Blue Moose Lodge is a great home to stay in for large family gatherings! Just 18 miles to Wolf Creek Ski Area and 6 miles from downtown Pagosa Springs. You will love the beautiful view and all the space to spread out and take in the mountain splendor! This home boasts two kitchens, four bedrooms with their own private bathroom, two bedroom more bedrooms with a shared bathroom and six bathrooms total! Plenty of space to spread out on either of the three levels.

The ground level has a spacious living area with a full kitchen. There are two bedrooms on this level with private bathrooms and televisions. Go upstairs to the main level and find the living room, gas fireplace, giant antler chandelier, full kitchen, large dining room, home office, a bathroom in the hallway and the master bedroom along with another room with a queen bed, both rooms has their own private bathroom.

When you go upstairs again, to the third level, there is a large loft with a spacious sitting area and a bathroom with a shower. There are also two bedrooms with a queen and twin bed in each.

There is a large wrap around deck to enjoy the gorgeous mountains from equipped with two gas grills. A new hot tub has been added on the left side of the home.
Come bring your family and your friends and enjoy Pagosa Springs to the fullest. Close to national forest access roads, great skiing and the charming town of Pagosa Springs!

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This was a perfect place to stay for our group ski and hot springs trip!! Not to far from the slopes or the city and with plenty of room and amenities! Two large living rooms (plus a third, smaller living room on the top floor!), two full kitchens, plenty of rooms - most with private bathrooms, and a fabulous hot tub with a great view of the stars!! The upstairs bedrooms are great for kids to share or a parent(s) with young little ones they want in the same room, but would be tight for adults to share and have separate beds. Host was friendly and communicative and the place was clean and well equipped. Everything exceeded expectations and we would definitely rent here again for a similar sized group next time we visit Pagosa!

This cabin has cozy gathering space, yet is very spacious throughout. Great for a women's getaway. Well-stocked with towels for hot springs/hot tub and convenient laundering facilities. Large kitchens and plenty of amenities for home cooking. Closer to the road than I had imagined, but relatively quiet anyway. Clear instructions for check-in, and easy check-out. Really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay!

This was our sixth trip to Pagosa and all six times we have stayed in San Juan River Village area, but this was the best cabin yet! The cabin was exactly as the listing said it was. There was plenty of room for everyone, great location, and very clean. The check in process and smooth and so was communication with the property manager was quick and responsive. 10/10 would recommend this place and would stay again!

Great location! Close to town with a short drive to the slopes. This house is great for entertaining many people. The dual kitchens was a hit. A great property for entertaining multiple families. Every room having an en suite bathroom was nice. I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

Very Pleasant. Not too far from downtown Pagosa. Great property for a large group. Many bathrooms, all modern but one. Two kitchens was a plus. The stairs for 3 levels could be an issue for young children and elderly.

Amazing house!

We had a group of 12 ladies for a girls weekend and I cannot say how great this house was!!! 6 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms gave everyone ample space. House is nicely stocked with kitchen essentials for enjoying meals at the house. Communication with property manager was easy and amazing. Hot tub is a great bonus. Again loved the property and already want to plan my next trip! 10/10 would recommend!

The property in general was clean and spacious. There were 12 adults and we all had our own room and bathroom. The place could use some updating (upstairs kitchen has a weird layout and all the carpet needs to go) The other thing not mentioned, is that it is directly on the main highway. Other than the few things listed, we would recommend this home to anyone with a large group.

Wonderful large house!

We loved this house with all of its beds and bathrooms. They made our stay with family so easy and fun. The house is at a great location, so close to town and to the road that took us to a lovely wedding south of town. We didnt mind at all that it was right off the highway because all the bedrooms were at the back side of the house and it was so handy to get right out on the road to town. Much of the house was beautifully updated, there were many hospitable touches and the outside porch was nice. We wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely book this place again, and will use the big hot tub then!

It’s been tradition to visit Pagosa for several years now. We stay in this neighborhood every year! This has been the best house by far. Hot water worked!! Someone was blowing snow from our drive way for us! TWO kitchens full of all essentials needed. 7 FULL bathrooms in total. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, board games, clean hot tub! We will be staying here again next year and highly recommend.

Perfect for a large family or two!

We had a family of 4, plus 2 other couples. This home provided plenty of space for everyone. The best part was that with the number of bathrooms in their home, almost everyone had their own bathrooms! We did find a pair of earrings in the bathroom and a t-shirt under a chair from the previous guests, so I feel like housekeeping could have done a more thorough job but at least the house did seem to be clean. Quick drive (around 20 minutes) to Wolf Creek if you're staying here for a ski trip.

Great Property, Inconsiderate Property Management

The house and the location themselves were wonderful. However, we did encounter rodents, and we were surprised by the apathy and unwillingness of the property management team to work with us about it. From the property management representative (typos included): "It probably just came in thru an open door", "I'm sorry that you encountered the mouse but here in the mountains and they are abundant here". Blaming us and the area was especially rude. The place is nice, but due to the behavior of the property management company, I can't recommend anyone stay here and we won't be coming back.

For future guests: This is a mountain community with wild life all around. Some of the wildlife are little field mice that can squeak thru a crack in a door. We do everything we can to make sure that these issues are mitigated. We are always willing to come deal with a situation if asked. This is a wonderful home and we don’t feel that this 2 star review is warranted for this reason. We have NEVER had an issue with mice at this home, and during these freezing temperatures they are more visible. No one can control that. Max, in response to your comments: I had never "blamed" you as I merely mentioned that maybe a door had been open(even for a second) and that's how they can come in. You kept mentioning in the plural sense that you encountered mice, but in actuality you only encountered one very small field mouse. This home has over 30 reviews and has an "exceptional" rating. Not worth the money

We stayed 4 nights with 10 adults, no kids. The house was big, and had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for our group. Good location, 6 mins outside of Pagosa, but directly on the main highway. There was no AC in the house, and not enough fans to circulate air. It was over 80 degrees in the house from 9am - 10pm. Had to go to Walmart to purchase more fans since their weren't enough in the house. Some of the restrooms are updated, but overall the house is dated. There are stains on the carpet downstairs and up. With a few exceptions the furniture, including beds and bedframes, were poor quality. We wouldn't stay again.

Jeff, so sorry that you were frustrated with your stay. We would have been happy to provide fans for you, but you had not reached out to us at all during your stay. For future guests: this home is not directly on the highway. It is on the road north of the highway. It is close to the highway, true. It is stated in the description of the home there is no AC as most homes in Pagosa. We always want to accommodate our guests, but were not informed of any of this until this review. Our goal is to provide whatever is necessary for our guests comfort which is why we keep all lines of communication available to our guests. The VIP Team

We had a wonderful time in Pagosa Springs and really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Moose Lodge. It was an excellent setup for our multi-family trip, with two separate living areas and fully equipped kitchens that had everything we needed to cook comfortably.After long days on the slopes, the hot tub was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also appreciated the beautiful weather, though we did wish there had been more patio furniture to enjoy the outdoor space.A couple of small notes: some of the beds listed as queens are actually full-size, and there was only one towel provided per guest—so we would plan to request extras next time.Overall, we truly loved our stay and would absolutely return!
