Located at the end of a peninsula with stunning lake views, this modern but cosy cottage will appeal to those looking for a tranquil and quiet location. Three large second floor bedrooms all enjoy walk out to private upper deck. Wood burning fire place. Outdoor fire pit with complimentary wood. Bring your own boat and take advantage of your exclusive dock and boatslip. Plenty for the family to do with TWO NEW PADDLEBOARDS and KAYAKS, corn hole and the best fishing right off your dock. Fully stocked kitchen, TV/games room, large deck and gas grill. Property is dog friendly, we do ask that you keep dogs on the ground floor or outside only. A $200 pet fee applies. Backyard is fully fenced - perfect for your dog. 10 mins to dining, marina, groceries.

The views from the property were incredible, and we loved the modern bathrooms and overall cleanliness. The fenced-in yard for our dog and extra toys was a huge perk and made our trip even more fun. Also loved the fire pit with lake views too!
This was a sunrise just a short 2 min walk across the street. You can see the sunset on the lake from the property’s dock!

The pictures do not do this house justice! House was much bigger than it appears in listing. Property was beautiful with the lake right outside the door. Beautiful views and good fishing right from the dock. Plenty of room for 4 adults, an infant, and the dog. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lake view from every bedroom.

Check in was easy, the home was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the lake. We fished everyday from the dock. We were impressed with the updated kitchen appliances and counter tops. The sunset was beautiful. I would highly recommend this house.

Decent - but unpleasant surprise day before arrival

House is nice, but at this price point should be much cleaner. Make sure you take house slippers and shower shoes. Information regarding the upstairs being a pet free zone was not disclosed in the VRBO posting and we were not advised of this until the day before our arrival (we were offered a refund but at that late point with everything else paid for too, that was not an option). That has now been added to the listing so they have that covered. The property is not totally pet or smaller child (7 or less maybe) friendly as there is a very large rock wall between the backyard and the lake with a 3 foot drop that anyone or anything could walk right off with lots of big rocks in the water there to land on (you can partly see this in the pic). Besides the uncleanliness of the house & yard and the last minute surprise of the pet free zone upstairs, we still had a decent vacation.

Really enjoyed the property. It fit the 7 of us quite comfortably. The only suggestions are the mattress in the master. We had a little problem with the water pressure. I would truly to stay there again!

This place was awesome. It had everything we needed and it was so peaceful. We are definitely coming back as the house and Lake Norman was incredible. So much to do in the area and at the property. The owner was fantastic and easy to contact. 5 Stars from our family and our small little dog loved watching the boats go back and forth all day on the water. You can’t beat the views.

Great home on quiet street

We loved our stay here. The home is located on a quiet dead end street and no traffic concerns. The home is clean, well stocked, and has amazing sunset views. A phenomenal place to enjoy an afternoon beverage from the patio or 2nd floor deck while watching the beautiful North Carolina sunsets on Lake Norman.

Property Review

The property had a beautiful view of Lake Norman. It was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation spot. Very quiet area. The house overall was suitable for all of our needs. The cleanliness of the house when paying a $200 cleaning fee was not of satisfaction. Major concern was when speaking with the host regarding the bed linens - I was informed that the comforters on the beds ARE NOT washed after each guest leaves and then placed back on the beds for the next guest. The master bath had dust bunnies that was highly visible on the top of the cabinet above the commode. My concerns are if the cleaning crew even cleaned the bathrooms. In the master bath, the shower backed up and one of the sinks in the master bath was clogged (thank goodness for draino). It is an older home and problems will happen at times as with any home. This will be the 3rd VRBO rental that my family has used and this home was the least clean. The other two homes we rented in regards to cleanliness were immaculate.

Well-equipped private property!

We had a wonderful stay! The house included so many extras not typical of rentals that made us feel at home. The kayaks were a huge hit! It was so nice having them available (plenty of life jackets too!) to use whenever we wanted to throughout our day. The location is perfect and very private! butohhhhhhhhhh

Peaceful retreat

This Lake Norman property was just what we needed to decompress a bit. It’s in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the lake. We rented a boat during our stay and it was nice to be able to dock it. Kitchen is very well stocked with everyday items. The fenced yard was very helpful with our two doggos.

What a view

We had a lovely time visiting with family. The house was accomodating, well stocked and had comfortable beds. We brought along our dog and were especially appreciative of the private location and fully fenced, large back yard. Lots of fog and rain while we were there, but when the sun broke through....oh what a beautiful view. Large windows on the lower level and access to a deck from all three upstairs bedrooms. When the grands came to visit they loved the fooseball table. Gas and Groceries were just short10 minute drive Host was responsive and left us a full spring water dispenser and wood for the fireplace.

Overview

We had a very nice five days at this beautiful spot on the lake. We appreciated that there were all the “toys” that you would want on a property like that, including cornhole, fishing poles, boardgames, etc. The beds were very comfortable, everything we needed, for the house was provided, and the views were unbeatable! Also, the property owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I would say is that we had a difficult time with the television, and trying to figure out how to get some local channels, and while we are new to Vrbo, we were shocked at the final price because it seemed to be double what we thought we were going to pay for the rental, and it was actually advertised for. Overall a very positive experience though🙁

Dog friendly property

We were in town for a short visit with family. The property was located 3 miles from them so very convenient for us. This property was spacious, cozy and clean. Perfect location

This was a wonderful home with perfect location. We visit Lake Norman every year and we try new homes. The location of this home is absolutely perfect!!! Also if you have a dog which we did it was so great as the entire backyard is fully fenced. I highly recommend this beautiful home.
