Escape with family & friends to your private oasis. Walk up to a gorgeous lakefront deck that overlooks calm water and sits between our home & guest cottage. Come relax under the pergola, kayak on the water, or warm your feet by the fire. We sit on a private cove directly off the main LKN channel – so enjoy a private swim or bring your boat for a weekend of adventure. After lovingly restoring our home with fresh paint, flooring, & furnishings, we’re blessed to share our home with you and yours!

Great location on the lake! Dock is in great shape and kayaks were also in good condition. Amenities were fine but a bit dated. One bathroom is in the master bedroom so the other 3 bedrooms including one downstairs share the other.

Wonderful location

We loved this and would/will stay again! My only suggestion is that it is stocked more with kitchen supplies and more towels. That is essential when renting houses if the owner adds to that it is perfect!! These are the sunset views!

Wonderful retreat

Went there to work for a week. Location was beautiful and close to many things, including restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect place to spend the week!

Quiet and beautiful

This place looks great for families with kids who need a playroom, pool table, etc. I am not sure where everyone was that memorial weekend, but it sure was nice and quiet.

Relaxing weekend at the lake

My family and I came from out of town to have a relaxing labor day weekend at the lake and it was perfect. The house was very clean, cozy and spacious. The house also had pool, shuffle board and kayaks! Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone whoi slooking for a nice place by the lake.

Great Lake Weekend

This lake house was the perfect place for our girls trip! The house is on a nice quiet inlet where we were able to hang out on the dock and our floats each day. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of lake towels and when we needed more bath towels, Sharon had some delivered ASAP. Would definitely stay here again!

Lake weekend

This was a great location and comfortable place to stay for our group! It was a 5 minute drive to a grocery store and right on the water allowing our boat rental company to pick us up on property. The property was very clean and comfortable. Beach towels and firewood were provided which was a plus. Plan on bringing hygiene needs if needed (shampoo, body wash, etc.).Thanks for a great stay and easy check in process.

Girls Weekend

What a perfect weekend! The house was so cute and perfect our our girls weekend. We loved lounging by the lake all weekend! The property manager went above and beyond in making sure any concerns were dealt with and making sure we had a great weekend.

Wonderful porch and views. Home is located in a very peaceful cove. Several people took naps on the porch. Beds are comfortable. Carriage space is a nice addition. We enjoyed playing pool and indoor shuffleboard in the evenings. Very easy to dock our rental boat right at the dock. Cooking wasn't the easiest - everything stuck to the pans. Ice maker was slow; we had to buy ice for our drinks. A few of the doors need adjustment as they stuck pretty badly. Stairs the basement space were very steep and short.

Lake Front Galentine Cuties

For the past 3 years my girlfriends and I stay on lake Norman or Lake Wylie, filor our Galentine Bday Weekend. This property was perfect for our group of 9. The neighbors were friendly and we just felt at peace even though there was a lot of laughter and utensils chopping and or mixing a meal or sback. We had everything we needed The only reason i gave this a 4 is because were batteries dead or the remote just didn't work.. not a deal breaker when you have such a beautiful space. The only suggestions I'd make are turning the hot waterheatervto a temp above 110 in the fall and winter moths A few of us were freezing; it was 65 when we checked in and it was 50ish outside. It never seemed to get warm to some. I have saved this house for future stays on the lake, if im fitrtunate enough to have it available during my desired timfrmonths and g

Sophia, glad to hear you had a good weekend. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you mentioned. I wish you would have let me know during you stay about the issues that you experienced. The chance is pretty good the batteries in the remote went bad, I could have brought you new ones or check the remote to be sure it was working properly. The hot water is never adjusted and has always been at the allowable temp for years, with no complaints. The temp in house should not have been a problem. Did you try to adjust the temp to be comfortable? Again, had we known we would have immediately come to address it. The 4 stars is an unfortunate review rating as we had no knowledge of the issues you mentioned after you left, that we would have been happy to address for you during your stay.

Cute and overall great spot on the Lake

This was a great spot on the lake (in a cove) and we enjoyed kayaking and hanging out on the dock. Some cons to the house: we would have loved to have more outdoor chairs to enjoy (only 4 wooden chairs around the firepit and the furniture under the gazebo - nothing on the dock or on the decks). The property could use more frequent bug spraying to keep as many pests out of the house as possible (tons of things crawling in the basement area and the dinning area). The upper deck lights also didn't work when we were there so was hard to see up there and didn't feel like we could enjoy the gazebo at night just with all the bugs and not being able to see - would recommend to the owner to add string lighting to the upper deck gazebo and change the lightbulbs to the upper deck lights. The fridge water didn't work and the filter light was on but the ice worked and could use the sink water. Lastly, there was no shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. in either of the bathrooms so amenities not stocked.

Thank you for your review. With the property being on the lake it will certainly attract more bugs than normal. We have the property treated by a pest service regularly. Additional chairs have not been an issue to guests in the past, but we are happy to ad more seating for the future. Soaps, shampoos and conditioners are not mentioned in the listing as being supplied. Thank you again for the feedback.

Thank you for the 2 star review on our property rated Exceptional on Vrbo. Not surprised, since we had to charge you for damages that occurred during your stay. When the closet door is on the track before you arrive and then hanging off the track with the track bent and hinges broken after you arrive, we had no choice but to charge to repair damages. It's unfortunate, as is the the 2 star review, you felt to hit us with on what others know is an exceptional property.

Our property is recently updated with new paint, new flooring, all new furnishings, new kitchen items, new outside seating. We also offer an outside building, our cottage, where you can relax away from the main house and enjoy movie night as well as a game of shuffle board. There is also a refrigerator provided for refreshments.

What makes this property unique

Our lake house sits on an amazing cove that is private and quiet. Perfect for floating around on your favorite raft, kayak, paddle board, or just jump of the dock for a swim. Bring your fishing pole too!
