The house was very clean, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped. There are two porches - a screen porch and a large glassed-in porch. The latter offers lovely views of the creek, a park, and the treetops where birds were often singing. Though it's near a busy road, the hill and long driveway set it back, so it feels quite secluded. One of our favorite lodgings!
This was our fourth stay at the historic Downingtown Manor. Each and every time has been fabulous. The house is well kept, very clean; stocked with plenty of amenities, great location and very responsive hosts. And this year the house was decorated very beautifully for Christmas.

Kitchen was fully equipped and loved the Ice machine, since I am a big user of ice! Great dishes, silverware, etc. The only complaint my daughter and I had were the two fry pans! they were sooo hard to clean!
The house is charming! Wonderful indoor and outdoor seating spaces, especially the lovely glassed-in porch overlooking the river. Very spacious and in a great location. Mark and Michele were always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. A great find in Downingtown with lovey hosts!! We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to stay there again in the future.
