270 Oia's View House IV is an amazing villa with a private swimming pool and a panoramic unobstructed view of 270o towards the village of Oia, Thirasia’s cliffs, the islands of Folegandros, Sikinos, Antiparos, Ios, Naxos, Amorgos and the unique Sunset of Santorini.

E. Vasilakis, architect and owner, designed and constructed the Villa with extreme respect to the natural landscape and the well known Santorinian traditional bioclimatic architecture. High quality materials combined with the traditional methods of Santorini’s technicians gave an outcome of fully functional interior spaces and excellent minimal aesthetic completely adapted to the unique scenery.

Just 700m from the main pedestrian street of Oia and with a number of quality restaurants nearby, the guest has the option to enjoy privacy far from the crowds or visit the village within a few minutes. The famous hiking trail that connects Oia with Fira is also adjacent to the property providing the unique experience of walking along the edge of the caldera cliff while enjoying the amazing views.

The location also offers the rare advantage of car accessibility considering that Oia is a protected village where vehicles are not allowed to cross. Furthermore free parking space is provided in our premises for our guests. The nearest bus stop is in 50m in case somenoe wishes to explore the whole island using public transportation.

The house (105 sqm) can accommodate up to 6 persons. The villa has 2 bedrooms at the main level (king beds) each with a private bathroom plus a sleeping area (2 single sofa/beds) in the secondary small livingroom next to the bedrooms. At the same level, you can find the main living room and a staircase leading up to the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room and a third smaller bathroom. Both levels have immediate access to the outdoor space.

270 Oia's View House IV, is designed and located in such way so that the resident can enjoy space and privacy. The house has its own private plot and swimming pool where any outdoor activities can take place among built sitting areas and landscaped gardens with automatic plant watering system. The volumetric and morphological approach to the traditional local residential architecture along with the use of natural materials and bright colours blend effortlessly with the unique scenery of Santorini. Just amazing !!

Excellent stay, just perfect !! Amazing house with great service from the personnel and the landowner. It's really worth it. I went there with my teenagers and we had a blast in this house. The pool is really great (11mx4m), the house is really beautiful inside and outside, the view is comparable to the most famous views of the world !! You will for sure enjoy the house and the service. Housemaid is made everyday and refreshments + red wine + everything for breakfast was given and replaced every day (breakfast). I will definitely recommend to stay here, it's 15 min by walk to Oia the main village.

Our family had never been to Greece, but we had used VRBO before in other locations with great luck. Although the photos and descriptions of the property were magnificent when we first saw them, we were a bit apprehensive booking a property in such a faraway destination not knowing anything at all about the country, island or any of the local properties. I have to say that when we arrived we were all blown away as to the quality, beauty and design, and features and service we received from Manos and his staff!

They provided us with quite impressive preparation and attention during our stay. The pool was cleaned each morning, the delightful housekeeper came in every midday, the maintenance crew worked around the yards of the properties off and on all day. Everything was maintained at a five star quality level. Manos gave us suggestions, maps and answered all of our questions. The property itself was stunning: We had our own pool, outside and inside dining areas/tables large enough for our large group, the grounds were gorgeous, the hiking trail which connects Fira to Oia was literally right outside our back door and a short walk through the garden. We could see the sunset perfectly from our two patios/decks. All of the bedding, towels and accessories were of the highest quality. We ALL talked about how comfortably we slept. The interior design looks like something out of an architectural digest: the artwork, the lighting, the furnishings were all of the highest quality.

If I were to make this trip again knowing what I now know about Santorini, I would not change one thing about it! This is in major part because Manos did such a great job of helping us to think through every little detail and providing us with suggestions and information ahead of time so we could make informed decisions and were not disappointed or frustrated one bit with any aspect of the trip. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon this island and this property and I definitely will return.....probably again and again. Even after having driven all over the island many times, I feel this location and THIS PROPERTY is the perfect choice to both enjoy modern day, five star amenities, yet combine that with the incredible architecture, ambience and culture you will only find in a place like Santorini. My entire family gives this trip and this property a 6 star rating, on a 5 star scale!!

Serene, beautiful, intoxicating honeymoon locale

After doing a lot of research on Santorini Island and looking at photos of rentals there, 270View stuck out because it seemed to be in a nice spot.

Manny is an architect and has built the building into the hill, incorporating some of the natural rock inside. It's very cool and pleasantly cave-like in the bedroom, and airy in the kitchen and dining room area. The decor is very minimalistic, white wood, glass, and stainless steel. The view from the pool area is gorgeous. The place is spotlessly maintained, with daily cleaning service. We were lucky that Manny was there to greet us when we arrived, because in addition to the other little amenities that are listed in the property description, the owner is a great source of information about where to go and what to do in Santorini.

We went during early October of 2012, in what is called the "shoulder" season. It really made a difference, because the temperatures were still quite warm, but there weren't the crowds associated with the high season.

One other "amenity" that came with 270View house: Like a lot of places in Greece, the house was the territory of a particular cat. Ours was a calico who came in to see us after we go settled into the place. She always was there to see us when we got up in the morning and when we came back from being out at night, and especially when we had anything to eat! It was nice to sort of be "adopted" by a local.
