This Studio villa is amazing! The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort North Villas is a Five Star oceanfront resort located on one of the World's best beaches. Refer to our pictures, or visit the Westin Resort website for more room and resort pictures. Views are unobstructed and panoramic, and include nearby islands, sunsets and the beach.

The 480 sq. ft. studio villa has Westin's Heavenly King Bed and a Heavenly Queen Sleeper Sofa.

The Studio has its own private lanai, dining area, and has fully equipped kitchenette with granite counter tops, dish washer, cook top, microwave, dinnerware, blender, toaster, washer & dryer, 42 inch LED TVs, Bose AM/FM Stereo, DVD, over sized bathrooms with showers and large whirlpool tubs. Mid-Week cleaning is included

NOTE CONDO LOCATION: If booked under eight (8) months the Westin does not guarantee the view category. The actual condo is assigned at check in based on a WESTIN PRIORITY POLICY determined by the earliest date of the reservation, so book as early as possible. Depending on availability Oceanview and Oceanfront views are sometimes available and guaranteed even just weeks before arrival for a small premium (usually 10-15% higher).

West Maui is unique because it overlooks the channel between Maui and neighboring islands, Lanai and Molokai, which provide a beautiful backdrop to the ocean views. Enjoy unbelievable ocean views from your room or your balcony complete with outdoor furniture.

A General Store is onsite and carries a variety of items including food ready to grill on the poolside gas BBQ grills with tables for dining.

The onsite Westin Heavenly Spa is a full service spa for relaxation or workout at the State-of-the-Art Westin Fitness Center.

Three pools: 1) Main pool with lazy river, pool volleyball, and pool basketball, the Main pool has Pailolo Bar & Grill, a Sports themed poolside restaurant, with six LED TVs to keep up with the Mainland sports and news, 2) Adults only pool for relaxation, and 3) Kids pool with a pirate ship, play area, shuffle board, and putting greens.

Golf is everywhere! Championship golf courses are moments away.

The grounds are perfectly maintained with tropical flowers everywhere and a large Koi pond in the center of the resort to relax by. Whale watching from November to May. Beach Activities hut or the concierge can book activities or rent gazebos, or beach chairs. Rent From Maui Jim.

Had a great stay At The Westin. We were in building 8, ocean view. Everything was as presented and Jim was extremely helpful. Location is good and not in the center of "Downtown Kaanapali". Lots of families with kids. We visit Maui all the time and will make Jim one of our first calls when we next plan on going.

You have to stay here!

This is a great property! Perfect for families or a romantic getaway. Clean, beautiful condo, great lanais, great pool, great hot tub, great beach. You should definitely rent from Jim. He went above and beyond for us to make sure we had the room we wanted. I did not expect this from a VRBO owner. Jim gave us extra info, made great suggestions and took the time to answer every single one of my questions. I would definitely rent from Jim again.

Wonderul, Relaxing, a dream vacation spot!

My family and I go to Maui every year, and every year we rent from Jim. Jim completely takes care of us, reserves one of the best ocean front condos, sends detailed information on what’s new at the Westin Villas and what do, eat and see in Maui. The Westin is beautify, three pools, several dining options, two grocery stores, two gyms and the best customer service. There is also a fee shuttle to Whalers Mall and Lahaina. They really make you feel at home and welcome. My daughter loves the water slide and Koi pond. The condo is within walking dissonance to Dukes, which has the best Mai Tai’s. We will continue to rent from Jim every year as we have had nothing but the best experience!

Wonderful vacation at the Westin!

We had a great vacation at the Westin. We were there in February 2011 and had a 2 bedroom Oceanfront room. It was myself, my husband, my parents and our two children, ages 1 and 3.5. The rooms were clean, well furnished and outfitted. The Heavenly Beds are awesome! This was our second time staying at a Westin in Maui. During our honeymoon in 2003 we stayed at the Westin Hotel and Spa, which is just down the road from the Villas. We have come to expect a good experience at Westin resorts, and the Villas did not disappoint. Jim was a pleasure to work, and very honest in our dealings throughout. He always answered my questions promptly and even went the extra mile in sending me travel brochures and his recommendations for Maui (sightseeing tours, eating out, transportation, etc.) Jim and his wife have been travelling to Maui for over 20 years. He knows a lot about the island. Not every owner of this timeshare who I called was as forthright. I guarantee you that! Some of them gave me a little bit of the runaround. But not Jim. The kids pool/pirate ship was a huge bonus for us, as our 3 year old could walk around in it and have a blast. It is only 1.5 ft. deep. We also utilized the free crib for our 1 year old. The resort also will bring you a high chair at no cost. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the beach was no exception. All the staff we encountered were nice and friendly. The Aloha spirit is definitely alive at the Westin Oceanfront Villas!

