Our 3BR Urban Retreat includes 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 twin beds & 1 Queen sofa sleeper. There is 1 full bath, an office space w/ desk & many amenities to make you feel right at home. Relax in the large beautifully landscaped backyard equipped w/ fire pit, grill, & outdoor dining area. Explore nature trails, Mary's Lake & 3 parks just a few blocks away. Located 3 mi. from KU & downtown Mass. St., & under 5 mi. from the hospital. Ideal for families, friends, business & traveling nurses. Conveniently located off K-10 hwy.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, seasonings, and a few extras. There is a washer & dryer in the unit for your convenience & also on-site parking. Our house is a duplex, with the VRBO Unit A on the main floor. The backyard is the only shared space. Both units have separate entrances & doorbells, ensuring privacy. Unit A does not have access to Unit B & vice versa. Enjoy your stay with peace of mind of independent living spaces.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Close & lock all windows & close all curtains. Empty each room’s trash cans into the kitchen trash cans. If cans are full, take the full bags & place them in the outdoor cans on the side of the house.
Put all used towels from the kitchen & bathroom along with the bathroom rug, into a laundry basket from either closet. Place the filled basket in front of the washer. No need to start the laundry.
Turn off ALL lights, ceiling fans, & exhaust fans. Lock the front door deadbolt when you leave. Let us know once you’ve departed. If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out via app :-)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
This is an Animal Free property. Absolutely no animals are allowed in or on the property.
Damaged/stained/soiled/missing linens and/or towels will be charged to the guest as well as any significant property damage starting at a min. of $150
Guests booking for more than 14 nights are subject to a $100 cleaning deposit to accommodate the additional upkeep required for longer-term stays.

We were a group of four traveling to a conference at the University of Kansas--the hotels were all booked up, and this place was a great alternative for us! Good location, reasonable rates, and everything worked out wonderfully. :)

Cute alternative to a Lawrence Hotel

We were visiting KU and found this cute house through VRBO for a weekend stay only a few minutes from campus. The owners left bottled water and coffee for us which was a nice touch. Perfectly fine house that you can tell the owners are putting care into making it feel “homey”.

Hidden gem

Everything you need nestled quietly in a friendly neighborhood. The house was immaculate with all amenities. Host was friendly, prompt and attentive. The backyard was amazingly tended to including lighted fire pit area, lighted gravel walkway, gazebo and beautiful landscape.
