Relaxing, envigorating, beautiful views and wonderful beach.

The Big Island is not congested, easy to navigate and offers a wide array of activities. Magic Sands is a short drive to Da Poke Shack, larger shopping centers and restaurants as well as close to beaches and parks.

Waking up and hearing and seeing the ocean right outside offers a calming experience. Magic Sands Beach is adjacent to the property with great snorkel and swim opportunities. When snorkel boats bring people to your beach you know it’s good.

The condo is well supplied and we spent most of our time on the lanai enjoying sounds and views.

We saw many turtles at the beach and one came up on the reef below our room to rest and eat and spent 2 hours entertaining.

Great Studio Condo!

Studio 201 on the corner of Kona Magic Sands was very well appointed inside and the site manager kept it spotless on the outside. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, barbecue, spend time on the beach with chairs, towels and boogie boards, or explore the island with a picnic. The views and ocean sounds were spectacular from this studio.

I would rate it a 5 except for the construction mess going on on the floor below and the weekend local partiers who used the beach and parking lot across the street to party loudly and blast music late into the night. Also the shared patio with the loud renters next door was a little awkward.

Beautiful condo right on ocean.

We loved being right on the ocean!! It was great having the beach beside us. There are also many beaches nearby for variety and we snorkelled with turtles. We also enjoyed the pool and it was never crowded . The condo is beautiful and is equipped with everything you could want. It’s a short drive into the main shopping and dining area with so many good restaurants to choose from. Konjer was amazing and always replied immediately to my emails and worked hard to accommodate our requests. We have already booked our next trip here in 2019!

Incredible location

Loved everything about the property - superb location, well equipped. Owner accessible and helpful and property manager Lori great! However, no AC, so if you require it for health issues or in general, just be aware. It was 70’s during my stay, so open sliding door and fans were fine. I’d definitely stay again if temps not too high.

A Magical Place!

This was our 7th visit to Kona Magic Sands, and the 4th stay in 201. For beach and water lovers, there simply no place better! We have been recommending KMS to friends and family for years and will continue to do so. The rehab of 201 was beautifully done. We couldn't think of anything that needed to be added. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the lanai is straight out of a romantic movie set. Lori, Property Manager at KMS, is very helpful, and the condo property is well maintained. Locally the grocery shopping meets all your needs. Anthony's Restaurant has THE BEST onion soup and good Mai Tai. Longs Drug store has good prices on wine and liquor. Sam Choy's is the best place (after the lani) to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. We will return, hopefully every year. It's a magical place.

Couldn't ask for anything more

Really. A ton of money must have gone into renovations for this unit--granite, tile, glass, and so beautifully decorated. Substantially-supplied kitchen and bathroom. Note: the VRBO picture of the kitchen is inaccurate as it is now granite counters all the way.

Dock your iPod in the living room, grab a wake board from the patio, use the extra down pillows--it is all generously provided. The location is very accurate. Full ocean view, and if you turn your head to the left, you can watch beach goers. Nice walk to the farmer's market.

Highlight: From the condo's patio I would watch the waves crashing onto the rocks below. Just before the waves broke, there were walls of clear water where I could see the tropical fish. Neat.

I was quite impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the condo. The owners could charge more if they wanted to. Not that I would want them to, but I would definitely pony up the money.
