Cozy, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated!!

My 18 year old son and I stayed 2 nights for KU freshman orientation. Close to campus and right in the heart of Mass Street shops and restaurants. It was perfect!

Great location

If you know Lawrence, you already know what a fun location this is for food and enjoying downtown. If you don't know Lawrence, be prepared for some night time noises. We didn't mind the noise, didn't keep us up and mostly made us jealous we couldn't join!

A Location

Property was sufficient for what we needed. Family of 3, enough room and things available to make a comfy stay. The beauty in this place is the location. I dont think you could ask for a better spot in town. Park the car and walk everywhere you could want to go. Great food, shops, entertainment are mere steps away. Will be back

Great Mass Street stay

We came to Lawrence for the Kansas Brew Fest. The place was in an excellent location for walking around downtown Lawrence! Very close to restaurants, bars, and shopping.

Nice Place

Very clean, plenty of room. It’s on the busiest street in town with lots of foot traffic, so there is some noise. But that being said, the location outweighs any foot traffic noise. Very convenient spot.

Even though we had hiccups in getting in loft apartment we had a good time. Bathroom tub we cleaned before we used because it was needing it.

Wonderful stay in the heart of downtown Lawrence

I came Kansas to visit my kids and grandkids and the rental was a very nice and comfortable. My daughter and the grandkids stayed in one of the rooms together and we had some fun sleepovers during my stay. I was a little nervous staying by myself but I felt very safe. It was fun being right on Mass street and meeting my family at the coffee shops right downstairs. A very good vacation spot. Would definitely recommend!

Great place right on Mass st

Overall great experience staying here - communication with hosts was amazing (better than another vrbo I’ve stayed at!), and the apartment was so cute and clean! We only had one issue and Angela came quickly to help resolve it! Mass st was really busy on cinco de Mayo so it was a little loud, but what a great location to venture out for coffee or shopping. Thank you for accommodating us!

Don’t stay here!

The noise level from the street is exceedingly LOUD. Vehicle engine noise and sidewalk pedestrian voices reverberate up off the brick building street corridors directly into the bedrooms. Vulgar, profane shouts from the bar crowd are frequent. Impossible to sleep until 1:30am. Also, apartment is not nearly as nice as the pictures suggest. There are safety concerns regarding flimsy door locks as well. Very poor experience - not recommended.

Convenient location

The host worked with us on check in time and accommodation for days which we really appreciated. Location is easy walking distance to all bars on Mass and home from a football game. There were loud buskers on the street outside the window till about 2 am so that was interesting and the whole place smelled like Pickleman’s (not the worst smell). For the cost, I would love to see a wine opener and at least 2ply toilet paper next time. With those it would be a five star joint because I think the other things are to be expected with the location.

Loved the old downtown building and original stone walls!

The property is very nice, clean and spacious. Great communication and very rapid replies to all questions! Would be 5 stars except the listing does not say there are very steep stairs to access the unit. It was difficult for 3 older adults (65-68 yrs old) to go up and down the stairs with bad knees and luggage. Please update the listing with that critical piece of info so those of us that are older can be sure we understand that. I'm certain it is not an issue for younger guests.
