Charming Guest House

Enjoy your stay in the charming mission style guest house located in the historic Downtown Riverside, walking distance to the Mission Inn, Convention Center, RCH, RCC, Cheech Museum, Fox Theatre, Food Court, and all that Downtown has to offer. About 3 miles from UCR and CBU.
We are very micro-organism (Covid, etc) cautious and engage is extra cleaning and disinfection. The space is clean and comfortable, located in an old neighborhood with many trees. Photo of government ID required at time of booking and also prior to Check In. While on the VRBO platform double check that you have the icon on your computer that allows you to attach and send photos. It may not be accesible from i pads.

Housekeeping fee includes light housekeeping only. Trash: once your trash can fills, neatly tie the bag, gently drop it over the side of the porch into the larger outdoor trash container.
Please place all towels and used dish and cleaning rags in the bathroom, in provided hamper. Leave the beds unmade, the cleaners will remove the linens and blankets for laundering.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Vee is an excellent host! She was very accommodating and attentive and it was extremely easy to communicate with her. I had some difficulty sending her the required documents for property rental but she worked with me closely and helped through the entire process. The property is a beautiful older home in downtown Riverside. It is truly immaculate and obviously well loved and very well taken care of.I would definitely stay here again. Again, an awesome host with a beautiful, immaculate home, who goes over and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay!

This guest house is perfect and the host is fantastic. The home had everything I needed. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom has all you need. The host left water, coffee, and a lovely snack basket for my arrival. This home is super clean and well cared for. Communication was fast and easy. I am very hot natured so it was wonderful to have the AC unit in the bedroom. Such a cute place, I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Riverside Getaway

The cottage was adorable, clean and very comfortable. The location is great, close to downtown Riverside but in very quiet neighborhood. Its is just blocks away from Mount Rubidoux Park where we took a wonderful hike up to the Peace Tower. Definitely a great space to spead time with family or friends.

The perfect host. The perfect house.

The house is very clean, and very well maintained. It has plenty of room in every room of the house. Loved the living room! Our host (Vee), was amazing. She had snacks and drinks when we checked in, she put a flower in the bedroom for my wife, a very nice touch. The neighborhood is quiet, will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay with a Great Host!

Highly recommend this cute cottage in downtown Riverside, safe location and close to everything. Check in/out super easy with separate private entrance. The home has a large living room for relaxing, a large kitchen with large refrigerator, micro, stove/oven, coffee pot & table/chairs, large bedroom with dresser and closet and a large bathroom, all fully furnished with linens and towels. Stayed there nearly one month and it was a great stay. Thanks to the host!

This was a great property to stay at! I really liked the overall communication and the comfort that I got from talking with the owner. All the information she gave was accurate. The pricing with the discount was very reasonable. The vrbo came with everything you would need and more. Very clean! I felt safe which is huge and the location was in a great spot with easy accessibility to grocery stores, dining, laundry, and more.I would highly recommend! :)

Overall true to listing, previous reviews prepared us for high guest standards regarding rules and procedures. Very clean, with numerous bottles of hand sanitizer and a package of surgical masks available. Ample extra toiletries, excellent towels, kitchen tools beyond the often skimpy few available in other rentals. We appreciated the many snacks, bottled water, fruit provided. We did not cook anything other than simple breakfast because the rules list in the rental stated that host did not want any food with significant odor prepared in the rental, worded even more strongly than initial messages from the host. We did not receive the actual address to the unit until about an hour before our arrival, so had to stop in town in order to update navigation instead of being able to drive straight there. Check in required pics of ID taken in front of the unit door, then selfie taken inside once we received the lock code. Very strict instructions to avoid allowing anything except soapy water to go down the drains, squeegee shower to retrieve all hair from drain screens, understandably important in a home with aged plumbing. Toilet flushed well, single ply paper use only. Quite narrow and uneven paver path across the lawn to the entryway. Note that this is in the pictures in the description, I did not realize that these are one foot square pavers. Flashlight highly recommended when arriving at night. Lovely Mission style details in this historic Riverside unit in quiet neighborhood.

Unique Treasure on Tree-lined Street

What a treasure this comfy little home with great location, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that feels safe. Vee is thoughtful of details and amenities that make for a congenial stay and cheers a weary traveler. It is helpful for the check-in process to understand as many details as possible, hours before arriving. We needed to leave a bit earlier than expected, and Vee was exceptionally helpful through some unforeseen circumstances that arose in the leaving process. (Sadly in our city, homes near ours actually burned down in the 4th of July festivities). Hopefully next time we won't leave in a hurry and can stay longer and drink in the serenity:) If you want a quiet, clean, congenial place to stay, this is it:)

Comfy & quiet

Neighborhood is quiet & was easy to locate. The home is perfect size for 1-2 ppl. I stay here often when traveling to this area for work. Host is friendly & has accommodated various arrival and departure times for me which is why I return. About the space: Kitchen is equipped with full size kitchen appliances. Very nice for a smaller home. Small table for 2 is perfect in the space. Bed & pillows are comfortable. There are soft & firm pillows so you can sleep with what you prefer which is an extra nice touch in my opinion. Bathroom has full sized tub & shower combo. Lots of mirrors. Very spacious & could accommodate 2 ppl easily getting ready at the same time. Living room has comfy couch & nice corner desk. Easily held my laptop & additional monitor. Plus my notebook which made working very easy.

Nice area, many trees, much history and interesting architecture surround the property.
Property is walking distance to Downtown, Mt. Rubidoux walking trail and much of what Downtown has to offer. The bike path goes all the way to the beach.
Security cameras are around the perimeter of the property.
Overall a quiet neighborhood with some "wildlife" (squirrels, possums, cats, birds, rarely racoons, and skunks). In the warmer months other "wildlife" may include mosquitoes and flies.
