Nuestra nueva casa contemporánea se encuentra en 36 acres con impresionantes vistas de las colinas y valles. Se encuentra alejado de la carretera por 800 ’y ofrece total privacidad.
Ver la puesta de sol en la noche desde la cubierta trasera o ver el cielo nocturno lleno de estrellas es algo que permanecerá contigo por mucho tiempo.
La cocina abierta es limpia y hermosa con encimeras de cuarzo y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Tiene todas las herramientas y equipos necesarios para hacer sopa y un sándwich o una comida gourmet completa. La sala de estar común se presta para reuniones y conversaciones. Amazing Get Away

This was a perfect retreat for the family yet so close to Ithaca College, waterfalls, restaurants, etc. Our host was amazing and so quick to answer all our questions before we got there and during our stay. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Was perfect to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Wegman’s catering even delivered for our small celebration afterwards!

A room with a view.

It is that awe moment you experience when you arrive. The views from the back porch are immense, beautiful and calming. Coffee on that porch for sunrise, not to be missed.Julie and her family have created a home that is sure to encourage the making of wonderful memories. I personally loved all the art work and the design of the interior. After a day of exploring the area, it was nice to come back and relax by the fire and listen to music. Julie was always available and responsive although we had a seamless experience.

40th reunion

This is a very well thought out home for a retreat into nature. The first day we arrived we were treated to a beautiful sunset. The back porch was a perfect place to take it in. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Even basic spices and condiments. I highly recommend this home and the owner was clearly available if needed but we did not need to contact them for any reason.

Breathtaking views - AMAZING

This is the most peaceful little home in the most beautiful location - and that's saying something in Ithaca which has so many beautiful places! My husband and I had a lovely weekend, with this lovely cabin serving as a peaceful hub for our visit with our son. It is near enough to everything, while providing a private, quiet home base. Thank you for creating such a great gathering place!

Feels like home again

This is the third time we have stayed at this property and we just love it. The expansive panoramic view from the back porch is incredible. The house has everything you need and the hosts are responsive and wonderful. We love it here. The house is well situated near national Parks, Cornell, downtown Ithaca, etc We can’t wait to come back.

Great Long Weekend

We spent a long weekend at the property while we visited and our high schooler worked on college essays. It was a perfect environment - beautiful views (even better than photos on the site), very well outfitted kitchen and quiet environment. The host was proactive in advance and, since it all went smoothly, we didn't need to reach out when we were there, but she was really great. We would absolutely come back again. Thank you!!

Excellent again

This is our go to place when spending time in the finger lakes. We have not been disappointed. It is always relaxing. Thanks again Julie for sharing your place and allowing us to share some memories with our 2 year old grandson. He loved the house, parks, waterfalls and science center. Perfect little house with gorgeous views

A very comfortable house with a large open floor plan for hanging out, a well-stocked kitchen and lots of amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of everything. The kitchen was great to cook in, but it would have been nice to have a dishwasher. A note to others - the stairs up to the loft are VERY steep and only one person in our group of six was willing to climb up there to sleep.

Wonderful cottage at a great location

We spent two weeks in Julie's cottage and enjoyed every moment of it. The cottage is clean, very well laid out, has everything you need, and its location is fantastic. The view is spectacular, it is very quiet, but at the same time close to everything, from beautiful hikes through the gorges of the State parks to the lively town of Ithaca for breakfast, coffee or dinner. Besides that, we learned to milk a cow at Sunset View Creamery, rode the train tracks at Finger Lakes Rail Riders, tasted honey at Bright Raven Farm, did a tour at Harry Tubman's house, and visited the Corning Museum of Glass. Many cideries and wineries in the area provide evenings with live music for those who like some (after)dinner entertainment. And after all that excitement, it wonderful to come back to the quietness of the comfortable cottage and enjoy the view!

Beautiful haven

The property is lovely and the house is clean, well stocked, and cozy. It is truly a haven with birds flying, singing, and gorgeous views. A few issues, one significant. There was an army of large black ants in the kitchen. I am not sure if this can be combatted since the house is really in the country. The other issues…washer and dryer were advertised in the listing but a sign was put on the washer saying we could not use them. Also - no dishwasher.

Fantastic Again

My wife and I love this place. It is a great place to relax and unwind and I t is very quiet. If you want quiet and relaxing this is the place. We have stayed twice and will definitely be staying again (already looking for the next dates). Julie is an amazing host and responds quickly to any questions you might have. Trust me when I say if you book this property you will not be disappointed.

For my own selfish reasons I would love to leave a bad review because I don’t want everybody to know about this property but I wont. What an amazing place, I can’t say enough about it. The views are amazing, The quietness is amazing and relaxing. The house is amazing and we will be back. Did I mention this property is amazing? And Julie is too!

Another perfect getaway!

This was our 2nd stay & much too short! This lovely home has everything you need & is one of the most peaceful places we have stayed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The hosts respond promptly to any needs & the views are breathtaking. This will always be our #1 choice when visiting Ithaca.

Gorgeous view, beautiful and comfortable home

What a wonderful stay we had at this house. The house is beautiful and clean, the view is just stunning. Our family loved the deck and the nice swing set. The location is awesome - gorgeous property and 10-20 minutes away from many things to do in the area.

Gorgeous Sunsets

The house sits on a high hill overlooking a valley and other small mountains. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. The house is clean and cute and it has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

You should stay here!

This was a wonderful property. The swing set and toy closet were a huge hit with our children. The view was AMAZING! The house was clean and had all the creature comforts. The location was fantastic. We have nothing negative to say about this property. We would definitely return!

Perfect location and beautiful view

This was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. The view from the back porch was gorgeous, especially at sunset. Great location for exploring various state parks and hikes. Our daughter loved the loft bedroom. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The perfect weekend getaway

Everything about this place is great; from the views off the back porch to the updated interior and comfy couches/beds, to the quiet and spacious property, it's the perfect weekend getaway. And my kids LOVED the back yard, playset and hutch full of kites and towns. And it's only 10 mins to downtown Ithaca so you can get the best of both worlds. Will definitely be back!
