some are cozy and romantic, others are bright and open, and every single one reflects the personality of its neighborhood. We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into something special, not just another box on a booking site.

We’ve been hosting for years and have welcomed hundreds of guests across multiple cities. Before hosting, we produced live theater in Los Angeles and managed long-term rentals, so hospitality and presentation have always been at the heart of what we do.

Peter’s a fast-talking, opinionated New Yorker. Veronica’s a calm, thoughtful California native. Somehow, it works. We met online in 2013, and we’ve been together ever since. Now we live in the San Fernando Valley with our three dogs—Delilah, Henry, and Norman—who run the house and pretend we work for them.

We take pride in creating spaces that feel warm, cared for, and truly guest-ready. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a month, our goal is to give you the kind of comfort and care we’d want for ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Downtown LA means a lot to us—both personally and as locals who’ve watched it evolve. When Veronica was a little girl, her parents used to bring her to see classic Mexican movies right here in Downtown. Back then, it wasn’t exactly a destination. For years, DTLA had a reputation as a place you passed through—not one you stayed in.

But times have changed. And we’ve proudly made this neighborhood part of our story.

Over the past decade, we’ve watched DTLA rise—literally and figuratively. Historic buildings have been restored, world-class restaurants have moved in, theaters have come back to life, and the streets are full of people from all over the world discovering a whole new side of Los Angeles.

And location-wise? It doesn’t get better. LA is massive and spread out—but from here, you’re almost never more than 20 minutes from anywhere. Hollywood, USC, Beverly Hills, Silver Lake, the beach… all within reach. (Okay, unless it’s rush hour. Then it’s 20 minutes—or two and a half hours. Welcome to LA!)

We chose this spot because it’s the perfect jumping-off point for everything the city has to offer—and we’re proud to share it with our guests.
