About this property
The Nashville Maverick: Minutes to Downtown, Killer Melrose Locale, All the FUN
Beautiful 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom home. The first bedroom and en suite bathroom are located on the main floor. The second level features a gorgeous living space, kitchen, covered patio, laundry room, and half bathroom. The second and third bedrooms and en suite bathrooms are on the third floor.
2.5 miles to the heart of downtown Nashville, a quick 5-10 minute Uber ride.
Unbeatable location straddling not one but TWO of Nashville’s hippest neighborhoods (8th South/Melrose and 12South). Between the Gulch and 12South is the 8th Avenue corridor (often referred to as Melrose), which is home to many of Nashville’s favorite attractions and destinations, including The Basement (acclaimed live music venue), Hattie B’s (Hot) Chicken, and a curated shopping district (8th Avenue Antique Mall). A top-shelf new Publix is a short walk from the property, as is Zanies Comedy Club, where on any given night, performers such as Chris Rock, Aziz Ansari, Chelsea Handler, and Theo Von, to name just a few, take the stage.
Many of the city’s best bars and restaurants - including Sinema, BarTaco, Santa’s Pub, The Sutler Saloon/Melrose Billiard Parlor, M.L. Rose, Smiling Elephant, Cilantro, Urban Grub, and Locust - are also just minutes away, and there is no shortage of places to hang out with friends/family, including 8th and Roast (coffee shop), and Craft Brewed (brew pub). For luxury shoppers, the Green Hills Mall is only 4 miles away, and scenic Sevier Park in 12South, which is a favorite for kids of all ages, is 1 mile away. Downtown Nashville, with all it has to offer (including, of course, world famous Honky Tonks like Tootsie’s and Robert’s Western World), is also less than 3 miles away. The neighborhood is a truly unbeatable blend of old and new, reflecting much of Nashville’s “secret sauce,” and it will continue to be at the epicenter of Nashville’s eclectic evolution long into the future. Add it all up, and this is a truly special place to make some memories!

Perfect accommodations and great location. Quiet spot and easy access to downtown as well as GEODIS park (walking distance). The hosts were very responsive if needed and the house had everything needed for the trip.
This was a great location, close to downtown and Broadway for those in our party that went that route. Close to Geodis Stadium for those that took in the Nashville SC game. Great food and shopping nearby. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Great house in a great neighborhood, really close to downtown Nashville. Really clean and nice people to deal with. Would highly recommend the property.
We had a great weekend here, the property had everything we needed and more. It was in a great location for the grocery, restaurants and more. The garage was so nice to have! Angie was so easy to communicate and had quick responses!
The place overall was very nice and comfortable. We did find that the trash from the previous guests was not removed and the 1st floor tub/shower did not drain well. Otherwise the home was very pleasant place to stay and had ample room for the 6 of us. I would consider staying here again when coming back to Nashville.
Overall this rental was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Only part was when our Uber dropped us off, finding this unit was a little tricky as it is located down a short alley way behind a home and other apartments...so at night, it was hard to tell where to walk to find the front door. But other than that, it was a perfect stay! Highly recommend.
My wife and I stayed here with our friend while house hunting in the Nashville area. We truly enjoyed the garage parking and the house was great. This home is near 12 South which has excellent restaurants, bars and shops.
Angie, our host was fantastic. She replied to any messages quickly and checked in to make sure our stay was going well.
We will definitely be back as we continue our house hunting.

6 ladies celebrating a milestone birthday- had plenty of room. Off the beaten track in a residential neighborhood but location was close walking distance to Publix to stock up on “necessities “. Walked to 12 South neighborhood (approximately 1 mile- east walk) to have breakfast, shop & hit a bunch of murals. Ubered to Broadway & restaurants- short trip and relatively inexpensive. Says it sleeps 12 but think that would be very tight. A lot of stairs which was fine for us but lugging suitcases up was challenging. House was clean, plenty of towels/sheets/pillows. Owner was very responsive- even with silly questions. Would definitely recommend.
Great place, perfect for 3 couples. Short walk to 12 South and short Uber ride to Broadway. Property manager very responsive. Thanks for the hospitality!
This property was exactly as pictured and then some. The 1st floor has a full bathroom with full over full size bunk. The main floor (2nd story) has a spacious beautifully decorated living room, kitchen, half bath, and patio. The patio was great for sipping our coffee in the mornings. We hung out and talked to both our neighbors on each side while on the balcony. Everyone was so nice in the building. The 3rd floor has washer/dryer, and 2 bedrooms -1st room has queen, twin daybed, twin trundle with full size bathroom- 2nd room has king and double vanity with full size bathroom which includes a huge walk in shower. We enjoyed the open space of the main living areas. The kitchen was well stocked and provided everything we needed to cook breakfast. A few of us walked 5 minutes to the coffee shop one morning and Hattie B’s chicken for dinner another night. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe, has street parking, and very pretty homes. We were a 7 minute drive to so many cool neighborhoods including the gulch, and midtown. I highly recommend “Milk and Honey” for brunch, Tin Roof for a night out without the huge amount of people you find on broadway. Great music and fast drinks.
We took an Uber to broadway ($15 for an XL and $9 for regular size) The Jason Aldean bar rooftop floor was so much fun. The Uber home was a bit more expensive but it was the prime time and picked up from the strip. If you walk a block or two over, you can save a little $.
Overall our trip was so much fun and we all enjoyed game nights in our VRBO and slept like babies for the few hours we slept each night before hitting the town again. Will be staying here again.
