Welcome to the “Beauty and the Beach” at Birch Bay, WA
This is a three bedroom 2 bath home located directly across from the beach. When you enter the property you will enter into what is known as a great room. A nice open area with the living room which includes a large. Please note that there is no cable tv but you do have WI-FI and have many channels via the internet/Roku and there is a DVD player with movies or you can bring your own. You will also find a nice dining area to host your family and friends. The kitchen is also in the great room and is well stocked to prepare a light snack or larger meal. Large fridge, oven, stove and microwave along with a dishwasher. Next you will find the other two bedrooms which has Queen size beds in each. The main bathroom and the laundry room with full size washer and dryers are located down the hall. The master bedroom has a king size bed and walk in closet along with a private bath to include large garden tub and shower. Also a sofa sleeper which is a double size (great for kiddos). Enough about this beauty with a spectacular view, let's talk about the Beach! The front has a nice size deck for you to sit out and enjoy the view. There is a basic propane BBQ for your use while at the property Across the street you will find beach access to your own private beach. Please know we can not cut beach grass but there is a path small and it takes you to the beach where you will find an area where you can make a beach fire to roast hot dogs or make Smores. Enjoy clam digging, crabbing, beach combing and much more. Experience some the best sunsets you will ever see, or so we are told. You are located about 15 minutes from the Canadian Border and about 3 hours from Seattle spending on traffic. Ride your bike to the restaurants, waterslides and other activities in the area. Don't have a bike, no worries you can rent one from a local shop. Enjoy home made candy from the C-shop and other events and activities. There is no wifi at this property but you will be so busy you wont need it. If you need garbage pick up while here just call our office and we will be happy to haul it off for you. This is a great property for a family or small group. You will not be disappointed.

Property was clean and had a great view. There was an additional chair in the living room than appeared in the pictures, so we could spread out. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the deck.

Beautiful location!!! We stayed here on a trip for our daughters state gymnastics competition and couldnt have been happier! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and was plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids, and our boxer dog. The scenery out the front windows was the best part. We all watched the ducks, bald eagles, a herons every morning and even got to spot a golden eagle. Also an easy walk to local eateries! Perfect vacation spot and not all touristy(at least when we visited in march)

This home has a nice layout and good open concept. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. The view is pretty and the location is great. Parking was super tight. I will say the home has very strong odors. If you are sensitive to fragrance it is pretty overwhelming, it smelled very strongly of carpet deoderizer. There is also a musty smell coming from the laundry room. If you're not sensitive to odors, this is a decent place to stay.

I hope this review will cover the upgraded property we got due to an unexpected water heater malfunction at the property I reserved in Birch Bay. The house was perfect for my family's gatherings to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. It was very nice that my parents could use the main floor bedroom/bathroom and not need to use the stairs for the lower and upper levels of the house. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, glassware and a nice BBQ for our three big meals we prepared with the eight of us. My only critisism was we wished we had more kitchen towels and 409 or similar product to wipe things in the kitchen. The host was very communicative throughout our stay. It was a lovely trip!!

The house was perfectly located across the street from the beach with beautiful views. Because of the storms lately though, it wasn’t a very clean beach space to enjoy a fire. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The furniture is really dated though.

The location and view of the house are wonderful. Overall, we had a nice trip, and I think the listing is accurate. The host's response time to messages was great. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only thing we could never locate was cutting boards. There was plenty of silverware, but some smaller salad forks and spoons for kids would be a nice addition.  The first evening when we were cleaning up dinner, we discovered the dishwasher was broken. The host responded quickly, and a repairman stopped by the following day. Unfortunately, a part had to be ordered so we were out of luck and had to hand wash dishes the entire trip. We discovered that some of the dishes and mugs in the cabinets still contained residue and needed to be washed before use, guessing a victim of the broken dishwasher that went unnoticed. The coffee maker also required a deep clean before use.The king bed was comfortable, but the 2 queen beds were very uncomfortable. Each bedroom had a tower fan in the closet, and there were plenty of bath towels, which was much appreciated. Our son was excited for the jet bathtub. Guessing it likely doesn't get used too often, we ran the jets 3-4 separate times to try to clean it out, unsuccessfully. No matter what we did, the jets continued to spit out gunk once turned on. I would rent from this host again if they offered a different, more updated house.

Beautiful house

I stayed here with my sister for the weekend and it was a wonderful place to stay! The house was very roomy in a fantastic location across from the beach. Will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect for family week !

Third year for family fun, perfect spot for us! Easy checkin, quick response customer service, only wish is an upgrade on kitchen accessories but we have learned to bring our own! Love this vacation

Great Mini Vacay at Birch Bay

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Beds were comfy! Prior to the stay, Rosemary was very quick to respond to questions and the check in was so easy. I would definitely recommend this place!
