Northville Getaway

What a great loft apartment for a getaway (my wife’s birthday) close to our grandsons and their parents. We loved the apartment itself, and the location right on Main St in the Northville Social District was THE BEST. We are already looking forward to going back!

Cute, comfortable condo

This is a nicely furnished 1 bedroom 1 and 1/2 half bath condo with walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. Plenty of extra linens and a nice washer/dryer. Kitchen is spacious with lots of seating. Very convenient and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay again.

In 2000 I opened a clothing boutique in the lower level which I had for 20 years. In 2005, I purchased the building and totally gutted the upstairs. It was always an apartment but hadn't been touched since the early 60s. It was a project that took over 2 years to complete. Nineteen of the 20 years I had the shop, I was president of the merchants association and was very involved in the community. I decided to retire in 2020 and now rent the lower level to another retailer and of course, have the loft upstairs. I have had people from all over the world staying there which has been so much fun for me.

Why they chose this property

This building is the oldest commercial building in downtown Northville. It was built sometime before 1813. The location is perfect as it is centrally located in downtown Northville, just steps away from the many popular restaurants, great shops and parks.

What makes this property unique

The Plymouth/ Northville area is home to numerous parks and recreation sites that are all good for biking and hiking.
