The location is great. A quick walker could get to the Eiffel Tower area in 10 minutes. The closest metro line is Ecole Militaire, and is about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. There are also other stops/lines close by. Rue Cler is just around the corner. The neighborhood feels safe at night, and is relatively quiet. The host was fantastic and incredibly responsive. I would definitely stay here again, and would probably bring a sound machine, because the floor boards above can be creaky (as I'm sure many other floorboards are in Paris). This apartment was perfect for our weeklong stay in Paris.
