Newly renovated condo in 2022 on the 12th floor of the Pelican Beach Resort with breathtaking Gulf Views

Our newly renovated condo is on the 12th floor, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, this 955 sq. ft. condo is located right on the beach with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Pelican Beach Resort is in the heart of Destin right on the beach and very close to many attractions, Destin Marina, Harborwalk and fancy restaurants.

This unit is a 2 Bedroom unit with master bedroom overlooking the gulf. It is a large unit, sleeps 6 and has a washer/dryer inside the unit.

The living room has a BRAND NEW queen sleeper sofa featuring an 8" Cozy Mattress, a new 65” smart TV with breathtaking views of the gulf . The master bedroom has a king-size bed, new 50” smart TV with sliding doors accessing the large balcony with a fabulous ocean view. The second bedroom has 2BRAND NEW twin beds with JAMISON pillow top mattresses with quick access to the second bathroom.

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with NEW stainless steal appliances, granite countertops that is open to the dining and living room area that overlooks the gulf.

Our condo has a key-less entry door lock system, so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay. Your vacation should be relaxing; no more lock outs or lost keys.

We offer a selection of amenity set together with a complimentary welcome package. Startup supply of toilet papers, hand soap in both bathrooms and kitchen, dish liquid, dish sponge, dishwasher tablets, in the kitchen. Towles and wash clothes for each bathroom.

PETS are not allowed per the HOA (no matter how small).

ABOUT THE RESORT:
Pelican Beach Resort is the prime family destination of the area. It is right on the beach with a private beach area with a Tiki Bar and beach service for food and drink. You can rent an umbrella, and chairs at the beach. Hint, Chairs and umbrella does not come with condo rental. It would be best if you are wanting a good spot on the beach to call ahead and reserve beach chairs and umbrella from LA DOLCE VITA 866-651-1869. They also rent paddle boards, kayaks, and bicycles. There's a bike rack by the parking garage. Tiki bar and chair rental is seasonal.

Condo rules and fire code allows for a maximum of 6 people unit.

Check-in is at 4pm, check-out is at 10am.

If you arrive early, feel free to enter into the resort. You can go to the front desk and get your parking pass and resort wristband and enjoy the beach and the pools until check in time arrives. However, we do not allow early check-ins to the unit.

Our condo is managed by Pelican Beach Management, Inc., the on-site management company. Guest Service Desk staff available 24/7. In addition, if there are any issues, we are available by phone /text 24/7.

The Pelican Beach maintenance team is working hard to make sure that the unit is impeccably clean and ready for your stay. During busy season times when we have back to back bookings - your check-in time may vary between 4pm and 6pm. Thank you for understanding!

This is a great condo on an amazing beach. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure return. The property has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs and a great private beach area. The owner was very prompt at responding to any questions i had.

Perfect beach getaway! We’ve been all over Florida, hell we lived there, but never Destin. So glad we took the trip, the condo, resort, beach, and area were exactly what you’re looking for when you think “Florida!” The condo has it all, feels like home. Makes it very easy to get settled and to the beach. Multiple pools, hot tubs, great access to the area, and lots of friendly guests.

The pelican resort and beach was great. Unit was nice, clean, and comfortable for 5 people. Enjoyed everything about the trip. Resort is in walking distance of several restaurants and activities and grocery store. We used Uber to easily get around and DoorDash to get groceries delivery. The onsite cafe and tiki bar was great onsite options also. Highly recommend

Beach chairs

If you want to bring your personal beach chairs you have to sit behind the rentals, which isn’t normally a problem. However, they now have 5 rows of rentals so when you set up your beach chairs, you can’t even see the water.

Great Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time here! Very family friendly, the staff was great. The room was great; had everything we needed as far as utensils, dishes, towels. The location of the condo was awesome! You really don't even need to leave the resort between the cafe and tiki bar. The pools and hot tubs were clean and not crowded. The tiki bar was reasonably priced between drinks and food. The cafe breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced as well. The only 2 complaints we had was that the master beds mattress topper wasn't long enough so either our pillows were down in a divot, or our feet were hanging off. The other complaint had nothing to do with the actual room it was that one elevator was being remodeled so sometimes it took foreverrrrr for an elevator and we were on the 12th floor, so we didn't want to take the steps. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend this condo, we had a great time!

Great Condo

The Condo is just as described, comfortable beds, nice pull-out sofa sleeper. There’s also a 2nd upholstered chair in the Living room area ( not shown in the photo). Everything in good working order. We’ve stayed at 3 or 4 other Pelican Beach Condo units, and this was the nicest one, owing to the owners recent updates and overall upkeep. Pelican Beach has such nice amenities(cafe, multiple swimming pools, Tiki bar) , and will be looking forward to staying at this Unit again.

JACKHAMMERING outside of room- even on Thanksgiving.

The property is very nice and has the potential to be a great vacation destination due to its location on the beach and proximity to local shopping and attractions. However, we were not told ahead of time that there would be construction occurring right outside our condo- including jackhammering and drilling- even on Thanksgiving Day. When we communicated our unhappiness with the property management, they were unsympathetic. Additionally, the facility was unsafe for my elderly mother. Very disappointing

The HOA is waterproofing the building and repairs are being made to the building in result of the waterproofing project. I as an Owner had no idea that they would be working on the building with jackhammers during your stay. They were not going to be working on our condo stack until after your stay. I do apologize for the inconvenience and a refund was given back to you.

Bare bones unit

The check in process was easy though you do have to check in at the lobby before you can park and go to your room. The unit was clean. BUT. I have stayed in dozens of VRBOs and this was by far the most stripped down unit. The kitchen was not well equipped so you will need to bring EVERYTHING. Including salt and pepper. It says the unit was recently updated but it did not seem so. The bathrooms were pretty old, the furniture was extremely stiff and uncomfortable. It says there are new mattresses in one of the rooms but my cousin who stayed in there said the bed felt like sleeping on the floor. My mattress, the King, wasn’t any better. After a week of (not) sleeping well, we are exhausted with really sore backs. The king mattress has a topper but it doesn’t fit the bed so it’s very uncomfortable. Everything in the unit felt extremely cheap including the outdoor furniture. We had hoped to have coffee on the balcony but it was very uncomfortable. The coffee make is very cheap, not automatic. The shower in the hallway has miserably low water pressure so 3 of us ended up sharing one good one. And finally, we assumed the chairs would be included in the rental and all we would need to do reserve some. Nope. 3 chairs and an umbrella was almost 400!! for the week and we were put on the 2nd row. Overall, we went hoping to relax but ended up feeling like I stayed in a dorm. Overall, the unit was clean and the hosts are nice but we were not feeling the hospitality.

Great for any vacation!

I've stayed at this property before in a smaller unit. This unit was very clean with great views. Love the convenience of the café for breakfast and lunch. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love the options for shaded or full sun pools. Love having the umbrella and chair set up for daily rental which makes the day so much easier, especially with young children. This is also close to everything, shopping, grocery, restaurants and indie activities for kids. I will stay here every time we visit Destin!
