Dave and I are a semi retired couple, married since 1986 and live at our beloved Hummingbird Hill. We of course vacate our home when guests are present. We have two adult children and a grandchild on the way! We have been Airbnb hosts for 4 years and thought we would give VRBO a try. Why they chose this property
Our property is special because of its location on top of the Santa Lucia mountain with sweeping views from every window. It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown adorable Atascadero and 20 minutes to Paso Robles and the vineyards. People say our home hugs you when you enter.. it’’s not fancy or formal but very comfortable and quiet. The amazing Morro Bay with gorgeous beaches and great seafood is about a 25 minute drive. Hearst Castle about 45 minutes, and quaint Cambria with the Moonstone Beach boardwalk is about 30 minutes. The house itself has lots nooks and crannies to hide away with a good book and your coffee or wine. Our guests say our beds are comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. The front porch is a place of awe and back porch is great for outdoor meals. We planted a vineyard (very young) and 32 olive trees on our 5 acre parcel.
