This log cabin was amazing! The views along the river and the sunsets were very vibrant. The cabin was very clean, homey and perfect for our long weekend getaway. We would love to visit again !
We absolutely loved this property! It is beautiful inside and out. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO properties. This cabin was one of the best. Everything we needed and more was provided. Small details such as night lights were appreciated. Very clean. Incredible view!! Had some difficulties with the TV. Kevin responded immediately and helped us. Highly recommend this property!

Thanks for staying with us! We appreciate how clean you left our cabin, you were great guests! If there's anything we can do to make the stay better, please let us know.
Beautiful cabin with an awesome view and large deck. Check-in was easy with an access code. Would recommend parking on the side unless you have 4 wheel drive due to the rocks. Well stocked kitchen with basic seasonings, soaps, detergents, garbage bags, etc. Extra toiletries was a nice bonus and some chocolates out for us was thoughtful! The games were nice and the adults competed against each other on multiple metal puzzles that were there. We participated in local activities and did a lot of exploring in nearby towns and over into Iowa. Very beautiful scenery! Recommend checking out McGregor, Iowa, Pitosi Brewery, Wyalusing State Park, and Pikes Peak.
My husband and i stayed in this beautiful log home with another couple the last 3 nights. The pictures dont do it justice. We felt at home right away and all the thoughtful touches left by the owners were much appreciated. We were greeted with a basket of goodies, cold bottled water as well a water cooler in the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. The beds had beautiful linens and were quite comfortable. We spent alot of time on the huge outdoor deck overlooking the river. We had a question during our stay and Kevin responded within minutes of us sending a message. I highly recommend this property and we hope to stay there again when we are in the area!
This cabin is spacious and has a family friendly layout. The large windows have a beautiful view. It is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The washer and dryer are easily accessible. The hosts go above and beyond to provide what you need. There are 3 things to be aware of. This is a railroad town so don’t be surprised that you hear trains at all hours. You will be drinking bottled water (provided by the hosts) due to the type of well used. And, the deck is difficult to use due to birds and the evening setting sun. (I do wish there were blinds to help with the evening sun’s glare.). But, having said all of that, we would definitely return.
