OCEAN VIEWS EXTRAORDINARY!!!

This lovely condo is above and beyond all we could have imagined! The description doesn't even begin to do justice to the experience of sound and views of the crashing waves. Everyday was like being in a yacht on the ocean. The beach just steps away perfect for snorkeling and boogie boarding!Snack shack right downstairs. Everything you could ever wish or expect on a perfect Hawaiian vacation. Peaceful relaxing and exhilarating! The owners were prompt kind and accommodating. Unit super clean and updated. We will be back here because anything else would be a let down!! MAHALO!!

Perfect Location...

Kona Magic Sands is an Awesome location. Stayed at this location twice. Condo #201 was one of the best places I have stayed in Ever. The condo has been updated and was in great shape. The views from the patio were perfect. You can just kick back and watch the beach or look out into the ocean. We saw turtles and fish right from our patio. The grill downstairs is great if you don't feel like cooking. The only improvement I think the condo could use is AC. We will definitely book this condo again.

Wow, What a Gem!

This was our second time staying at this property. This Condo has the most beautiful view, right on the ocean, with a large private Lanai with the most beautiful sunsets! It's located steps away from the Magic Sands Beach and also has a new restaurant below the unit called Magic Sands Restaurant. The Condo is nicely furnished with all the basic needs; spices, small appliances, beach towels & chairs, boogie board, ice cooler, etc. It has a heated pool, washer/dryer room, outdoor shower, your own reserved parking spot. etc. all very well maintained. We had an issue with the TV not working so we called the Manager Konjer. He got back to us immediately and helped us resolve the issue. If you're looking for a place to stay and enjoy the sunsets, ocean, and just get some R&R this hidden gem is the best place to stay in Kona, Hawaii! Mahalo for sharing your beautiful condo with us! We are looking forward to returning soon!

Fabulous Unit with roaring ocean front Lanai

We stayed here a week and were reluctant to leave, the unit was cozy, comfortable and very relaxing. Were both looking forward to staying here again !

Relaxing, envigorating, beautiful views and wonderful beach.

The Big Island is not congested, easy to navigate and offers a wide array of activities. Magic Sands is a short drive to Da Poke Shack, larger shopping centers and restaurants as well as close to beaches and parks. Waking up and hearing and seeing the ocean right outside offers a calming experience. Magic Sands Beach is adjacent to the property with great snorkel and swim opportunities. When snorkel boats bring people to your beach you know it’s good. The condo is well supplied and we spent most of our time on the lanai enjoying sounds and views. We saw many turtles at the beach and one came up on the reef below our room to rest and eat and spent 2 hours entertaining. Mahalo and Aloha

Great Studio Condo!

Studio 201 on the corner of Kona Magic Sands was very well appointed inside and the site manager kept it spotless on the outside. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, barbecue, spend time on the beach with chairs, towels and boogie boards, or explore the island with a picnic. The views and ocean sounds were spectacular from this studio. I would rate it a 5 except for the construction mess going on on the floor below and the weekend local partiers who used the beach and parking lot across the street to party loudly and blast music late into the night. Also the shared patio with the loud renters next door was a little awkward.

Aloha John, I'm glad you enjoyed the Magic of Kona Magic Sands 201. It is unfortunate that the public beach next door was a little noisy for you however it is a popular beach. Also you mentioned a shared lanai....I'm not sure what you meant as your lanai is not shared and is enclosed with railings and is exclusive to 301. Mahalo...condoskonahawaii.com

Beautiful condo right on ocean.

We loved being right on the ocean!! It was great having the beach beside us. There are also many beaches nearby for variety and we snorkelled with turtles. We also enjoyed the pool and it was never crowded . The condo is beautiful and is equipped with everything you could want. It’s a short drive into the main shopping and dining area with so many good restaurants to choose from. Konjer was amazing and always replied immediately to my emails and worked hard to accommodate our requests. We have already booked our next trip here in 2019!

Incredible location

Loved everything about the property - superb location, well equipped. Owner accessible and helpful and property manager Lori great! However, no AC, so if you require it for health issues or in general, just be aware. It was 70’s during my stay, so open sliding door and fans were fine. I’d definitely stay again if temps not too high.

We do not advertise that we have air-conditioning and have not received a complaint during the ten years we have been renting this beautiful condo. Thank you however Laurie for posting your concern in your review.

A Magical Place!

This was our 7th visit to Kona Magic Sands, and the 4th stay in 201. For beach and water lovers, there simply no place better! We have been recommending KMS to friends and family for years and will continue to do so. The rehab of 201 was beautifully done. We couldn't think of anything that needed to be added. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the lanai is straight out of a romantic movie set. Lori, Property Manager at KMS, is very helpful, and the condo property is well maintained. Locally the grocery shopping meets all your needs. Anthony's Restaurant has THE BEST onion soup and good Mai Tai. Longs Drug store has good prices on wine and liquor. Sam Choy's is the best place (after the lani) to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. We will return, hopefully every year. It's a magical place.

Couldn't ask for anything more

Really. A ton of money must have gone into renovations for this unit--granite, tile, glass, and so beautifully decorated. Substantially-supplied kitchen and bathroom. Note: the VRBO picture of the kitchen is inaccurate as it is now granite counters all the way. Dock your iPod in the living room, grab a wake board from the patio, use the extra down pillows--it is all generously provided. The location is very accurate. Full ocean view, and if you turn your head to the left, you can watch beach goers. Nice walk to the farmer's market. Highlight: From the condo's patio I would watch the waves crashing onto the rocks below. Just before the waves broke, there were walls of clear water where I could see the tropical fish. Neat. I was quite impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the condo. The owners could charge more if they wanted to. Not that I would want them to, but I would definitely pony up the money.

Absolutely Ocean Front Is Right!!!

If you like the ocean, it doesn't get any closer than this without being in it!! The large lanai, view, waves, sunsets, Magic Sands beach, Kahalu'u beach park and proximity to the shops and restaurants in Kailua-Kona is perfect. Good central location out of the hustle & bustle of town.

Couple's Perfection - Oceanfront

This is a great condo and the pictures do not lie - you are truly oceanfront. The crashing waves are just amazing to fall asleep to. The lanai is huge, fully stocked with all that you'll need to enjoy Magic Sands beach next door. Literally just steps away - one of the best beaches on this side of the island. Just a short drive away from all of the shops/restaurants in Kailua-Kona or there's even a trolley that stops right in front of the condos that'll take you to town & back if Mai Tai's are going to be enjoyed. I can still hear the waves crashing, picture the incredible sunsets. I loved this place. Highly recommended.
