Welcome to Sunrise Chalet, a lakeside beauty now available for late spring to fall rentals! Only about 2 hours from NYC, North/Central Jersey and Philly, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath Northern Poconos lakefront home has some of the most stunning views in the area, plus a FLAT walkout to the lake/private dock! Located on Lake Roamingwood in the private Hideout community in the town of Lake Ariel. Even better, the home is located in the mid-section of Roamingwood Lake (considered the most desirable section by many due with its gorgeous views)! NEW custom dock currently being built for the 2026 rental season!


Sunrise Chalet has everything you’re looking for in a Poconos getaway. You can enjoy spectacular lake views from the great room with its soaring knotty pine cathedral ceiling or from the expansive porches (both screened-in and open). Relax in front of the dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone propane gas fireplace in the great room. Take one of the kayaks out on the lake or roast marshmallows at the dockside fire pit. Have a zen moment with the provided yoga mats and accessories, or go downstairs to the game room and try your luck on the four stand-up arcade units or fully loaded classic Nintendo game area. Or, do some bird watching. Keep an eye out for the bald eagle that likes to roost in the tall trees by our dock!


No need to sacrifice modern conveniences, either. These include new split-unit AC system with remote controls; new washer and dryer; new large-capacity water heater; completely-remodeled bathrooms on 1st and 2nd floors; a kitchen with granite counter tops, 2 islands and stainless steel appliances; higher-speed wireless WiFi; and Smart HDTVs in the great room, game room and each bedroom. As a courtesy to our guests, we provide complimentary access to the Sunrise Chalet Netflix, Hulu with Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN+ accounts. The home very uniquely offers additional convenience with a 2023-installed whole-home automatic generator (in the off-chance of a power outage).


The home is in the 24/7 gated Hideout community with numerous amenities offered to guests, including 2 heated outdoor pools, 2 sand beaches with play areas for kids, golf course, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, 2 restaurants, tiki bar, mini golf, fitness center and more. Scenic hiking trails abound, and, for boat rentals, public boat launches and numerous lakeside dining options, huge Lake Wallenpaupack is just a short drive away. The expansive Crossroads outlet stores are approx. 45 minutes away.


About the property:
4-bedroom, approx. 3,000 sq. ft. house comfortably sleeps 8 (1 king; 2 queens and 2 twins)

Bunk beds in downstairs game room sleeps additional two people

Three full baths (one on each floor)

Large man-made lake has rock bottom and is regularly maintained by The Hideout community

Breeo fire pit (wood provided as a courtesy to our guests); plenty of outdoor seating

Several kayaks and paddle sets provided, as well as a variety of life vests in adult and kids' sizes (please inspect prior to use)

The lake is stocked with various kinds of bass and crappie. Fishing is allowed at our dock and from kayaks. Per PA law, anyone over 16 needs a fishing license and this is enforced on Lake Roamingwood (let us know if you need info about obtaining a short-term fishing license).

New propane grill added in 2023 (tanks provided; if you happen to run out during your stay, refill at nearby stores and owner will reimburse with receipt)

New full-size washer & dryer

New mini-split A/C system with separate temperature control for each bedroom

Good supply of dishes, cookware, etc. Drip-style coffee maker, Keurig K-cup machine, Nespresso machine, microwave and hot air cooker/convection oven

10 amenity badges provided for each guest to access indoor and outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, gym, 9-hole golf course, on-site restaurants, etc. (located in kitchen for guests to borrow during their stay)

The Hideout is a 24/7 gated community, and it has rules in place to ensure everyone's safety

Upon arrival, all cars must check in at the gate when you arrive with ID and license plate # to receive a guest pass to display in the car for the entire stay

Roamingwood is a powerboat lake, boat launch is reserved only for residents with Roamingwood permits

The property has security cameras (exterior only) to help ensure compliance with community parking rooms and guest limits

To help ensure safety of pedestrians, the HOA uses cameras on the roadways within the community to monitor speed (this is heavily monitored, so please be sure to pay attention to speeding limit signs, as any violations are the responsibility of the guest)

Driveway is steep (while regular cars can access, some guests prefer to bring SUVs)

Prior to checkout, bring trash and recycling to community dumpsters about 2 minutes down the road (hours are very flexible)

Sunrise Chalet is our family's lakefront house and we're happy to share it with other guests! We knew this house was a very special place the first time we stepped into it. We had such a "wow" moment when we walked in through the front door and saw the gorgeous views of the lake, vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and huge kitchen! Our goal is for our guests to have the same feeling!

It's so rewarding to be a host and hear great feedback from our guests who have stayed with us and made lasting memories!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sunrise Chalet has some of the most-stunning views we've seen from homes in the area. The chalet-style house uniquely has a very large kitchen with double islands. Gorgeous views of the lake are visible from multiple spots throughout the home, including the kitchen, dining area, living room and second-floor book nook area. There are so many entertaining areas outside: the deck, screened-in seating area on the side of the home, lakefront fire pit area with seating by our private dock and our picnic bench area. Additionally, Sunrise Chalet is located in what's considered the prime area of Lake Roamingwood (in the mid-section of the lake).
