Disappointing vacation

House was clean and as pictured. Kitchen was not well stocked (missing every day items). Outside area was dirty, pool filter not working for first 5 days of our vacation and heater never worked. Screens all broke n lizards are running wild and pooping all over. Tv outside not working, inside no live tv unless u put in your own info into tv. Also all windows are sealed with heavy duty plexi glass which I think is a fire hazard. The owner said all of the issues were out of his control. This does not seem to be correct. The man who came to replace the pool filter said the owner contacted him the Monday before we checked in, therefore he knew the pool wasn’t working. We had to go out and buy a coffee pot because the coffee pot was miniature, there was no butter knife, no blender, the toaster was a miniature Darth Vader toaster. We had to go out and buy propane for the grill which the owner did reimburse us for. The BBQ was disgustingly dirty and we tried our best to clean it. Every time we called the owner he was rude. He thinks nothing is in his control.

Property owner changed listing

Was listed as having heated pool and jacuzzi. When we get there we were informed we have to pay $40/day. When we opted to pay for 3 days for heating jacuzzi. It was discovered that there was no propane and it needed to be ordered. Wouldn't get there until after our vacation. And the owners excuse was they hadn't been to the property since summer. And that they didn't list heated pool and jacuzzi. But it was listed or how else would I have known prior to renting. I expressed to the owner that it was the only reason why I choose to rent the house was for the jacuzzi. They didn't care they already had their money.

Nice House

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was very clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The covered outdoor kitchen area was great for grilling and eating outside, even during our hot, mid-summer stay. The owner was very responsive and accommodating with our questions and requests. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
