Enjoy this Beautiful Rustic Farmhouse in the heart of Downtown Lake Geneva. Close to everything Lake Geneva has to offer, 3 blocks from the DT restaurants and bars, and only 3 blocks from the lake. This 3,100 square foot house has a huge gourmet kitchen, inviting cocktail room, cozy family room with wood burning fireplace, and 4 unique charming bedrooms with 2 of them being, en-suite(full bathrooms). Outside offers a beautifully spacious front porch with couches, lights, candles, and a TV. The backyard offers a deck with chairs, a couch, 3 tables, a sprawling space, and a magical treehouse!

Lovely home, 10 minute leisurely walk to downtown. the porch was our favorite feature! Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. And the hosts were wonderfully responsive! Would definitely stay again and have already recommended some friends to stay here!

This property was perfect for our family. We were six adults and two toddlers. The kitchen space was perfect for food preparation, and dining together. The large table made playing games easy. Ample sitting areas to read, relax, and chat. The front porch was exceptional even in a rain storm. It was peaceful to sit outside and listen to the rain. The toddlers loved the backyard space for blowing bubbles and playing ball. It was clean, well stocked, and Stephanie was exceptional. A couple issues came up at check in and she immediately responded and made everything right. She was most concerned that our stay was excellent. You can definitely walk to the main downtown Geneva area in about 10 minutes. There is also an amazing playground for kids of all ages within a 5 minute walk. We would stay here again.

Check in was a breeze. The owner, who is absolutely wonderful, checked in with me before we checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The kitchen is gorgeous with much room for my family & me.

Great house/location

Had a wonderful NYE weekend getaway with friends at this house. It’s walking distance to downtown LG and has wonderful amenities. House was clean, had a great layout and was able to comfortably accommodate 10 adults. Would definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for our family of 7 with a toddler. It was clean and had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen. The treehouse in the backyard was a great bonus. It was within walking distance of so many things and a short drive to the other side of the lake. The host was the best, being so attentive to all questions starting from the time I booked the house to our checking day.

Great Geneva Getaway

This house is not small but feels very cozy & warm, it was inviting from the moment we stepped inside. It was a great place to hang with another family for a couple of nights and the location was wonderful - we look forward to visiting/staying here again during the summer vs. winter to see all that DT Lake Geneva has to offer.

We loved the Charm & Chic location in downtown Geneva. It's a beautiful, spacious home. Great location and within walking distance to everything. Our host was amazing! Very helpful and quick response times with any questions.

Love the Porch

My friend and I were celebrating our 75th birthdays together with our husbands. The location of the house was great, the kitchen amazing, but our favorite “room” was the front porch. We spent hours there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for a 65th Birthday Celebration

The house is as described and they provide anything you could possibly want. From cooking utensils to the comfortable beds. Given the warm weather we were able to enjoy the front porch as well as the back deck. The location was perfect as you can walk to restaurants and downtown shopping. A perfect 4 days to celebrate our friends 65th birthday!

Great house, plenty of room, great location

The house was great for me, my two kids, snd my two grandchildren. My mom joined for a night as well. The house was roomy with a huge, well stocked kitchen and a fantastic stove for cooking. The bedrooms were as described and having 3.5 bathrooms was great. The property owner is responsive and helpful.

So Spacious

Plenty of room for more people than were in our party! So enjoyed the front porch every evening. The weather was perfect but even if it wasn't - the porch was so charming with plenty of seating, it would be great in a rain storm too. The large kitchen table was great for games night. The house is really clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

Before our trip the host responded quickly. When we got to the house it was nice and clean. We had preemptively grocery shopped for all our food, so we could spend more time together without running around shopping. When we arrived, we put the food in the fridge but the temperature in the refrigerator was not at safe temperatures. The food spoiled because the temperature was warmer by the morning. They came and tried to fix and reset the refrigerator and brought us a cooler with ice to use. The host did reimburse us the cost of the food that was lost. We decided to enjoy the rest of our stay using the cooler for our food, so we didn't risk the same food situation again. On our third day, a tragic storm made the power go out for 2 days. I asked the host if she could contact the power company for information. She sent me a screenshot from the power company. We didn’t receive a check in or help throughout the day when the power was out. So, I called them and told them we needed to leave before the house became dark because we had no power. The host offered us 500 for the two nights. I talked to VRBO, and thankfully they had the host reimburse us for the 2 nights in which we had no power. This is the standard under the Extenuating Circumstances policy.

As a long time Premier Host with exceptional ratings for 6 years I wanted to make sure this review has some added context. Prior to checkin the family requested an early checkin which we accommodated and let them in at 9am giving them a full day to accommodate their family needs. There were refrigerator issues due to the family leaving the door ajar for long periods of time. We worked with them across multiple calls to address the issue as well as had a smaller fridge be installed in the kitchen. We came up the next day fully prepared to buy a new fridge for them but saw that both refrigerators were fully operational. They remained nervous about the temps of the fridges which was their choice. We ended up delivering a large cooler packed with ice as well as giving them $700 so they could mentally enjoy their vacation. It is correct we offered $500 refund for the weather issues as we thought that was fair given the above accommodations we made. They canceled the entire stay and VRBO decided to refund them. We would not host this family again.

Location! Location! Location!

Stayed here for a girls weekend at the end of July and the property was perfectly situated. Close enough to downtown to walk to the beach, boats, shops, and restaurants but far enough to be quiet and serene. We enjoyed our time on the porch with coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. The house fit us all comfortably and we loved playing the games left in the office. Stephanie is amazing at communicating and answering any last minute questions. We will be back for sure!!

What a Gem!

The house was every bit as lovely as pictured! We had a great, low-key trip with eight people and were so happy with the location and all the great spaces in this house to gather and enjoy each others’ company. I will say it was such a treat to have a beautiful kitchen with top notch appliances. The host was very responsive, house instructions were clear, and there were no issues with our stay. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
