This property boasts two separate living spaces. The main floor has a king bed, walkin closet for plenty of storage, and a full bath. The loft space has a queen bed with twin bed trundle as well as a full bath. The Bird House sleeps up to 5 and would be a good fit for friends, couples, or a family with school age children. You will find a well equipped kitchen with quality appliances, utensils and cookware to fix your favorite homemade meals. Enjoy coffee in the dining area, relax in the cozy living room with gas fireplace and stream movies for a night in. In the summer, lounge on the lovely outdoor deck for an evening BBQ and sunset. This bungalow has peekaboo views of the mountains facing West. If you bring your kayak or paddle board, you are steps away from loading into the estuary. Stay a few days or a few weeks, a washer and dryer are available on site.

Whether you are looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Northern Idaho or seeking adventure, the Dover Bay community has something for everyone. Very pleased to discover this well-decorated and comfortable vacation rental. We were all impressed by the stylish decor and high end sofa and beds with luxurious linens. Sweet touches (bottle of wine, Kruerig coffee, and some snacks) and the cleanest place I have rented yet on VRBO. Thank you! And especially for allowing the early check-in. We loved this darling modern bungalow! It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The upstairs loft made for the perfect "kids hangout" and having their own bathroom to use was a game changer! The host provided excellent communications regarding the check-in/check-out process, which we found to be super helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us Marissa! Beautiful property!!

Very nice, clean property just steps from Pend Orielle River..public swim area was convenient for swimming, paddle boards, all round water fun. There is a great pathway that winds down to the river and around the neighborhood that is awesome and Sandpoint is just down the road about 5 miles. The bungalow is tastefully decorated, had the basics you need to cook a meal. We enjoyed using the grill in the evening and sitting on the porch. Quiet area, totally recommend if your looking for a relaxing getaway.

Fantastic clean and cute cabin!

Our family traveled to Dover for a friends wedding. Never having been in the area before, we booked Marissa's little cabin by the lake. We could not have been happier! From the get go, Marissa was very easy to reach and answered all my questions quickly. Check in was easy as Marissa sent directions beforehand. Wifi was fast, and the house was outfitted with everything anyone could need for a comfortable stay. The cabin was furnished beautifully- with plush towels, comfortable beds and soft pillows. A little welcome gift was left for us and we enjoyed it immensely! I would gladly stay at Marissa's property again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Dover.

Welcoming & Cozy

We booked this last minute for our elderly parents since their previous travel Plans were altered due to weather. Marissa was an absolute dream to work with. Always available for questions & help as we were getting checked in. Our parents were welcomed with holiday cookies, a bottle of wine, and a nice card. They were comfortable and everything was provided to make their stay pleasant. There was a lot of snow & ice with temperatures dipping below zero some days. She provided a snow shovel, which we used a lot, & salt for the walk ways & steps. It is the perfect spot for a nice couple getaway & will be watching for future dates to rent for ourselves.
