Located at the very popular family vacation or weekend get-a-way of Jacobs Landing, this is a truly unique condo that Vacationville is excited to add to our portfolio. The condo is an upper unit so there are stairs to get into the property. Once you enter the property on the main level you will find a nice size bedroom with a Queen size bed. Outside the bedroom is a bathroom complete with a shower. There is also a full size washer and dryer. Move forward into the main living area of the condo and you will find a large sectional sofa with a nice size TV. The deck has a view of the bay and is a lovely spot to watch the amazing sunsets. A large spacious kitchen is the perfect size for a larger family gathering. Lite snack or full meal, you will have everything you need. The second bedroom also has a Queen size bed and a set up bunk beds. This bedroom has its own private bathroom as well. Go upstairs and you will find a sofa that makes out into a Queen size bed. There are lots of toys and an additional TV upstairs. You will also find a 1/2 bath with a secret door that takes you into a small room set up to one a fun play area with toys and small beds. This condo is the perfect spot for a two family gathering or the hospitality suite for the girls long weekend or golf trips. As I shared earlier, a unique set up that is tastefully decorated and fun for everyone. While at Jacobs Landing you can enjoy the indoor pool, game room, racquetball court or outside tennis court. Walking distance to all Birch Bay has to offer we know you will love this property as much as we do. Don't forget to go to the beach for a fun beach fire and s'mores This property provides complimentary WIFI during your stay.

Great family getaway

The 5 of us had a great weekend getaway and the large space was perfect for our extended family in the area to visit. The rooms were spacious, kitchen was well stocked with cooking stuff, beds were comfortable and the renovated bathrooms were nice. Overall it was a great space and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

May Long Weekend

Birch Bay Condo

We really enjoyed our stay in Birch Bay. The location of this condo is perfect. Everything is new inside except the living room curtains, which need replacing. The upstairs kids bedroom doesn’t have windows and that made it extraordinarily hot for sleeping in the summer and unsafe from a fire perspective. Everything else was wonderful.

Spacious

Very spacious. Our contact, Rosemary, was very nice and quickly handled our minor issues. Overall, liked the place. If I had any suggestions it would be to remedy the musty smell and maybe add a recliner or maybe some way to add seating in the main room since it sleeps 10 but there is not enough room for everyone to relax in that area.

Roomy condo

My friend and I visited this house with our 5 kids ages 2-15. Plenty of space and beds for all of us. Roomy. The two living room areas were nice, and the play room full of kids toys was great. We also enjoyed the pool and ping pong table at the community center. As one other review listed, the musty smell was pretty overwhelming upon arrival, but we aired it out for a while and that helped a lot.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. The property was built in the 70’s and like most older properties if they sit empty during the winter for a while there can, be a slight closed up odor. As you say, if you air it out a bit it goes away. This only happens in the winter, spring, summer and fall never an issue. Our staff used to leave a window cracked before a guest arrived but then it got a little chilly inside. Thank you again and I am glad you enjoyed your stay

Birch Bay family vacation

We love staying in the birch bay area as it is centrally located between all of our extended family in the area. This property afforded a great area to stage for visits out to family as well as being able to easily get into bellingham and lynden. The only thing I noticed that was a bit unpleasant but easily fixed was the condo got incredibly hot and the rear screen was broken allowing a ton of bugs in while we tried to cool the place down. I was able to re-hang the screen door and started fans in all the windows and that cooled the condo down to a tolerable temperature.

Great home in a great neighborhood

We loved our stay here with family and kids. Overall, everything we needed was pretty much there. We could have used some serving spoons when we were dining in the home. There were only a few tablespoons available. The attic room is a bit cramped and only suitable for kids. It gets pretty hot in that room in the middle of the day in summer. However, there are some fans available for some air flow/ventilation in the attic room/space. The pictures make it look bigger than it was. We used the clubhouse pool, which was a great size. All the toys and games in the home made it fun for the kids.

Perfect for our family

This was the fourth unit we’ve stayed in at Jacob’s Landing and we were very happy with it. Most of our other stays over the years have been in one of the six waterfront buildings so this was our first stay further back on the property, but the unit itself is great, and the peekaboo views of the bay from the deck did not disappoint. The upper loft area did get warm in the afternoons and evenings, but the air conditioning unit up there made a big difference - definitely appreciated! Highly recommend this unit for a pair of families wanting to stay together - lots of space to stretch out and the furnishings in the living room were really nice (particularly enjoyed the giant screen TV for watching movies in the evenings). Our bed in the back bedroom was very comfortable and we didn’t hear any complaints from our kids or friends so I think the owner has done a great job at keeping things updated, clean, and comfortable for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Birch Bay Weekend

The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. Because the condo was not as clean as we had hoped she graciously is giving us a credit. She was super receptive to our situations we encountered at the property as we identified some items she may not have been aware that were broken. The condo is a bit run down. The slider on the deck is broken, deck was not clean for our arrival, front door screen is bent at the bottom and sticks, and the kitchen is very dated, a broken drawer very old cabinets etc. but equipped with the essentials as were the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the location was good. We did not use any of the amenities so can’t speak to those items. The condo worked for our stay just seemed pricey for the condition of the condo. We do a lot of VRBOs and looked at other condos at Jacobs Landing, picked this because it had the bunk beds.

Roomy and accommodating

Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms update and cleaned. Very nice place. Had a musky or moldy smell when we walked in, but once we turned in the heat it was warm and cozy instantly. I would give it a 5 star for perfect other than that! Thanks for renting it to us!
