Fresh, clean, and new!

We had a fabulous stay at this house! It is exactly as pictured. When we walked in everything was extremely clean, fresh, and new. I remembered that the property didn't have all that many reviews on VRBO, and I figured it was because the place was so new inside. The location was great, it is really close to the remodeled Publix (we walked there a few times) but not too close... You can't see it and there isn't noise from the shopping area. Behind the house is an open field, so the backyard is very private. When we were swimming in the pool the only noise was the occasional tortoise coming out from the brush to go for a walk in the grass. There is also a bald eagle nest in a tree very nearby. While floating in the pool we would look up and see the eagle carry sticks and stuff back to the nest. My kids saw him with a fish in his talons one day. We arrived on Christmas Eve and left on New Year's Day. It was really sweet that the house had some Christmas decor up for our stay! We used the grill twice and cooked quite a few meals in the kitchen. The WiFi worked well. My husband sat outside at the dining table and worked most days. He had a nice background of the pool for his zoom calls! There were pool and sand toys in the garage. Chairs for the beach and stuff like that. Overall, it was great and we would stay again for sure!

2022 Family Vacation

The house was exactly as mentioned in the listing. It is beautiful and well kept! Everyone enjoyed the pool. The beach is about 5 minutes driving distance from the house.

My husband Tom, our dog Forest and I live in Middleton WI. As we get closer to my retirement from a 40+ year career in real estate, we opted to purchase a home in a warmer climate. Until then, we have opened our house to vacationers.

Why they chose this property

Our updated house is very user friendly. We have a wonderful heated swimming pool with a screened lanai. All of our furnishings were new and good quality. Leather auto recliners, 2 Smart TVs and internet service, Bose speaker.
All set for a beach day too. We have a wheeled beach cart with 4 -6 chairs, umbrella, cooler on wheels and beach towels.
In our yard we have burrowing owls and gopher tortoises. Both are endangered and protected, and a lot of fun to watch. No interaction, but a delight to see,.