This is the last time we stay at a Westin and possibly using VRBO

I am going to give you all the information that we have. On November 5, we made a reservation with one of your homeowners. We booked an Oceanfront, North Villas, Studio with a Whirlpool tub and a Private Lanai at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. At that time we made the deposit required to reserve the unit. On November 5 we received a confirmation from VRBO that our unit was reserved. On January 25, we made our final deposit for our reservation which was booked from April 30/May 14. On January 25, VRBO sent a confirmation that our last deposit was received. When we arrived at the Westin on the 30th of April we were given an Oceanview studio room in the South Towers, no whirlpool tub and no private lanai. We did contact the homeowner through VRBO and he said that he thought an "oceanview room was better than an island view" and didn't address the fact that we didn't have the whirlpool tub or the private lanai. To say we feel like this is a bait and switch would be putting it mildly. I can't tell you how disappointed we both were. We feel if you can't offer a property as you described it, don't you think you owe the person booking your property the chance to say no by telling them the truth at the time of booking? Give them the opportunity to make the choice if they want a different room than described. Booking six months out, I know even VRBO had other places we could rent that would have suited what we were looking to book. We were not given that opp.

Relaxing Maui Stay

We had a nice relaxing time. Our room was perfectly located. There are bbq pits and dining tables for your convenience or you are right on the beach walk and can walk to a dinner/food location. There was plenty of room on the beach to enjoy and the pool was fun also. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Don’t hesitate to book !

Perfect stay at the Westin with an amazing ocean front view that totally spoiled us . I wish I could attach a picture it was that beautiful. Jim was extremely helpful and communicative and had great tips for our trip. We will definitely be booking again and I would not hesitate to do so if you are looking to get to Maui. Best Vacation Ever!

First timers to Maui, we booked through Jim because of his past great reviews. It was important to us to have a room with a great view, so we were sure to book a year in advance because rooms are assigned based on how early you book. We had a top floor ocean front room in building 8 amd it was perfect! The condo was clean and spacious and the balcony view was unbeatable. Check in and out were easy, the resort grounds were gorgeous. Nice pool area and the pool/beach bar was great. Location convenient to everything we wanted to do. 10/10 would book again. Jim is super responsive to messages and provided lots of helpful tips for our stay. This trip to Maui has been our favorite family vacation so far. Mahalo!!

We were at this resort with three separate reservations . this was the only reservation that had ants throughout the suite. We had the exterminator in three times over the course of the week and they weren’t successful in getting rid of them.. Really put a negative tone on our stay..

The location & resort are very nice, the oceanfront view room is great, the beach is not crowded (2nd week of July) & very accessible with snorkeling a couple of fins stroke away. A family week with lifetime memories. We will go back.

Excellent Vacation spot

We stayed at this Westin condo in May 2013 for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The studio condo was PLENTY big enough for the two of us and although we booked outside the '8 month limit' the Westin worked with us to get us into a room with ocean view. Clean updated room, very nice pools, and probably some of the best beach on the island. Already trying to plan another trip for next year and would without a doubt come back here.

2013 Stay in Maui

Had the most amazing time in Maui, my condo at the Westin Maui Ocean Resort made the whole vacation even more wonderful! The room, view and amenities are first class. All three restaurants are delicious and convenient. There are three pools and one adult only pool, my daughter took full advantage of the waterslide. I will continue to go through this particular owner for all my Maui stays! Thank you for taking care of our stay at the Westin Maui Ocean Resort, I can’t say enough good things about it!!

Dream vacation

We had such an amazing week at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas! Jim was a huge help to me from my very first e-mail. I had a lot of questions about the property and the process, and he walked me through everything. He was a huge help in making sure we got the kind of view we wanted, and his recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot-on. The resort itself was ideal for us. We had an oceanfront 1-bedroom, and I could have spent the week just sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. The unit was spotless and beautiful. We did have one problem with the washer during our stay; the service desk sent someone up to fix it within an hour. I guess my ultimate recommendation would be this: We are saving up for our next trip to Maui and we hope to rent from Jim again!

We were married in Maui and have been coming back to Maui each year for over 35 years. We have visited all of the other islands and none compare in diversity, convenience or beauty of Maui. The saying Maui No Ka 'Oi means 'Maui is The Best!' and we completely agree! You must come and visit Maui to experience the difference for yourself.

What makes this property unique

The Westin provides a free inter resort shuttle to Whalers Village and a free Lahaina shuttle downtown that saves you $600-$700 per week in car rental and parking. If you desire to tour the island Avis and Budget are located across the street and will pick you up at the Westin, daily car rental rates are $50 to $70 per day.
