Kick back and relax at “Knot Stressed” in total comfort.

This single floor 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath offers all the comforts of a home away from home that will not disappoint. Self check-in, free wi-fi, spacious back yard with BBQ and fire pit (wood provided while it lasts) and picnic table.
Our Community offers golf (for a fee), playground, pickleball (for a fee), and basketball courts, Pro Shop with snack bar (open daily), one indoor and 2 outdoor pools, Tikibar (weekends only), restaurant (opens at 4pm with Happy Hour and specials from 4-6pm) and boat ramp and all are within walking distance or a very short drive. More information is contained in the House Manual.
Pool passes available upon request, are non-refundable, $15/day or $75/week Per Person plus a $50 Community fee, ages 4 and under FREE and must be purchased in advance by Owner. Request passes through your booking.
Please inquire about the boat ramp if you plan to bring a boat, there is a fee. There is room to park your boat on the property.
We are about 13 miles from a store so you may want to shop before you arrive.
Neighboring towns offer sightseeing and activities for all ages and interests.

Quaint house near Chincoteague

This is a cute, well mantained house with one large bathroom. It has a great sitting area for relaxing.

Great stay!

We were visiting family in Pocomoke City and this was the perfect place for us to stay. Comfortable beds. Bright and spacious. Great area! We enjoyed nice walks in the morning.

Secluded area 5 miles away from where we needed to be most of the weekend. Excellent home very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We were Knot Stressed

This property was perfect for our mini vacay! The restaurant at the marina was perfect and had a large variety. Great place to walk to. The house was perfect and super comfy for evening movies! The grill was great and perfect kitchen for meals. Host was on it and we would return!

Great location near my sister’s new home

It was great to be only one mile from our sister’s home for a family party. She was then able to open her home to other out-of-towners.Knot Stressed is great. Served all our needs and was the right price!

Perfect Place

We have family in the area and this was our second time staying at Knot Stressed while we visited them. It's the perfect size for our family of 4. It's clean, quiet, and equipped with all the necessities. We loved walking around the neighborhood and out to the water. We'll stay here every time we come to visit.

Our stay was great. How wonderful to come back to a cool and clean home after a HOT day seeing the ponies swim! The only suggestions we have are add some measuring cups to the kitchen and some towel hooks to the bathrooms. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!

We truly enjoy the serene atmosphere. The place was nice, spacious and clean. Mrs. Virginia was very attentive and responsive. I love how everything was labeled and easy to find in the kitchen. I will definitely return as we were close to family and able to visit Chincoteague. There was ample room for us and we loved the sunroom. The deer were visiting the property and surrounding area.

What a lovely home!

Visiting family for a birthday occasion, “Knot Stressed” suited us perfectly. The house was clean and well-appointed, and Virginia made the check-in and departure process as easy as I’ve ever seen. The community too, was a pleasant surprise with public pools and a nice restaurant option within walking distance. I’d definitely come back.

Lovely and comfortable home!

We were in town visiting family for a wedding, and this was the perfect place for us. The home is clearly well cared for and in great condition. We had everything we needed and appreciated the attention to detail. We didn’t have time to take advantage of most community amenities but our kiddo did have fun on the playground. We’d definitely come back if we’re back in the area in the future!

Perfect for family with young children

This house was perfect for our family with 3 young children. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The playground across the street is new and the kids loved it. The master bedroom was large enough for us to fit a pack and play. I appreciated the pretty garden and plants around the property and there was a hose outside we used to wash away the sand from the beach. Quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes away from Wallops, Pocomoke, and Chincoteague.

Immaculate home in a great development, incredible attention to detail.

This home is bright, clean and very inviting. It sits in a wonderful development that includes 3 swimming pools, restaurants, pickle ball and a golf course. The owner has thought of just about everything you could need....including reading glasses and beach towels. Very easy travel to all of the sights in Assateague and Chincoteague and we highly recommend.

Excellent property for family.

This property is immaculate. Extremely quiet neighborhood. The childs playground is across the street, my granddaughter loved it. The people were very friendly. The community restaurants are both very good. Chincoteague Island is a short ride. We found many fun activities. I highly recommend this property and the caretaker.

Just fantastic

Wonderful house, very clean and nicely decorated. WiFi was great, multiple TVs. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Beds we’re comfortable. Communication with Owner was excellent (she even put up a happy birthday banner for my kids)! I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Away from the madding crowd

Such a cute and comfortable place - well appointed and recently renovated. The house has ceiling fans in every room to keep the place cool, and skylights to provide natural light. Unlike staying in a hotel in Chincoteague itself, where the music from neighboring restaurants can go late into the night, this house is blissfully peaceful at night, but only a 20 minute drive to the island for a day at the beach or dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants.

True to Its Pictures & Description!

Loved the home and quiet neighborhood. Pictures accurately reflect the entire home. Owner is very responsive and helpful. While the community is 20-30 mins from Chincoteague, it is nice and well-kept, and it’s also nice to be able to separate from the bustle of the island a bit at the end of the day. The Marina restaurant has great outdoor seating with a nice breeze and we’d recommend the pool behind the mailboxes, as it’s less crowded and has a small slide.

My husband and I have lived in Captains Cove since 1998 and have seen it transform into the wonderful community it is now. The residents are friendly and courteous. We have a mix of those who own vacation homes and many of us live here year round.

Captains Cove is a community of what the Eastern Shore likes to call us “come heres”. We all realized the same thing, this is an afordable place where you can engage in your favorite sports of boating and golfing. We have 24/7 security and our neighbors are always there to lend a hand.

What makes this home stand out is it’s location. Although we’re not on the water, We are across the street from the basketball court, pickle ball, playground, outdoor pool, the Pro Golf Shop and the Grille. The Marina Club Restaurant, boat ramp, indoor and outdoor pools with Tiki Bar are only 2 blocks away, close enough to walk!
