About The Owner

We have been visiting Aruba for 20+ years and are delighted that we now own a piece of our favorite vacation paradise. Aruba is a welcome retreat from the cold northern winters and fabulous year round. We invite you to make your own Aruba memories in our vacation home.

The Owner purchased this house in 2009

Why The Owner chose Noord

A tranquil property that repeatedly exceeds guests needs, fantastic weather, safe drinking water, great restaurants, fabulous beaches and very friendly people make Aruba the ideal vacation location.

What makes this house unique

Our property is very private, ideally located close to beaches, restaurants and more. The best part of the house is the open floor plan with a private inner courtyard, where dinner beneath the stars or sunbathing on the lounge chairs are favourite activities.

Loved the House!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from spending a week in Aruba. This house was wonderful and has everything you need. It's in a great location for Eagle and Palm Beach. We spent a lot of time in the courtyard which was fantastic for eating our meals and having cocktails.

The property manager, Juan Williams, is awesome! He had to rescue us a couple times but always did it with a smile. The owners are also great - very quick response to emails. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Aruba.

Amazing time in Aruba at an amazing house

  • 5 of 5

We were here for two weeks and it was wonderful. It was our first time back since our wedding two years ago. The house is beautiful and the location is great. The open courtyard was fantastic for sitting out during lunch/dinner and especially at night staring up at the stars with a glass of wine. I loved the open feel to the house and the breeze is constant so you never feel too hot.

During our time there, we were able to have all sorts of great things. On one of our first few days there, we went skydiving. Skydive Aruba was a great company, they picked us up, they were professional and funny, and the landing site is just a few minutes drive from the house.

We also went scuba diving with a dive shop named Jads. They were also fun and friendly, and the dive was perfect. They took really good care of us (we're open water, but still kind of new to diving) and even though they didn't know the house address, they were able to pick us up at Super Food which is a grocery store just a minute away.

There are also tons of great restaurants very close by. We had dinner on the beach at Passions. We had the best meal I've ever had in my life at The Kitchen Table. We were close to White, which was fantastic, PamPams for a lower-key night, and pretty much all of the restaurants by the big hotels. Not only that, but we were pretty much within walking distance to the beach. It was 20 minutes maybe, so we often drove (thanks for the rental car!), but if you wanted to walk it was definitely possible.

It was also nice staying here because they had towels and beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, which my wife and I used very liberally. The whole trip was amazing, and this was a great home base for all of our activities. We absolutely loved it and will stay there again next for sure.

Great Home in Aruba!!

  • 5 of 5

This Is a wonderful home in Aruba. The outdoor living space is wonderful to enjoy the sunshine and breeze in the mornings. We have been to many Caribbean islands and Aruba is by far the nicest that we have visited. I never felt unsafe anywhere that I went on the island. The owners of the house are super nice and always are concerned about their guests. The property manager Juan Williams is absolutely the icing on the cake. Juan went way above and beyond by locating us a vehicle from a local company when Budget gave our car away due to a flight delay. My only caution is DO NOT RENT A CAR THROUGH BUDGET (if you want it to be there when you are). I highly recommend Aruba and this beautiful home.

The only way to go!!! A beautiful home away from home!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to Aruba and also our first time renting a VRBO out of the U.S.. We have been to Mexico, and St. Lucia and always had stayed at a resort. My husband & I have decided this is the only way to go, no more resorts. From the moment we walked in the front door we felt right at home. Everything was exactly as described and very well maintained. A beautiful peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Renting a car is a must!! The people of Aruba are fantastic. Everyone, everywhere was helpful & friendly. We had no fear, by the middle of our 9 day stay we blended in as a regular and drove around the island carefree. We shared many laughs with the Aruban people, no prejudice exists in Aruba, which is amazing considering the different nationalities amongst the island. Juan, the property manager, as well as Mildred, both are very down to earth and we feel so blessed to know them. Juan will help you with whatever your need may be, and we guarantee his smile will comfort you making you feel right at home.

To be truthful , we did not do a lot of the tourist adventures, we were basically Arashi beach bums... that being said we ate our breakfast in the courtyard, and our dinners (that we grilled ourselves) in the courtyard under the stars. The openness of the home is amazing and with the breeze blowing throughout, keeps you cool. As soon as we awoke, we took two chairs & sat on the front porch. We had our morning coffee there and listened to the singing of the birds as well as watching them. After breakfast we packed our lunch/beer in the cooler and we were off to Arashi!! In the late evening (after dinner) we also put two chairs on the front porch, drank some rum and pineapple juice, and reminisced about the day. Then when its time to call it a day, you lay down in a comfy bed that instantly soothes you to sleep.

The only items you need to bring with you are clothes, camera, and a laid back frame of mind. There is a Save-A-lot and Superfoods grocery store(s) minutes away. The home has all the necessities you need and then some. There is snorkel gear, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards ,a clothes line & if needed a washer and dryer. There are many restaurants minutes away, but the majority of the time we chose to eat at home. We did go to Bingo's for my birthday & that was great!

Dream no more & book it! Its One Happy Island! We booked again and are returning in August 2013. Can't wait! Thanks Les & Isla!!

Best visit to Aruba in 26 years

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just returned from a month in Aruba at this beautiful and comfortable home. We have been coming to Aruba for the past 26 years and this is the first time we have rented a vacation home on the island. The owners and their representative in Aruba are wonderful and gracious people. The home is equipped with virtually everything one would need from the dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, and garage door opener to snorkelling equipment, beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie boards. The layout of the home is a dream with an open courtyard in the middle of the home where we spent most of our waking hours enjoying Aruba's warm and breezy weather day and night. Don't stay in a hotel when you can have some privacy and quiet in this immaculate vacation home. Dine in local restaurants nearby like Pam Pam and Yami Yami or cook in in the perfectly equipped full kitchen.

Great 1st time stay at this Aruba house

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend this rental as everything that was advertised was delivered. Spotless house in a great location - very close to beaches and plenty of restaurants. The owner and Juan the caretaker were extremely helpful and made booking this rental very easy. All questions were answered promptly and efficiently. If you like a private setting as opposed to a crowded hotel this is an excellent option. We loved having the well stocked kitchen to cook breakfast and make our lunches. We would love to stay here again on a future return trip to Aruba.
