Modern waterfront home on Monkey Island with dock

Modern 4 bedroom waterfront home on Monkey Island with some of the best views on Grand Lake. The house sits out over the rock shelf shoreline and feels like you’re almost on top of the water. The large windows that fill the back wall makes your main water view constant from every seat in the house . The house has its own large private dock easily accessible right down the ramp from the back deck. The dock sits on the main channel and is always deep and never stagnant. Dock is large enough to hold your boats if you bring them, large enough to host all your group comfortably to party, swim or fish. The dock is stocked with paddle boards and water mats. Our home is located in the middle of Monkey Island. The pedestrian trail is outside the neighborhood. You can access all of the restaurants, bars, golf and everything the island life has to offer by golf cart rental. The open floor plan, large windows, large sliding glass doors, large back deck w/ hot tub and grill makes this home a perfect indoor/outdoor home for relaxing/entertaining from morning to night.

Family vacation

This was our second year, taken our family vacation on grand, this house was very nice. Well equipped and great access to the lake! Host were easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. We would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and nice. We appreciated the communication from the host. We would definitely consider going back. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Weekend with Friends

House was very clean and organized. Lots of amenities such as a nice maker and access to various kitchen and cleaning supplies. Overall everything you would love to have in an vacation rental.

Five stars!

This mini vacation (3 days) for our Couples group was too short! We utilized the dock, swimming and fishing and enjoyed the back deck as well. Wonderful hosts answered couple of questions speedily.

Perfect Girls Weekend Location!

We had a group of 10 celebrating a reunion weekend. The location was perfect for being close to ShangriLa. The house was gorgeous and was large enough for everyone to have their own space with all the luxuries of a hotel. We loved the outdoor deck area where we spent most of our time which included more than enough chairs, a jacuzzi and boating dock with plenty of chairs and noodles for all. The cove was beautiful with a scenic view of the lake and perfect for floating. We definitely plan to return next summer!

Our family and I had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful lake front property. The home was very clean and had every amenity you could ask for and then some. We enjoyed the large deck with hot tub that overlooked Grand Lake. The dock was a huge hit for everyone as well. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and just relaxing while taking in the beautiful views. Very easy check in and out and the host made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to coming back and making more great memories!

Our favorite property we have stayed at at Grand Lake

This property is absolutely stunning. You can really tell the owners care for this property. We had everything we needed all weekend and then some. It was very nice having so much space with large comfortable beds in every room. The living room/kitchen/deck is perfect for everyone to be able to congregate and be comfy. Most every cooking utensil we could have needed was there which we appreciated because you don’t always get that with rental properties. The dock was perfect for hanging out on, they have a lily pad, floats, life jackets and paddle boards which were very fun! We did not opt for the golf cart since we weren’t there for an extended period but any more than a day and I would suggest it. This was easily the most well put together vacation properties I have visited.

Beautiful weekend at this Modern Lakefront home!

We loved our weekend at this lakeside property! Amazing views of the lake and beautiful modern design. We had four families, three of them with young children, and the space was perfect. Each family had their own room. The common areas- living room and kitchen and large patio outside- were perfect for all 11 of us to hang out comfortably. The highlight might have been the amazing dock! Great since we brought our boat with us, but also turned out to be the favorite hang out space of the trip. Adults could sit in the bright colored Adirondack chairs while kids jumped in and out of the water. The place was very clean, had nice modern appliances and the Jack and Jill bathroom set up for our many families was helpful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend- we’d love to return next summer!

We are Casey and Pam. This is our full time residence and we love Monkey Island and Grand Lake. We are wanting to travel some to visit family and friends and it makes perfect sense to share our home with people wanting to visit Grand Lake through VRBO. We will be glad to share our knowledge of what to do and where to go while you’re here if you need it.

The location and the unobstructed views from our home are unbelievable. Having a main lake location with a dock is rare. We have both. Water is deep and never stagnant in front of our dock. The dock has a large entertaining area with plenty of room for everyone. It has full sun until early afternoon and then the dock becomes shaded so it’s never too hot to hang out on the dock. Indoor/outdoor living with large deck with hot tub and grill.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The downstairs has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bidet, open closet and large walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. There’s also a half bath in the living room under the stairs. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have their own 1/2 bath and closets and the bathrooms are connected with a large walk-in shower/wet room. Perfect for when everyone comes off the water and everyone needs to potty and shower. In total there are 4 toilets and 2 large walk-in showers. Also the hot tub is on the deck right outside the master bedroom and under cover of the upstairs balcony.
