It is a very nice property and accommodated our family well for my daughter‘s wedding however, we did not know about the train and the frequency in which it passes which led to all of us having very poor nights of sleep. Make sure you pack some ear plugs

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
House is very nice and clean. Description is accurate. Location on river is nice but there is a fair amount of noise from the train tracks and traffic noise from the bridge. We went in the fall and had some issues with Japanese beatles getting in to the house, which can happen in Iowa in the fall. There are also a lot of lights around the house due to location which were something of a distraction. Rental fee is overpriced given noise and location to bridge.
This property is well appointed and has a beautiful view of the river. There were 10 of us staying and we had plenty of room to relax and have privacy. The location is great for fishing, boat rental, and it has a convenience store very near. The train tracks are near which adds to the charm in our opinion. Ear plugs provided worked well. I highly recommend.
Property was exactly as posted. Great views and within walking distance of all needs. Good parking. Kitchen had all the necessities and extras that previous guests had left. Great host and great communication. Easy check out. Only downfall was the train horns in the middle of the night. Would definitely stay again.
This host is the real deal. We were struggling with the loss of our mother and we found this wonderful place to gather together. Everyone was so comfortable at this beautiful and unique home. They truly thought of everything! The view is stunning and there was so much to do on site from just hanging with family to enjoying a sauna or hot tub. Don't hesitate to book this great spot for your family
loved the windows even on a cloudy day, quiet except for the trains, lots of room and areas so you don't bump into one another

Randy,
We are so happy you loved the windows and view and found the home roomy and accommodating. Thank you for treating the home well and you are certainly welcome back anytime!
We stayed here for a family reunion. It fit our immediate family of 14 perfectly and a nice crowd of more family one evening. Great fun for kids to watch trains, boats, barges, and speed boats. Loved our stay!

We are thrilled you were able to make the most of the area and we agree the home is close to lots of great things to do! Thank you Jill and hope to see you again in the future!
Spacious area to gather with family to celebrate mom's 70th birthday. Well stocked. Lots of towels (always seems to be an issue at other VRBOs we have been to).
We had 12 ladies stay here. We all enjoyed ourselves, and had plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the deck and covered porch/fire pit area at night.
