Highland Woods vacation rentals

This house was the perfect spot for us to stay for a month in Tahoe to enjoy ski season. It was in a cozy neighborhood, walking distance to Steamers and the Hangar, a couple of our favorite bars, and just a few minute drive to other essentials in South Lake. The house itself was cozy, warm, and just spacious enough. It came with most cooking utensils, but no other essentials (e.g., no spices, olive oil, etc.), so I'd note to bring those. Wifi was good.Check-in was easy enough. I had some confusion regarding the snow removal situation, but guest services was quick to answer my questions. The only issue we ran into was a strange noise coming from the furnace. But, again, guest services was quick to help and a maintenance guy was able to come and fix the issue in less than 24 hours (needed to clean the furnace filter).Overall, it was a wonderful stay! I will cherish my fond memories of reading by the fireplace and our overall relaxing stay.

With a few minor exceptions everything worked well. We struggled a little with the digital lock. Liked being able to walk to Regan Beach. Other VRBOs usually have printed material and instructions but owners were very responsive when we had questions. A month with are son and grandchildren nearby was heavenly’

We pulled into the complex before this one & were nervous about where we were staying, the next parking over was the right location- we checked in no problem, opened the door to this adorable tiny space perfect for 2. We were especially excited about the fire place & hot tub after a day of hiking in the snow. We will definitely return for another time.

Lake Tahoe has been on our Bucket List to visit and being able to stay in this home just made it better. The home was well equipped with everything we needed, clean and comfortable. It was nice to come back to at the end of the day to relax.

Stayed in this house for a ski trip in Lake Tahoe. Close to Heavenly and a good mid point between northstar and kirkwood. Accommodations were perfect for a long term stay with plenty of room to work from home and relax. Host was very nice and always responsive

The home owner went above and beyond my expectations for my stay. He informed us of a major incoming storm the night before our trip, which helped my entire party arrive safely. The owner also decorated the entire cabin for our xmas trip, which really helped get everyone in the holiday spirit. The home owner greeted us at the door and gave us a thorough tour of the cabin and all of it's amenities, which there are many. The owner was nice enough to stop by on xmas eve and help us figure out the dishwasher so that we could have enough dishes for our family dinner. The location is fantastic! 15 minutes to all the casinos, minutes from ski resorts, minutes from groceries, walking distance to the lake, and lots of food options. It was an amazing family vacation, and we all got a chance to experience our first white xmas. My only slight complaint would be that they have this amazingly large tub downstairs that I wanted to soak in but couldn't get the tub to fill even half way with enough hot water, but we always seemed to have enough hot water for 8 people to shower.
