The host was very proactive with communication. The home was absolutely lovely, clean, and easy to access with many location indicators placed by the host. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything a guest would need and more. I would 100% stay with this host again!

Thank you for staying with us! Hope to welcome you back in the future!
It could have really benefitted from a power strip or two for the modern traveler’s electronics. But it was super cute, quiet, and otherwise as advertised.
My daughter and I stayed here over Christmas. The unit was the perfect size. We saved money by cooking our Christmas dinner here. It's walking distance to several good restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood and surrounding houses are quiet. Be prepared to climb steps whether you park in the back or front. The driveway to the back parking can be hard to find if you aren't familiar with alleyway parking. Overall, I feel this is a wonderful property and plan to stay here again if it's available next time I'm in town.
We were in town for a couple of days to see a show at the Variety Playhouse. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Very clean, very comfortable, and extremely close to everything and everywhere you would want go in little 5. A few minutes walk and you are in the middle of one of the best neighborhoods in Atlanta. One of my absolute favorite places to hang out. Will absolutely book here again the next time we are planning a trip.
The place was awesome. The vibe was awesome. The neighborhood was VERY cute, and the little 5 points area offers cool bars and vintage shopping within a couple hundred feet of the apartment. The communication from our host was nothing short of outstanding. During booking and our stay, any message was replied to within minutes with a clear and concise answer. Can’t recommend enough.
Loved it. Exceedingly clean and roomy. The only suggestion we would make is the steps from both front and back had twigs and rocks. They could be sweptso people whohave difficlty walking could feel more secure.

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful guest! It was an absolute pleasure to host you and you are welcome back anytime!
Whenever possible, I prefer short-term rental properties with character. With older properties, this usually carries a trade-off with things like storage - but that was not the case with this amazing unit. This is the first place I've stayed where I think I could happily, permanently take up residence. The setup, finishes, cleanliness, amenities and thoughtful touches made me feel very literally at home. I look forward to returning for future stays!

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful guest! It was an absolute pleasure to host you and you are welcome back anytime!
We wanted a place to stay within walking distance of a concert venue and this fit perfectly. Two blocks from Variety Playhouse and one block from Little Five Points.
The directions to the entrance to the alleyway that runs behind the house was a bit lacking but on the second pass by we found it. The entrance to it right after you turn onto the main street right after the school, not next to the house itself.
Owners were very communicative.
It is just across the street from the Little Five Points district, a quick walk to restaurants, music, natural grocery, coffee, and so on. Very quirky and lots of fun. The unit is clean, well appointed, and stylish. The bathroom is particularly nice - modern and LOTS of shelves. Two people can just unload everything. It's great! Bed is comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Nice big TV and many streaming options. AC / heat works well (needed both during our stay). Highly recommend!

Hi Ed, thank you for staying with us! It's a pleasure having you and we are looking forward to hosting you again in the future!
We had a fantastic experience with the booking process, communication, and overall stay at this charming house. The renovations were lovely while still keeping the character of the original house. We were so close to all of the restaurants/bars in Little 5 Points but a few houses from the main road so no noise at night. We walked everywhere and even took leftovers back to the house before hitting our next stop since the house was so close. The kitchen/bathroom had everything we needed. The king bed was SO comfortable with soft, cozy sheets. The hand painted mural brought so much color to this already bright and airy house. We had no trouble at all with any noise from the neighbors. This is a terrific bang for the buck for a couple or two friends wanting a getaway near all the action. We were able to stay here for two nights cheaper than a hotel room. We walked to the Variety Playhouse for a concert (main reason we came) and felt very safe the whole time. HIGHLY recommend. We will be back :).
*Unsafe VRBO*. I left after the second night when visitors to the next door neighbor threatened to return with a weapon. The first night, I was awakened by the next door neighbors. I wrote the owner and asked if they were returning. No response. The second night, I was awakened at 2 am, 3 am, 4 am and finally packed and left. I believe they are long-term tenants. I recorded the men shouting outside the bedroom window (threats and obscenities) and shared to the owner and VRBO. Waiting for a partial refund. Very scary experience. Disappointed that no one seems to care. Poor response.

Karen, I am so sorry that you had this experience while staying in our apartment. We did have a long-term tenant that was disruptive to our guests and despite the communication with that tenant, the issue lasted a few weeks. We have since removed this tenant from the building.
I can understand due to this experience you may not choose to stay in our apartment for future trips, however, if you find yourself traveling back to the area, we would like to have the opportunity to host you and provide a much better experience.
No sleep - walls have no insulation and loud neighbors kept us up
I am a fellow VRBO host of 15 years. This place failed to provide a critical amenity - ability to sleep.
First, the positives.
House is in a great location in my favorite neighborhood of Atlanta. It's in within walking distance of THE BEST vintage stores and locally owned shops.
2nd - house is cozy and had all the basics like heat and hot water.
The negatives:
1. UNLOCKING THE DOOR - There is more than 1 unit in the house and the booking address has no unit #, but is buried in the instructions. We arrived at midnight after a late flight and approached from the front door, facing the sidewalk and tried the code 5 times, panicked and realized this wasn't the unit.
We spelunked around the side of the house to find the right unit and got in.
2. NO SLEEP - after settling in and taking showers, I was in the bathroom and heard a man's voice (that wasn't my husband's) like he was in the room with me. I peaked out and realized I heard correctly when my husband's wide eyes matched mine. Immediately, I felt bad because I thought we woke them up with our normal talking voices. Then it became obvious they had returned from the bar.
We could hear every word they said on the other side of the wall. At 2am, we went "to sleep" but they were up inside and outside (right next to our bedroom window) talking until 6am so we got 2 hours of broken sleep maybe?
They refunded me 2 of the 4 nights after I requested 3 nights refunded for the time we didn't occupy the home.

Megan, thank you so much for taking a moment to review your stay.
I am so sorry that you were disrupted by another tenant in the building. We have since removed the long-term tenant that was disrupting our guests.
I have also reviewed our instructions and will be adding additional details for check-in. This was not brought to my attention previously so I did not realize the confusion from our message and the setup of the building.
I appreciate that you noted the positives and not just the negatives in your review.
The host for this property is very responsive and communicated with us very well! The property itself was very easy to find, very clean, and in a great location for anything in the Little 5 Points. Loved this place and will keep it mind for future stays.
